HCG Non Simeon's Week of Oct/25/2010

Hi and WELCOME to everyone!

This is a thread to discuss those of us using HCG and following our own paths, doing our own experiments, or following the original Simeons Protocol as written.

We wanted a place to talk about what we are doing no matter what it is... anyone and everyone are welcome to join in the discussion or just read and maybe take some ideas away..

Here is a link to our original thread:

HCG - Non Simeon's Protocol

Week of Oct. 18- 24 2010

Jen, I agree with you that these threads are very positive and there is NO one way to do anything.. I love that everyone is finding their own way and their own success!.. Everyday seems to be an experiment!!

Marci, It sounds like you have a GOOD idea of what is holding you up and may you have release VERY SOON!.... Your plan sounds wonderful, and you know Low Carb works, so when those drops get going in your system, I would imagine a good drop on the scale for you.. one day at a time.

So this is something I find amazing...

Yesterday I had decided that I was going to just maintain for a while, and not worry about what I ate.

I wanted to let my body rest after losing over 70 pounds in just over 3 months. So WHAT I was eating yesterday was not going to be such a concern. What I found out this morning though, was that my weight stayed the same even 2 hours earlier as yesterday.

Yesterday I had 8 pancakes with syrup and butter for breakfast. Then a nice Ribeye, half a 50% chocolate bar, Chicken Chili P2 style with cabbage and an added chicken thigh. A Klondike bar, 3 mini bags of M&M's. ( not proud! )

For dinner I had a big hamburger on Low Carb Bread with 2 slices of cheese, and the other half of the 50% chocolate bar. oh and BIG glass of milk.

All this and I am not counting cals during this time, but I am taking the drops 2 times a day. I was not hungry, but I ate well. No gain, No loss.. awesome
!

We shall see what the rest of the week brings.. gain for yesterday? Loss?

Oh the intrigue...

TGIM! Yup, I am seriously glad the loading weekend is over. The very idea of eating is a turn-off to me, and if it keeps up like this, Imma gonna drop serious amounts of weight!

Yesterday, I finally had my chocolate Danish for breakfast, followed by coffee with cream, a stirfry of chicken, veggies and cashews with extra peanuts from Thai Express, another handful of cashews in the afternoon, and a couple of forkfuls of potroast as Snack #2, before dinner out with my son (cream of tomato soup, rye bread with butter, two pierogies, some bigos, 2/3 of a huuuuuge potato pancake and a couple of tastes of my son's apple square).

I learned that a) I really prefer eating clean, b) the volume that I want to eat is not as huge as it used to be and c) these drops have some powerful mojo! Can't wait till I weigh in on Saturday and see the results!!

Thanks for starting these new weekly threads, Deb AND for posting the links to the past threads for the new peeps if they want to catch up.

I don't know if I knew you'd lost 70 pounds in three months or not, but that is just incredible!! It's taken me seven months and I haven't yet lost 50 on hHCG. Ah, well, we are all different and as I keep telling myself it's not a race!

Yes, it's weird how we obsess over what we eat and what the scale numbers say. We do everything 'right' and find the scale hasn't moved or GASP has moved in the wrong direction. Then there are times like when I loaded in Round 4 and had NO GAIN AT ALL! I makes no sense. But this isn't hard science like math and 2+2 doesn't always equal 4! It's more like rolling dice! And we are just along for the ride! FUN FUN FUN!

Down a pound today! Also Low Cal day today. I'm wondering if I should try doing the juice twice a day instead of three times. Sure would be easier to remember them. Hmmmm......

Thank you Marci! I have never in my life lost this amount in such a short time, so I am in a weird place as far as knowing what may come next... ???

Anyway, I attribute it to the hHCG because of the many other ways I have tried to lose and could not. This is the only thing that is different really in my attempts to lose.

WE ALL ARE SO DIFFERENT!! it is really bizarre that what works so well for one, will not do a thing for another... I don't get it, after all we are all human.... arent we?....

