What gave you the fastest release?
Just wondering....,for those of you who journal and write everything down, what food combination's ...time of meals...walking or exercise..you have used that seemed to give you quick releases?
My DH will be home in about a week after being gone with work for over a month. I have not told him I am back on the juice and would really like for him to see a difference. I did this several years ago with good results..I went through a clinic the first time and they said nothing about p3 and p4 ....so I started right back in the same place now. I have tried this on my own before but did not stick it out...I am determined to now... Would love to get the most I can out of this in the next week and I am not good at writing things down...so will start to do that now, but I would love some examples of what has really worked for you and then I can use that as a reference to see what works for me. I am on my second week and usually lose .4 I would love to get some 1lb or more days in before the DH gets home. again thanks in advance ...I am just trying to get a game plan for next week and be a better planner and recorder this round. |

Round 3..Best Yet
Hi Redhead..
I'm on my 3rd round & getting the best results yet. (Total loss 63 lbs. since April 5) Things I'm doing different & getting approx. 2 lb. losses daily since beginning R3P2 last weekend... 1) Keep it clean...not trying to sneak things in like Walden Farms Zero Calorie Whatever! 2)Not mixing vegetables. 3)Walking 30-40 minutes, 2-3 times a week. 4) Varying my meals...last time I got lazy & had P2 Chili 2-3 days at a time...pretty much mixing it up between fish/chicken. Hope this works for you too..good luck! |

I think its different for everyone. I lost well on the first round and I ate essentially grapefruit and strawberries for my fruit, I ate my grissini, I ate cukes, celery and cabbage as my veggies and I ate nothing but chicken, except twice I had beef and once I had scallops when I thought they were on protocol
. I didn't get fancy with recipes...just ate clean and let the hcg do its thing. I don't exercise either....other than what I get in during regular day to day activities. |

I like to do a 5 hour window...eat lunch at 12:30 and supper at 5:30.
Just have a lemon with potassium salt snack before bed. I find an egg lunch really effective...even if not my favorite! |

Not counting the initial load weight, which seems to come off quickly for most of us pretty easily....
I had my biggest release ever on this morning's weigh in. I am a rogue, so I tweak the protocol to what works for me, which is low/no carb (no fruit or grisini, allow some fat and minimal on vegetables). So yesterday I had an "all beef" day. Sort of like a steak correction day, but I had a small amount of steak for lunch and a pretty sizable portion of pot roast (fattier than what Simeon dictates) for dinner. This morning -- 2lbs released!! That is the most I've ever had outside of load weight. I am also w/in 10 lbs of goal, so I am very pleased with this. |

Hmmm, great thread, as a newbie I'm interested too...One thing I've heard is that drinking at least 3+ litres of water helps.

Way too much time on my hands!

Well for me, chicken and apple stalled me. Plus the apple was too sweet. I cannot face apples right now.lol
I actually eat egg/egg whites every day and steak or super lean hamburger. I also only eat a handful of veggies and a bit more strawberries. I was drinking a gallon of water/tea and when I cut back to about 2 liters and slowed it down by 5:30ish, the weight loss showed more. I wonder if I was water loading.lol I also take a can of zevia - and add it to the 2 liters of water if I am sick of tea. It has not hurt me at all. |

I was curious about the Zevia, looked up their website. I followed the link to the Oprah ad and got a case for $20 with free shipping, which I love the idea of. I have not seen it for sale here, what store do you find it in and how does that compare to the price on the website? Sounds like a good drink for those of us who feel a need to have a carbonated drink.

That seems like a good deal actually. We like orange and the berry flavor. I drink mostly water but add the zevia a bit to flavor it. It is a staple here now. |
