But with your body used to the protocol, it makes a difference. All I can say is I really regret every wasted day! My second round I didn't cheat at all...also added in the cottage cheese because that's what I was missing my first round, cheese. Eat clean today and it will be right off! ![]() ![]()

I'm getting caught up here and I thought I'd add my 2 cents to what Peggy said. I too think maybe M should eat a little more. I am on my 2nd P3 and at times find myself eating just for the calories - somewhat loading-like. I feel that, for me, stabilizing in P3 at the highest possible calories will help me long term. After each round, I think I will need less and less calories to maintain, so I want this rounds maintenance calories to be as high as possible. Does that make sense? That way, I hope, when I am done, I can eat a good amount of food without worries of gaining. So, I put the idea (however tantalizing) of additonal losses aside and work at P3 almost as hard as I did P2. I think you both are working hard at this and doing a great job together. I hope you know that nothing I said is intended as a criticism - my opinion only. |

Hi! R2P2VLCD2. I'm happy to say that I've released all my vacation weight. I saw a 2.2 drop last night (6.6 total this round
) so I'm at pre-vacation weight. I'm still 6 lbs above my LDW from R1, but hopefully that will come off soon and I can enter new territory. |

AND...if you have any drinks with caffeine, drink that many ounces of water...above the half of your weight in ounces amount. ![]() You have been doing a wonderful job at working protocol. I'm sure that you will do great today, and you'll see the results tomorrow!!!! ![]() I'm sorry that I didn't remember the hunger/ whoosh fairy thing until late last night. Now, that I am on the subject of the Whoosh Fairy...another thing that I remember...sometimes, I have noticed that when walking, or riding in the car (hitting little bumps in the road), I feel extra jiggly. I, always, seem to have a big loss within the next couple of days. My losses are never constant. They seem to come in whooshes, and then, nothing for awhile. We'll have to see if it is any different with hHcg. ![]() |

Congrats to all who lost yesterday, it is really nice to have all the different opinions and help that you get here.
I am down another 2.2 pounds this morning so a total of 7 this week. The 1st vlcd my calories were 488 for the day, 2nd vlcd calories were 518 but I had lean hamburger the 2nd day but only had one apple and toast, I know that you are suppose to have 500 calories a day so do you add more veggies or protein to get to the 500 calories? |

Again it's not protocol, but I feel really good with the additional protein. And my losses were not very good with the calories that low. Again, I'd add that I only dropped the fruit/melba because of blood sugar/hunger/candida issues, which most people don't have. |

Yesterday I wasn't hungry but I am sure that it is from the fat in the lean hamburger, the day before it was chicken and I was starving but then again it was the 1st day after loading. I had closer to 2 cups of cabbage but it was only 32 calories, I am keeping track of everything I eat to make sure that I am eating within the calories and also to track how much weight I lose with the different foods. |

Just a quick fly by ladies but wanted to say good morning and report in.
TOM firmly here and I tried some Melba toast - was thinking this AM was going to be a slight gain in the scale. I actually released a half a pound! For what it's worth, I don't eat the apple any more nor chicken. I am one of those who likes fresh, hot food right away and I eat 93% lean hamburger off the George grill. filet mignon and/or 1 egg/egg white. My veggies are raw, just a handful and I allow myself a little extra strawberrie since I skip the apple. Seems to work. I also don't use broth as it makes me retain water. The chicken stalled me. Wierd but true. Anyway...have a wonderful AM - I will be back later after Bible study. |

Well, I ordered more drops. If they get here in time, I might keep going. I'm really struggling to lose. I had an absolute clean day yesterday, and Bernice showed up, and yet I still gained .2. Maybe I didn't have enough water. IDK. I am at 155.5 today. Maybe this is a former set-point, and it is going to take some time.

Good morning!! Sounds like most of you had nice releases!!
I'm pretty happy, I'm down a lb this morning myself. I didn't think I would be, since I lost 1lb the day before, but I'm thrilled!! Stacey-hang in there. Try not to obsess over the scale today. Tomorrow it will be better, but I know how hard it is! Torister- Sorry about the tooth. Hope you heal quickly!!Chouter-I just got my drops yesterday. Took a week to arrive!! I wasn't out yet though, I ordered early in case I want to keep going. We'll see. You're doing great, and if that's a set point you will probably need to whack away at it. Keep thinking positive. I hope you all have a great day. I had a protein shake for dinner last night and am pretty hungry already this morning. I had my coffee, but just had "lunch" and it's only 10:00am. Hope the hunger subsides. I need to dose since I haven't yet this morning.

Morning all! M stayed the same today as she was yesterday, so that is good. She had the Atkins shake for Breakfast, then when I picked her up from school I picked up two bunless Whopper Jrs. for her to eat before her dental appointment. After getting out of there we picked up steak for dinner w/ a side of mushrooms sauteed in butter. We also found some Almond butter (since the peanut butter is out in P3) and she had a large tablespoon of it as a nighttime snack. Peggy thanks again for your help yesterday. Hugs to you on getting that tooth pulled.
Quote:
Cabbage sauteed in Bragg's Amino stuff or Onions sauteed in the Amino was M's two favorite sides. I tended to go a little too heavy on the Amino and it would get salty tasting and then I'd have to add a little water to tune it down some. The salt never slowed her down though.Quote:
She had that tablespoon of Almond butter after dinner and thinking now she did have an Atkins shake before bed so pretty sure she got enough calories in for the day. Congrats to all those in P2 with nice releases and those who maintained in P3.

Sorry to have been MIA for so long!! It has been quite busy for us over here, which is unusual. But I have been reporting in on the do over thread. I have stayed at 121.something since Sat. That is 5 days, 5 days too long for me!, so I am doing an apple day today. I have been at this weight for half my round and need to do something to get it going again. So I will be eating apples and having no water. I have gotten my 2 32 oz water in as well as 2 cups of coffee before the noon hour so I am good to go!! Good thing I like apples. I am looking for a nice whoosh in the AM. Now, to look at what I have missed since this thread started this week. Happy Wednesday everyone!!!!

Just checking in, congrats everyone on your losses so far. Well I've hit the dreaded plateau that the good dr describes, the one where you at one point maintained a certain weight for a long time, I'M THERE. I'm thinking about heading into P3 since I'm no longer losing, and I'm experiencing hunger again. It's day 35 for me of P2 first round which leaves me 8 days of the 43 day protocol, I'm so undecided what to do at this point. Should I stick out the 8 days or just go ahead and move into P3, what do you ladies think?

I am happy to see everyone's progress and look forward to getting to know all of you.
Today is my first day w/drops. And I gotta tell ya~ Those must work fast with the detoxing cause I took them yesterday evening and this morning both followed w/headache. Is that common w/these? I did read that it is okay to take some aspirin so I am gonna do that today. |

4-6 days would constitute an apple day. Have you tried that? ![]() If it's been 4-6 days that you haven't lost anything, I'd do the apple day tomorrow, and finish your 43 day round. BUT...it depends on how YOU feel. If your head is all ready out of it, then...maybe...move on to P3? ![]() |