Ok, I do know that everyone has different body chemistry so of course we will react in different ways... I just find it frustrating maybe?

Congrats on the POUND GONE !!!! Here you go on your way down!! You go girl!!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Good morning and Happy Monday!!

Deb-WOW!! You're such a great example of how effective this plan is!! Even the rogue version (or especially the rogue version!!). WTG!! I think I will rest a bit this week myself. Wise woman!

Violet and Sela-looking forward to hearing about your losses this week!! You can do it!!

Well, it's my 3rd week back to the VLC part of my rogue HCG plan, and I'm stalling again. I'm okay with that, and expected it, but now I'm not sure how to proceed. In all I've done the HCG dosing/VLC portion 37 days, with a 10 day interruption in between days 23 and 24. TOM is in the house this morning, and I'm up a bit on the scale today - 162.8 (+0.6 from Fri.). So, I'm wondering if it's okay to keep going with VLC for this week and see what happens, or if maybe btw. TOM and the length of time I've been VLC, I should take a week's break and start again next Mon.? I'm leaning toward that idea, and considering whether I should dose through the break, just up my cals, or skip the dosing too.

I have enough drops, so I may just lower the dosing to twice a day while I take a break. I'll still do LC, mostly P3 like, but probably lower cals than I typically would. I so want to see 159 before mid-Nov. I think it's doable, but hate the thought of wasting time or wreaking havoc on my body, and already lethargic metabolism. I guess we'll take it a day at a time and see.

Have a great week guys!!

70 lbs in 3 months is a huge amount of weight to lose. And it truly is amazing that you did not gain after eating pretty much "whatever" -- that is always the biggest problem with any plan that works is the not gaining when you go off of it. The HCG really is some amazing stuff.

I am on VLC29 (with a 1 week interruption) and saw my biggest release yet this morning -- 2 lbs!! I've never seen a one day drop like that except for the initial load weight.

I switched from Rx injections to the hHCG drops after my interruption because I was worried about immunity and did not have much left. I did get a different brand of drops this time and I do think that these are better.

I was really bad on Friday night (ended up at a party w/ no P2-friendly or non-carb foods , not to mention about a half a bottle of wine). And I also had wine on Saturday and steak w/ a salad with Caesar dressing. Both of these transgressions did not hurt me and I did even lose some. But I really wanted to kick it up, so I did an "all beef" day yesterday. Kind of like a steak correction day, but I did have some steak for lunch and some fattier pot roast beef for dinner.

Today I have a lunch date and will most likely do a Atkins-friendly salad of some kind. Then probably some leftover beef for dinner. Tues- Thurs I am doing 3 days of meat & egg only. We'll see where I end up by the weekend, but I am feeling very encouraged!

Thank you Julie! I appreciate it.. I think your body may be saying its time for a break.. who knows? I know you have done fantastic and if you relax a bit, you may be surprised with some extra loss that you did not expect. Like I said above, I continue with my drops 2 x a day, because it really seems to help me with my fat burning and keeping the appetite under control...

Whatever you decide BEST OF LUCK!!

Thanks Emi! I do 15 drops twice a day. That is what my bottle says and it is easier to remember. I did one round pretty much by the book. I did have cream in my coffee and diet coke though. OH, and I had extra protein on days I was hungry.

Other than that I did it pretty clean. Lost 21 pounds on that round. Maintained for a couple of weeks. Since then though, I have gone rogue and that is because I am just not strong enough to stick with 500 cals, and it seemed to work just as well for me to eat more.

I still lost very quickly and with no real long stalls. Like Marci said, I wish we all could have the same results doing the same thing, but until you try it for yourself you just never know! It is all an experiment with me, every day I learn something new about how MY body reacts... interesting!

