Peggy what fantastic losses for one week.

Now that I am back on the protocol train I am down 2.8 this morning. Now I just have to stick to it for the next three weeks and then head into P3 just before my holiday. Its not like protocol is hard for me. I am never hungry and I like the food. I just don't like my temperament. I get crazy for some reason. I get angry really easy. Its almost like 'roid rage'.

Good job!!!!!

Alot of pregnant women get "crazy" sometimes. Maybe, it's the "Phantom fetus" making you feel that way?

Waving hi!

Restarting P2 today...sort of. Forgot and had my normal breakfast!

Oh well, got to get used to my P2 routines again!

I also get quite grumpy on P2. I think even though our bodies aren't sending us active hunger signals...some part of us knows the calorie deficit is happening. I told my DH once that I wasn't starving or hungry, but if he ate those doritos in front of me I might gnaw my own arm off. I know I can really smell foods on P2 like a rat in a maze (and like when I was pregnant).

Any ideas for luring Bernice to come to my house. I can't believe she hasn't stopped by since I started and I sure would love to see her.

Morning
Congrats to everyone making head way.

I was not sure what to expect today as TOM is here but low and behold I dropped a half pound. 8 more to goal.

Will see how tomorrow fairs for me.

I too thought Bernice was Aunt Flo! lol- glad I am in the know! LMAO!

I take capsule magnesium pills, not tablets, but the powder capsule. This solves the problem of Bernice

Thanks, I hope this keeps up as I would like to lose at least 20 pounds for the first round, I have over 60 pounds to lose. I wanted to do a 43 day round for phase 2 but I will see where I am at 23 days and go from there.

I average 20 pounds per round - short rounds. You should have no problem whatsoever - the first round IMO is the best. You'll be amazed at how your body changes

Marking my spot on the new thread!

M is 3.5 lbs below her LDW but no change this morning. I'd really love to see her bounce back into P2 for a while so losing would be a good thing but she is not interested at the moment. She has visions of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas floating in her head. I am quite proud of her for not having cheated not one bit since her first loading day 9/4.

Too funny! M and I laugh and call it bernice here at home now. When I went in to play Pogo one night, there was a person logged on with the name Bernice! Glad they don't associate their name with what we do?

She should not be losing on P3. Could you post a typical menu for her?

Good I will have to do 3 short rounds or if things are still progressing I will try to do a full 43 days to start.

Did you do any longer rounds?

I know, that is why I posted about it a couple of days ago. I post all of her days in the P3 what are you eating today thread. I don't have the last day or do because I haven't been on long enough to.

What's On Your P3 Menu? Post Your Menus Here!

I added the last couple of days.

When I started losing on my long P3 after my first round, I started adding incredible amounts of fat. For example, instead of a tablespoon of butter with my shrimp, I would have 1/2 a stick. Instead of a dab of dressing on my salad, I'd make a serving of avocado dressing with olive oil/lemon. I'd add coconut oil treats.

It was actually really fun seeing how much I could eat.

Thanks Paula! I tell her that. I think she should be eating a lot more but then again I have been happy she was learning portion control with P2 and now we are back to eat more, eat more, KWIM? I know peanut butter is a sticky situation for P3, I think I will go and try to find some almond butter somewhere so she can add that to her menu. She won't eat anything that she had to eat on P2.

I think I went about 29 days one round and then into P3. I always can't wait for P3 but then once I'm there I miss losing. When I started back to work after having baby #3 last August I weighed 227 and now I weigh 176 - so 51 pounds. Not too shabby! I'd like to get down more but my brain and body seem to like it here for now. Maybe I'll do a short round before the holidays. When you complete your 21 dosing days you can always decide if you want to go longer. It doesn't have to be 43 days, with homeopathic you can pretty much go as long or as short as you want - as long as you make it 21 dose days.

Just making my spot for the week. Last night I dropped a much needed pound. Something very odd happens to me. I wake up at about seven. Empty my bladder and weigh myself. I usually get back in the bed for another hour and sleep. Pretty much I usually drop a bit on the scale again. So odd. Does this happen to anyone else? I wonder if it happens on other diets also. I had gotten out of the habit of using a scale for quite awhile. BIG MISTAKE! DE NIAL aint just a river in EGYPT lol. I'm very happy that I am NOT hungry and discovered lean ground beef and cabbage. That's been working for me. I am on day 26 of VCL and 28 since load. When you guy give your day does that include since loading? Just wanna make sure.

Anyone NOT lose their boobs on this? My bras are all way too big. I think I'm headed from 34d to 34c maybe . Any chance that I might get them back in P3? I'm wondering if I will be flat by goal.

Also, is it better to set goal five pounds lower to give yourself wiggle room? I'm reading that the two pound window is a bit difficult to maintain. I'm very very nervous about p3. I have 13 pounds to goal but may lower it five pounds depending on how I look.

Thanks for the help,
Makeup

She's like me!!! In P3 I cannot eat anything I ate in P2 Well, I can eat the eggs (with cheese!), and beef (not lean), chicken (smothered in cheese and sour cream), fatty steak, etc. It's funny cause I won't even look at an apple in P3. I wouldn't worry about her being a little below her LDW - as long as she doesn't keep losing. Some people stabilize a few pounds above or below their LDW. Just keep an eye on it - but I agree, add in some good fats.

FWIW ~ My bra size I believe went from a 42C to a 38C - so I lost around the back width but not the cup size. P3 redistributes your fat and everything gets back to proportion.
