HCG, fast weight loss and migraines

I've lost 8 lbs in 5 days and I have had a migraine for 3 of those days and headaches on the others. I didn't lose this fast in my 1st round so only had a bit of a headache the first few days.

Has anyone else had migraines during protocol and is there something I can do to fix it? Such as a vitamin supplement? I am taking 300 mg potassium and sublingual B12 every day along with aspirin and Excedrin Migraine.

My migraines are triggered by certain foods and at certain times of the month. I suspect the weight loss is really upsetting your hormonal balance. I've had some wicked TOMs with all this weight loss.

I don't have any advice other than making sure your food choices are trigger free. Hope you are better soon!

Are you having caffeine withdrawals, maybe? And, as a frequent headache (not migraine, but tension headaches) sufferer myself, I have had times where I've taken so many pain relievers (Excedrin) that they stop losing their effect and in fact, I end up with what they call a "rebound headache". The only way to really get rid of one of those is just to wait it out. I'm so sorry, and I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks. It's not caffeine withdrawal because I am still drinking coffee. I think tension headache is what I have now that the migraine went away. I'll balance out...it just hurts!

I'm a fan of ibuprofen for tension headaches. Drink plenty of water and get some rest. I had a bad headache this weekend (which is really rare for me). Ibu and water and I was better in an hour. Hopefully it'll be gone in the morning.

Blah, I meant they START losing their effect, not stop losing it. Sheesh. I can't wait to get my brain back someday.