Happy Monday! I love the feeling I am having. I only dosed once a day for the entire weekend and stayed around 1000 cals and under 30 carbs. No cravings whatsoever...I did notice that when I had true hunger I would pop a few almonds and cheese inbetween meals. I am excited to know that I can achieve similar results with hunger without as many drops. I may run out before the new ones arrive. I did not do this on purpose, but I am glad to know that I can control myself even without the 3 doses a day. Have a nice day everyone!

Help questions

Hi, this is my first post ever on anything, so if I do something wrong, sorry. I have some questions. I am taking the rx HCG under the tongue. Had done 22 days and lost 18 pounds but need more food.... I read about people using coconut oil and making chocolate delight. Could I take hcg and have this? Can I eat Atkins induction way with breakfast... and possibly still lose weight? You take the hhcg three times a day. If I get hungry can I take rx hcg during the day? I know that everyone is playing with this and doing what works for them... Just could you put in more detail what is and what is NOT working for you. I was going to just give up this weekend and I found your post and have new encouragement. Y'all get to eat sometimes. Thank you for your time.

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
I've been mulling over my experiment. I think the combination of deep ketosis (since I'm low carb this time) and of course the drops is keeping the hunger at bay.

Jen-betw. ketosis and your drops you're doing great!!

What I've learned, for me, so far is:
I think the losses are just as good at 800cals a day, and I can relatively easily maintain at around 1000-1300 cals/day. I do need to watch cheese apparently though, although not like a hawk, and for some odd reason veggies/salads don't work as well as plain eggs/meat do. And, sadly, I can probably only eat out once in a while if I hope to lose/maintain, which is a bummer. I eating out!! But, I like being thinner more!!

So, cream in my coffee, butter in my eggs, skin on my chicken, and cheese on my burger all works for me !! Yeah!! At least so far .

I'm gonna' up my cals this week, dose twice a day (ala Deb ) and see where I am at the end of the week. I'm gonna' keep my carbs low, shoot for <1500cal/day and ride TOM out. I like Deb's advice to relax a bit!! Thanks!!

Pati-thanks! I am close. That's why I don't really want to stop, even though I think my body would like to. But, we'll see how this week goes. You're doing great!!

Nitenurse-I'm w/ the others. I could be happy at 300lbs in a size 5 jeans ! Enjoy your success!!

LOL! I love that last part, y'all get to eat sometimes! That's exactly how I felt at the end of my first round, which I did by the book.

The Rx is really different than the homeopathic, which is what I take. There are immunity issues w/ the Rx that I dont' have to worry about. There are a few folks here who do the Rx and they can help you more, but there are several who switched from the Rx to the homeopathic with good results too. Less worry for me.

I am doing a LC version of "the plan". I have cream in my coffee, larger protein portions at my meals, and am using butter, oil, etc in my cooking. I don't avoid fat, but I don't eat it intentionally (like the coconut oil). I have given up the fruit and melba/grissini but much prefer it this way. And I've done well losing at this plan.

So, again, not advising anything, especially with the Rx, but wanted to share my experience. It's really nice to be able to eat moee and lose well. Congrats on your losses so far and to the board!!

WELCOME!!!!

Ok, I am not an expert on the RX, so I don't know about the dosing part. I hope an RX expert is here somewhere!!.. As for the eating and dosing, of course! Why not? This is what we are all doing, finding our way and what works like you said.

I know that I can eat low carb, dose and lose weight. Can YOU? That is something you will need to give a try and see. Others also do low carb, dose and lose.

I am so glad that you did not give up. There are alternatives to the strict Protocol that do work. Good luck! I hope others will chime in here with their stories!

What DOES NOT work for me is 500 calories anymore. It is not enough food for me, and I feel horrible. That I know to be true for ME.

Hi Deb... I was just wondering what brand of hhcg are you using?... I'm almost out of my 1st hhcg bottle and was about to reorder.. but wanted to rethink the brand... can you share the name brand of your hhcg?

Thanks.
