VS-Is The Real Program the new WW program? Would you mind describing it to me? I have thought about counting points (my low end pts. and not adding in the extra 35) and dosing. Not quite sure what my "rogue plan" will be but am interested in what you are doing! And congrats on the NSV!!

I have been keeping up with everyone, even though I am just now coming out of hiding. I just love to read all the different plans and what works for everyone! Can't wait to get my drops and get started again!
Of course we remember you! Jump back in and let us know how your experiment is going! .. I also like reading about what everyone is doing and how it is going.. it really helps!

Back!

I'm frustrated...seem to be stalling on my first week. TOM is over, and wondering if a two week interruption won't give you the big losses that a three week interruption will.

Here's my #s
167.6 (fat loaded this day)
168.4 (vlcd1)
167
166.4
164.8
163.6
163
163.4
164.4
163.6 (vlcd9)

I'm following my own version of the plan...no fruit or melba, 500+ calories every day.

Well I am not sure on that one... I just wanted to comment on how much you have lost in a very short amount of time! .. Maybe your body is just wanting a rest too?... who knows? Just a thought... but you are doing so awesome your body is probably in SHOCK!....

Hi j4! No, I'm still doing Momentum until the new WW program is unrolled. (But I do troll the 'Net for spoilers, and the closest I can find out is that there is even more of an emphasis on eating protein.)

So far so good, today. I didn't eat breakfast yet and I'm not all that hungry. I'm still thirsty, though, and I've got a nummy Asian pear that I think I'll grab. I'm craving high-water-content foods and proteins. Not a bad way to live, in general.

Ohhhhh we got ourselves another live one! Post often and GL!!
For the record, I re started working out with more calories in my system. I could barely function on 500 cals let alone workout But this is a personal thang....I may not be able to, but others may....I definitely wouldn't over do it on 500 calories tho....GOOD LUCK! I know the feeling of WANTING to workout oh too well

On my chicken....I used a bit of razberry wf salad dressing mixed with some Franks Wing Sauce. Then spooned a tad over the chicken. EXCELLENT!!

On the funny side....the other night, dh dished himself up a bowl of vanilla carbsmart ice cream and poured some wf syrup on top. He came out and I asked him which one he picked....the blueberry or the strawberry? He said the razzberry. I said I don't have any razberry, just blueberry or strawberry. He said....yes you do... and went and got the bottle to prove it to me. YUPP...that's what he had all right...razberry salad dressing all over his ice cream!!!! Good thing there was still some more in the freezer!!!
YUMMY! I love cabbage!!!

Many use Franks hot sauce....Is it THAT good? I am a Chalula fan

I must confess, my head was so not in teh game the last 2 days. I ate junk. I ate whatever I wanted- cheetos, chips and salsa, stove top (of all things!).

I maintened within 2 pounds but lost nothing new. Think at this point I am going to try and just maintain while dosing until the cruise is over. If I lose OK, but not going to obsess about it.

I saw a link in another thread to a blog from Omaha Med Spa. Basically, they are doing a higher calorie (700-800) version of this. Not sure if I can post link though, was an interesting read. If you google "The Hcg OWL in pictures" it is a wordpress site listed.

Im familar with Omaha Med Spa (Im in Omaha!). This Dr revised the HCG diet plan, raising the calorie limit because it caused better compliance in his patients and causes less acidosis from dieting and weakness, headaches from low potassium levels. He also says he sees no reason to stop hcg during mensus because that is when we get the hungriest, also does not believe in the whole immunity therory. He does not restrict lotions, etc. INTERESTING!

This sounds livable - I really like his flexibility in the use of foods to make this sustainable for the entire weight loss phase. Plus, 4 cups of veggies and unlimited salads: Happy Me! The guidelines are easy to follow, and it all makes sense. I'm a major fangirl, from what I've seen so far.

Never been to Omaha! But this seems rogue to me LOL. If they are using this protocol it has to be working for them as well.

We are not the outcasts we think we are. I feel weird posting on any other thread in this forum since I know our methods are deemed unconventional by most.

Deb, thank you so much for the kind words. You are my inspiration. Every time I worry about it, I remember how well you have done and I relax.

Petchie, hang in there! Thank you for the link to the Omaha Med Spa. That was really interesting.

