Productive.....IT'S FRIDAY! How productive can "we" be on Friday.

Just ate lunch. Of course - not everything I brought - had a pice of 10spice Tilapia from the cafeteria and 1/4 stalks of celery. I do get full fast on the juice. So far so good today.

Hey AllMyPonies - good to see you here

Julieboolie always reminds me of anna banna bo mamma song...

Just remember, that breaks are only good if you can pick up where you left off! So on that note, ENJOY your break without all these silly dietary restrictions .

We'll all be looking forward to your return with a whole new outlook and ready to work on that hot bikini bod for 2011 !

Thought this would be a good place to ask.....has anyone had alcohol while in p2...if so what and how did it effect you. I have a party to go to tomorrow and I am trying to decide what I am going to do.

Thanks!

OH my goodness!! I keep getting on to post, and by the time I'm done reading, I don't have time to post!

Everybody is doing so great!! Marci, maybe a break is just the thing for you. I'm anxious to see how it jump starts your losses again!

I'm still hanging out at 205, so I don't think I'll be hitting Onederland before I leave to go see my kids on Monday, but that's okay. My plan is be very good, keep juicing, and eat very low carb while I'm with them. That's the plan anyway.

I know I'm going to FREEZE while I'm out there! It's still in the 90's here in Arizona, and I know Kansas is going to be nothing like this!!

Greetings fellow Rebels and Rogues!

I started out the morning with a lovely -3 pound release. That was awesome! Visions of getting into the 250's danced in my head.

THEN....ohhhhh dear, THEN....I was informed that I had to take my inlaws (who are old-fashioned and fully Chinese) out to dinner at the local Asian Buffet because my FIL's 68th birthday is Monday and it's my 'responsibility' to make sure the children get to spend the day with my inlaws at their choice of restaurant.

I did very well for the actual LUNCH portion. Mongolian grill of broccoli, sirloin, red pepper and garlic. No oil and only gluten-free soy sauce (which is very low cal, low carb). Probably a 250 calorie meal.

Then the dessert cart jumped up and slapped me in the mouth. Egg tart, ice cream, and birthday cake. Probably another 500-600 calories of pure junk. It's my first real, stupid cheat. I had some kind of guilt, though, because the restaurant had made the effort to provide us with gluten-free, celiac safe versions of several of their signature desserts. It's expensive and more work for the restaurant to do that and I just hated to be the big poop who looked at the desserts and then said the DIET word.

I almost cried in the middle of the restaurant. I'm over it now, though. Pushing water, not eating till tomorrow, and on with the program. I'll take what life gives me. Maybe it'll be a stall, maybe a gain...maybe I'll even get a crazy random loss.

I can't let myself be crazy though, when life happens. I can try to be intentional. I can keep my head in the game as much as possible. But when I crash, I have to get back up. That's been my downfall too many times in the past. One big cheat or one bad weigh in and I'd give up entirely.

I had wine on my first by the book P2 and it took a couple of days to lose again.. it was sorta worth it though.... Since then, I have had wine on several occasions while eating MY WAY.. and my weight goes up the next day, but back down again the day after. That is because I always try to follow a HIGH day( booze and food) with a very low day... like P2 eating..

I guess just decide if it is worth it to you... sometimes it just IS!..

It's freezing here in Missouri... and I would assume also Kansas since they are my neighbors... I love it though!!. much better than sweating into a pile of goo... ( although my fat can do that anytime it wants!! )

Hang in there! I'll probably wait for you to hit onederland, cuz today I am eating a sorta high day... we shall see though!!

Colorado weather is still really nice. 75 tomorrow!

Well folks - I am not on line much over the week-end. Since I sit at the computer all day during the week I try to give myself a break. Occasionally I do check in.

Everyone have a fantastic week-end.

JUICE on!

Thanks Pati! I can't wait to spend a few days with them, and with my grandkids too!

Deb, when I lived out there, I never minded the cold, but since I've been gone, when I go back I just freeze!! It's crazy!!

Simpleleigh, no worries. Even if you show a small gain tomorrow, or the next day, you will be surprised at how fast it will come back off. I wasted almost the whole month of October, but when I finally got my head back in the game, the weight came back off really quickly, so don't let it throw you.

I am bloated and the only thing I've eaten differently is salad veggies? Has anyone ever experienced bloat from veggies? TOM is also due, so I guess it could be pre-mense but it hurts like crap! . My tummy is on swoooooool right now.

Hey Meek, salad veges are full of gas.... seriously.. I have had it all week long, and it SUCKS... I love Salad but sometimes not worth the bloat... it will leave you soon.. .and if Tom is involved, definately don't stress on any kind of temporary water...

That explains it....I haven't had a salad in such a long time...started craving lettuce lastnight and had 2 cups today. The salad was delicious, but not worth the pain. Ouch!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Meek-yep, salad isn't working for me these days. I even gain when I eat it on P3!! So, I skip it for now. I'll live. Eventually, when I'm at "goal" and maintaining I'll reintroduce it and let my body adjust. Maybe some yogurt with it will help. Raw broc. is just not an option for me anymore. So painful. The rest is just light gas, and gain. Sigh. But, thankfully, I like meat and cheese, and cream in my coffee. That seems to be working for me.

Gonna' go see Megamind tonight with the fam. Looks hilarious!! bringing my water bottle along and probably gonna' need to chew some gum to keep me distracted, but I'll be fine.

Mthrgoos-keep warm. You've lost some insulation so bundle up!

Deb-enjoy that cold weather!! I'll trade with you in July, but we're finally getting into our nice weather out here in Az.

Pati-stay out of trouble this weekend .

Simpleleigh-you've got the right perspective and I totally know how you feel about the "pressure" when someone's gone out of their way to accomodate you. Right back on plan, you'll be fine!

Have a great weekend guys!.

Please tell me you haven't eaten worms.

The texture of the noodles doesn't bother me at all either. Just kinda chewy.
