I think I'll try the shiritaki noodles again, but my first attempt wasn't so good.

The Dreamfields pasta is delicious. Just like the real thing. It seems like some people can eat it without any problems, and for some it acts like real pasta. I may have to do some experiments soon.
The tofu shirataki noodles are very much like regular angel hair pasta. I FINALLY found them at Meijers!!! But I also enjoy the white and brown shirataki noodles too.

Betcha if the doc had lived longer he would have updated and revised his protocol just like Atkins did!!

Other than a few clinics and doctors here and there who've tweaked the plan, that's all I know about. I wish some had carried on and really got into the science and biology and details of this plan and updated it for today.

I totally agree! I think if he was doing his research now, with more of the products that we have available now, his plan would be different. I have read reports from some other doctors where they duplicated his research, but I don't know about actually carrying on his work.

Thanks Paula! I need to take a more updated photo. I had a hard time finding a picture to show all of you since when I was at my heaviest; I tended to shy away from cameras. Now I love to pose...lol

Wow!! you guys look wonderful!! I love pictures!! It's one thing to see stats, but to actually see the physical transformation that losing weight does is so inspiring!!

Deb-I too want to celebrate Onederland with you!! That's such a great accomplishment!! you've really found what works for you and you must be so happy!! You go girl!!

I'm down another lousy 0.2 this morning!! C'mon!! It's just now a week back to low calorie and I'm losing SO SLOWLY!! Bummer!! I was 164.4 when I started back and am down to 160.4 this morning. I get the second and third week stall, but the first week? Really? I do lose slowly and am rogue, but my cals are still so low that I should be losing more quickly! ARGH!! Trying to be patient, and relax, but definitely bummed! I guess it does average out to 0.5lbs a day, but that first week is usually the fastest and I will probably slow down from here. I surely hope not .

Well, there's crying coming from upstairs, so I'd better run. TTYL..

I MADE IT FOLKS!! I passed through the gates to ONEDERLAND!!.. not much of a loss, but I really ate a TON of food.. steak, chicken thighs, pork chops, and no veges or fruit yesterday. Probably about 2300 cals according to ******, but I was hungry and I didn't want to hurt my losses too much.

So ....199.4 today!...
Yay Deb!!! That is so incredibly awesome!!!!!

And your before and afters??? Incredible!!! I'm not over-exagerating (why can't I spell this word??) when I say you lost about 15 YEARS along with all those pounds. What an inspiration you are. And so kind and helpful to boot!!

Remember ebbs and flows are part of this thing, also pounds AND INCHES! Are you losing inches? Don't stress, it WILL happen! Let your body do it's thing ... and shake it up if necessary!!!

WOE: VSG 75 lbs. down and expecting baby 6/2013! :)
Hi everyone, I'm back!!!

Today I'm eating high fat low carb in preparation for VLCD #1 tomorrow. I was going to wait the full 6 wks and start after Thanksgiving but this P3 has been really hard for me. My LDW was 186.2 and I got down to 184.8 before I started gaining. My last weigh in was 9 days ago and I was 190.8. I'm so scared to step on the scale tomorrow and see what my starting weight for this round will be!

Now, you're going to make me cry. Hopeless, was an everyday feeling before Weight Watchers showed me that I did not need to rely on food for companionship anymore. I got a sweet little doggie named Max for that .

Despite gaining 30 lbs back after losing my Dad last year, I still feel good about my weight loss achievements so far and I love the fact that there are so many new ways to reach my goal, AGAIN.

So thank you so much for sharing your before and after pictures and motivating all of us to keep it moving!

Well I know it's kinda of late.. but here are my stats for today 11/7/10... I lost another 1.2 lbs. today... bringing my total loss for 6-whole days to 14.4 lbs. WOW is all I can say... WOW!!!

Today I up'd my protein a lot... had a 8-oz steak w/2-whole eggs w/butter and cheese.

Dinner w/be a little more concervative... 4-oz steak w/green beans.... lots of water....

Also w/have a small piece of chocolate lowcarb cupcake... loads of water to wash it away......

I think the scale may be a little up tomorrow.. but that's part of my plan.. so that the rest of the week... I lose lose lose.

Alley-I'm sorry for your loss too. I lost my dad May 1, 2007 and still miss him every day . I too gained back about 20lbs after all of that and then went on to gain another 10lbs last year. Now I'm happy to be back near my all time low and looking to go even lower. We can do it!! It'd make your dad proud to see you taking control and doing so well! You'll make your Goal!!

Marci and Deb-thanks for the reminder!! I know it'll take a bit longer as I get closer to goal, and am glad there isn't any gain, but I've been so good!! Less than 800 cals a day all week!! Most days around 500cals. I really expected to lose. Hopefully tomorrow. I'm gonna' keep at it, and keep my cals <800 all week. I'd really love to hit 155 by next Wed. I think I can do it. If I lose 0.5 a day (the average) I will get there.

back Thin!! Glad to have you back losing with us!! I'll bet the scale won't be as bad as you think.

Ok, the Eagles are winning, barely, and dh is yelling at the TV, like most Sunday afternoons. We all went for a nice bike ride, played at the park, and now we're getting ready for dinner. Boneless/skinless chicken thighs in the crockpot w/ broth, celery, onion, carrots and seasoning. Smells heavenly in here . Have a great night!!
