This is her first real attempt at losing weight and I don't want to see her become a yo-yo'er. I was really hoping to reset the set weight. I will try not to stress over it, her being in her first round I don't know if this is normal stuff or not.
First of all, she is still *under* her LDW and within her window. So, I wouldn't be stressed about a 2 lbs fluctuation. She ate sugar and flour etc after not eating it for weeks. Its only water...not fat. I think you need to give in to the fact that her set point weight will be what her body wants it to be...you have no control over it. Trust me...I get it...but you have to. It will make you crazy if you don't.

She is not yo-yoing. She is fluctuating within her window. She will NOT stay the same weight each and every day. I can stay on plan and gain 3 lbs overnight from TOM. It happens.

Have a great day!

Koo, I wouldn't stress either about the 2 pound cookie weight. Just be sure she eats clean and it will disappear.

I can't recommend a cup of broth enough! Helps with the shakes and quieting down a rumbly tummy. With the weight loss comes sodium and potassium depletion (and sometimes magnesium). Cup of broth really will make you feel better. I also sometimes add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to it. Gives it a hot/sour soup type of flavor.

Do you get the broth that has no added salt? Do you just warm it up?

R2 ( I don't know what to call today)
Weight on VLCD#1: 175.8
Yesterday's weight: 161.8
Today's weight: 161.6
# below VLCD #1: -14.2 lbs
# gain/loss from yesterday: -.2 lbs

So after all that food (fat), I still lost.

I don't know what to do. I ordered some new drops last week before I decided to move to P3. I feel like maybe calling this an interruption and finishing the 40 days when the drops come in. My body seems to be jump started. I really think I was in starvation mode before because maybe the drops were not good. My body is really liking the extra calories and fat right now. I am amazed that I'm not gaining. But I also feel that my body needs a break. What should I do????

(background info: I am on round 2 and between days 19 and 28, I lost nothing and experienced extreme hunger. I decided to move on to P3, even though I really wanted to finish the 40 days. I did not experience this at all my first round and suspected the drops were somehow deactivated. I've eaten P3 style for the first 2 non-dosing days(Mon and Tues) and lost both days. My body feels like it's thanking me for the food!)

Yesterday's menu:
Breakfast: Coffee
Snack: 3 sausage links (left over from kid's breakfast)
Lunch: Big salad with bacon, cheese, tomato, and ranch
Snack: apple with Walden F caramel dip, slice pepper jack cheese, handful mixed nuts
Dinner: Cheesy Chili Chicken, brussel sprouts with bacon and butter
Dessert: peachs and strawberries with HWC

No, you need the salt. Your body flushes extra salt when you are losing weight rapidly. Course homemade would be best...but I just use packets. Yes, I just warm it up.

Ok I bought some with no added salt so that won't do. Do you just make sure that there isn't any added sugar in the broth?

Yes, just try to avoid any extra starches or sugars. Any other spices are great.

I tell you I go thru a LOT of spices on P2! I just have to have extra flavor - maybe why I love the P2 chili so much.

I found some organic one that doesn't have any added sugar so I will buy that one. I want to make the chili but haven't found the hunt's fire roasted tomatoes.

Thanks for the help.

How many days are you going on this round?

I am going to order another bottle od drops today just so I have them might as well plan ahead instead of getting caught without them.

I do short rounds. 23 days of shots and then 72 hours vlcd without the HCG. The HCG I get is in powder form and it will keep indefinitely until it is mixed.

I am still struggling, too. I am still not sure what to do. I am down to 154.2, but take a look at my last 10 days. Net loss in 10 days is 1.6 lbs. I am fighting for every ounce.

Day 17 155.8 (-1.1)
Day 18 155.3 (-.5)
Day 19 155.5 (+.2)
Day 20 155.6 (+.1)
Day 21 155.3 (-.3)
Day 22 155.3 (-0.0)
Day 23 154.3 (-1.0)
Day 24 156.3 (+2.0)
Day 25 154.8 (-1.5)
Day 26 154.2 (-.6)

This is when it gets really, really hard to stay on protocol. I am hungry, some days I am starving. It is difficult to keep going. But I know if I go to P3, I will miss even *trying* to lose. I so wanted to see a new decade this round, but I haven't even hit a 10 lb. loss yet, post-load. I am as confused as you are.

Frustrating!

I am down .8 today, but I have REALLY noticed my jeans getting loose. The pair I have on, usually they are tight and then stretch out during the day as I sit, they were loose when I put them on! No need to stretch. And I wear these every week, so I was very surprised this AM!

I guess TOM & sodium had something to do with it, but it's disappointing. I'm going to break my fast a couple hours late today, and if that doesn't do it, I think I'll try a modified steak day tomorrow.

Okay, finally posting on here. I've been scouring posts for the past month while on P2. Today is the last day of HHCG dosing for me and my wife

Pre-load: 235.5
Post-load: 237.7
R1P2 VLCD #38: 203.7

Now on to 2 days of no HHCG...yikes! We start P3 on Saturday and we are really looking forward to a trip to Vegas next month. We are approaching P3 as sort of an Atkins + fruit diet.

The plan is to stick to P3 through Thanksgiving and then do our load days on the Friday and Saturday following the holiday. We will be doing a 23 day round of P2 next time as well. These last 10 days or so have been TOUGH!

Yes, do leave out the chicken! I ate the egg drop soup with chicken broth and eggs. If that was considered mixing proteins, then I did quite well. I still lost overnight. Definitely sounds like a great soup for P3 though!! DH is after me for eating more seaweed---it is great for the thyroid. I will have to take him up on it, but not until P3!!! Just need to make sure I don't wrap mine in rice!!
