Hhcg contains no hcg?

I was wondering if the Hhcg contains no measurable amount of hcg (and is not regulated by the FDA), how do you know what you are getting?

When discussing this with my friends, they said if Hhcg doesn't contain measurable amounts of hcg how do you know it is not just the diet that is getting the results. I could not answer as I have never tried this and have to get my health on track before even considering it but thought it was a good question.

The only thing that I could come up with was that it "mimicked" hch and was thought to reduce hunger. Any help on how to better answer this question. Thanks Teresa

Well, you are not getting the actual hormone HCG. The only way to get that is to use the RX version of HCG.

If you read the ingredients list on the bottle it will say what it is made up of.

This is my understanding also. It has the "essence" of HCG and your body reacts as if it has the actual HCG hormone in it.. for ME.. it works as if it did, I have no doubts.

I have tried my way of eating with and without the drops, and the drops most definately make a difference in hunger and the rate of losing weight.

Thanks for answering my question. I have to say I am still puzzled though. How can I read the ingredients list. I have not seen any of the ingredients listed on any of the bottles for sale. Does yours have an ingredients list you are willing to share. I would love to see it.

I am not saying that it is not working for the people who are using it, I am only asking how this is possible when there is not a trace of hcg left in the bottle. Even if it were a placebo effect, if it makes people stick to this diet, it could be worth it.

The next thing that troubles me is if there is no regulation on the Hhcg, I would expect to find wide variations in the potency of different bottles. It is the nature of the beast that there would be some companies watering down their "essence" if you will, more than others. It seems to me that everyone who has ordered form every known sight to man has been happy. This doesn't jive with the sceptic in me.

I have not tried the drops so I can't say first hand. I know there a lot of smart, well read people on this site and I am just wondering how they over came these seemingly obvious questions. Perhaps many have decided not to think too much about it and just give it a try?..... Thanks, Teresa

Hi Copar-I was a HUGE skeptic before trying it myself. I read, and read, and read. There are some bogus hHCG suppliers out there. There was some post I read (can't find it now, sorry!) that talked about how just following the 500VLC diet alone, w/o the aid of the HCG, wouldn't work as well. The dieter would be stuck in starvation mode and not lose weight after the initial loss. I think they studied the placebo effect too back in Simeon's original research.

That said, I don't really understand the hHCG either. I do understand that it's pain free, inexpensive, readily available and IT WORKS!! I dose 3 times a day, no Dr., no needle, and I'm losing weight, relatively easily and quickly. Whatever the bottom line is, it's effective. I gave it a clean 23 days to try it. Figured $30 and 3 weeks? Why not!! I'm so happy I did!!

Keep doing online searches and reading. It helps a lot!

I've tried 3 different brands and they all list ingredients.. Here is what 2 of them say:

Ingredients: HCG, Adrenal Liver, Thyroid and Fat Metabolizer in Potencies, and Collodial Mineral Water

2nd brand: Ingredients: HCG and Ethanol Alcohol.

I like both so far and they work for me.

I just decided to go on faith after reading for MONTHS about it, and I am so glad I did!!!... I am not worried about Homeopathy and regulation at all.. my sister works for a Homeopathic Doctor and is very reassuring on this and other Homeopathic remedies..

I use homeopathic remedies for stuff all the time. They work. Obviously the hHCG works for those taking it here in the forum. I know that the moderators granted permission to name the brand you use, so you can ask for recommendations.

I will stick (no pun intended ) to my RX HCG subq shots as it is working for me and I do them myself without going to a clinic.

Good luck...and again...research...research...research. This works.

Thanks very much for all your feedback. I have read your stories on line and I too see that many of you are having great success with Hhcg.

I do have one question for Deb. I am curious if there is no real hcg in any of the drops how are they listing it as an ingredient? I am not trying to "beat a dead horse" but to really understand the difference from one to another. Are there some that actually have hcg,or is it always just listed as an ingredient. Thanks in advance for your help and understanding on this topic. Teresa

There actually IS HCG in it, if you google Homeopathy, you can see how the process works. The short version is that it starts out with HCG and ends up with the "essence" of it... I'm not expert enough to explain it correctly though.

Here is some very scientific stuff... don't fall asleep reading it....

Homeopathic remedies begin with part of the original substance dissolved in alcohol, called the mother tincture. The mother tincture is then diluted many times. After each dilution the solution is shaken or "succussed", this shaking activates the remedy. The solution is then made into pills, powders, tinctures or creams. A 1X potency is created by mixing 1 part of the mother tincture and 9 parts alcohol or distilled water. In each successive number (increasing the potency 2X, 3X, 6X ), 1 part is taken from the previous potency and diluted according to the new potency.
Example: A 3X remedy (10x10x10=1000) has one part of the 2X remedy to 999 parts of alcohol or distilled water.
What does this mean to you when you are trying to select the remedy and potency?
1) The higher the potency (30th potency) the more confident you need to be that you have selected the correct remedy.
2) Use the lower potency (6th potency) when you are uncertain of the remedy.
3) Higher potencies take less doses. Lower potencies take more doses.
4) A general rule is double the C potency number to get the equivalent X potency.
15C = 30X
6C = 12X