Marci, I am so glad that you weathered the storm safely.

Susique, those are some awesome results. Way to go!

I discovered yesterday that I had accidentally bought the vanilla flavored NOW protein powder which is a bit higher in calories and is sweetened a bit vs the unflavored. Oh well. I paid 47.00 for it so I am eating it, and I must confess it is much tastier than the unflavored stuff.

I am happy to report that I am down another 1.4 lbs today. That makes 5.6lbs on day 5 of this round. And I feel great!

Congratulations to all of the losers and good luck to everyone!

Pati, you look mahhhhvellous!!! I am inspired by everyone in this thread, to be honest. We are all succeeding together, and I can't wait to step on the scale on Saturday!!

I am pleased to report that my apple belly seems to be receding! I haven't done anything different in terms of exercise, but I look like more of an hourglass today than I did last week at this time. I will take measurements at the end of the bottle of juice, so the final figures will be of great interest.

Another comment on the Omaha plan: people are advised to stay on the LCD and juice till they reach their target weight. This is against the Simeon Protocol, and would be equivalent to staying on Induction till you reach goal, in Atkins terms. I'll have to do more digging into this, because I want to know the Omaha maintenance plan, too.

Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well. I'll catch up with you later. Not hungry today. I really hope my drops arrive today. I will never do this again...let my drops get low because I am so scared. Yesterday I was able to keep the calories low (700's) and the carbs were 22 grams. I am definitely going to check out what the Omaha Med Spa is doing. Sounds interesting!

Well, I try to schedule my "up" days (calories at 1000-1200, very low carb) the day before I want to exercise. The one time I tried after multiple "down" days (500-700 cals) I felt weak and almost felt like I could pass out afterward (and it wasn't really strenuous, just a 40 minute walk). So I think that is probably the reason Dr. Simeon recommended no exercise during P2. But since I am a tweaker..... may as well tweak that a bit too.

I just realized that my math was bad. It is 6.6lbs lost not 5.6lbs in 5 days! I feel so silly for messing up basic math. I guess I can try and blame it on the low calories. I am just glad I got it wrong in that direction because now I am super delighted instead of bummed.

I am happy to report that I am down another 1.4 lbs today. That makes 5.6lbs on day 5 of this round. And I feel great!

Congratulations to all of the losers and good luck to everyone!
That's wonderful!! WTG on the losses!! I use LC choc. protein powder (MRM) and it's worked great for me!!

Deb-you're losing while maintaining? So jealous!! I'm not, but wouldn't mind it . Not stressing, just commenting.

I've been running so much I haven't been able to keep up. Hope you're doing well. I got my hair colored today, it's still mostly blonde, but got some chunky darker brown low-lights put it. Love it and it was only $30 at this beauty school out here. The girl who did it graduates next month and the teacher spent a long time chatting with me about what I wanted and how to get it. I'm thrilled!!

I weighed in at 163.0 this morning. Up 0.8 from my lowest wt of 162.2 on Fri., but eating higher cals (1200) this week while TOM is here. Not too shabby .

Thanks! I am planning to up my calories and incorporate excersise. I cant see going all the way to Dec on 500 calories with no treadmill. I'm going to start light but make sure I get some weight lifting in. Another member shared what she does with apprx 20 min on eliptical and weights. Weights help to tone these "losses" up
Ohhhhh we got ourselves another live one! Post often and GL!!
I just realized that my math was bad. It is 6.6lbs lost not 5.6lbs in 5 days! I feel so silly for messing up basic math. I guess I can try and blame it on the low calories. I am just glad I got it wrong in that direction because now I am super delighted instead of bummed. [/QUOTE

OUTSTANDING!!!!

Well Julie I have over 40 pounds on you!!.. So yeah, I was eating a bit too much over the weekend, then dropped back down to 1200 yesterday and lost that weight. I think this is definately going to be an experiment for me! Today I have had over 1500 cals, and I don't expect to lose again, I just hope I don't gain. That is my plan for this week anyway, TRY to figure out what it will take to maintain.

NOT TOO SHABBY AT ALL!!! keep up the good work!!

I'm marking my spot and reading all the great successes. I think I am going rogue soon. I have 6 pounds to get to my mini goal and then I am vacation in November so I am going rogue. If that is possible to do in Vegas.
