Good night all...and I will check in tomorrow morning with my R1P2 VLCD #1 stats.
I completely understand!! I felt the same exact way!! It works for everyone else, but it won't work for me!! But, it was worth it to give it a good try. And, ya' know what? It works!! Stick to it cleanly. Weigh that food, be careful about seasonings and be ready to be amazed!!

Thanks, Peggy!!!!

Hopefully, like the past couple days of dosing, I won't be hungry. How long did it take you to lose your 2.4lb loading weight?

Well, I'm off to pack my lunch, take a shower, and leave for my very first day of my Internship. Today is full of Very First things.

Well this week has been crazy busy. I have not had a chance to catch up with y'all let alone post daily here. I am sorry. But I have had the apple day 2 days ago and got past my stall. I was at 121.something for 5 days straight. I got past it yesterday, but today have the rebound effect. So I am up but that is OK. This happened on other apple days so it was expected. But so nice not to see 12something on the scale. I have gotten past the stall and that is what matters to me!! Anyhow, I was just informed of a meeting I have to get to at 1PM. So I will again not be around today!! I really hate being this busy--I like my leisurely SAHM time. Oh, well maybe next week. Happy Friday!!! I will check in later though as I don't work tonight. Thank goodness for the little things.

way to go on another 1.2 lbs.

I am down 1 lb this morning so a total of 10 lbs this week, I hope it keeps up with at least a pound a day.

I have to keep track of my water to make sure that I am getting the min amount in.

I wasn't very hungry yesterday except at meal times so I didn't have the melba toast and only had one apple. I think I will buy some strawberries as I am not hungry enough to eat 2 apples a day.

Holy Melba toast Batman!! You are hot! (and I say that in a completely straight way) I read your blog post too and I must say you've done fantastic. Your confidence must be sky high! I see why you didn't "feel" like a personal trainer or an athlete. You definitely look like one now!

What kinds of workouts do you do?

I can only dream of a body like that...

I'm out!
I'm down!
Its over!!!
I cant work, go to school, and stay on 500 cals!! I do good @ work all day ( I have to "brown bad" anything I want to eat) but I dont have time to go home and cook supper before I have to be @ class so we end up eating out 4 nights a week M-Thur.. I just can't do it.... SO I'm going to finish up the shots I have mixed up (they only have a 30 day "shelf life") save the rest til summer or whenever I've not got "so much on my plate" then do it again
(maybe over the summer when school isn't going??) now just trying to decide what plan to follow leaning toward South Beach or WW w/ "good carbs'

Drumroll please ......

1.6 down today! Today is my day 4, usually my biggest loss day and I'm super excited!

I'll also hit virgin weight and hit a below 30 BMI within the next pound, so look out, I'm going to get even more excited!

And as always, congrats to the releasers and to the stallers.

Congrats on another lb! I hope it keeps up for you too, but don't get discouraged if it starts to slow down a little. My average stayed over 1 lb for 11 days, then dropped to .9 for a few days, then .8 for a few days, and so on. As long as your over .5, it's all good!

I strawberries.

I'm glad you broke your stall. I have never done an apple day. It frightens me. I think I'd pass out from lack of protein.

I hope it slows down for you soon!

I bet your loading weight is gone in the first day! You know, it's actually better to stay busy the first few days. Keeps your mind off your belly! You're gonna do great!

Thanks so much for everyone's input on my bad day yesterday! I really appreciate all of your input. The support here is so great.

R2,P2,VLCD #25
Weight on VLCD4#1: 175.8
Yesterday's weight: 162.6
Today's weight: 162.2
# below VLCD #1: -13.6 lbs
# gain/loss from yesterday: -.4 lbs

It's a NEW day. I'm going to forget about yesterday and try to move on and continue. I lost .4 last night. I didn't gain!! It still could catch up with me tomorrow, but I'm going to get my head back in this. The hunger yesterday was really messing with my head. DH brought his drops home yesterday and I'm gonna try those to see if they make a difference. Hopefully they will! I only have 15 days left in this round. I know cycling has worked for lots of folks, but I really just want to finish this round and do a clean, full P3 and P4, maybe even through Christmas. I want this to "fix" me so bad. I don't want to have to worry about my weight for the rest of my life. It's been such a huge issue and problem in my life for too many years. If I can just lost another 7 lbs in the next 15 days, that will put me at 155, firmly in the 150's. I'll be happy with that until after Christmas.

Yesterday's menu:
Breakfast: coffee with stevia
Lunch: round steak and spinach, Melba
Snack: apple and Walden f chocolate
(More snacks throughout the day because my body was screaming for fat-a LOT of cashews, piece of string cheese, 2 big spoonfuls of cream cheese)
Dinner: hamburger patty and asparagus

I skipped the melba and strawberries because I was actually full from the day's indiscretions.

Dawn, nice to see you pop in. You've been missed.

Soonie, sorry you are so busy but if I remember you are back at University bettering yourself. You're plate is really full (so to speak). Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Lost, I thought the same thing. Is this going to work? All you can do is try. I gained a lot more than 2 pounds on loading days and it was gone in two. You can do this. Stick to the protocol and don't tweak and then you can see how it really works. Some people in round 2 start to tweak because they then know what works for them and what doesn't.

I am down .8 this morning so since being back on the wagon I have been down every day this week.

I did lose six more pounds in the next two weeks, but then I went off and ate sugar, not bread and a bit more fat and gained a 2.5 pounds and called it loading. and now in near the end of my week back on drops, I'm down 5lbs for a total of 13, but still have tomorrow to weigh-in for my weekly loss. I hope after the lack of hunger I had today, that it will be a good loss. I cannot eat much fat because I have gallbladder issues and I've taught myself to avoid lots of fat and want to keep it that way.

My daily loss is usually very low as I work at home and sit all day. I haven't been able to do the water aerobics I used to do cuz I had a mole cut off and don't want to get in the water just yet. I'm going to try some elliptical tonight and some free wts.
I've loaded like a champion every single time! I know there is a good reason to load - something about filling your normal fat reserves before the hhcg has time to work. That way the hhcg is getting to your stored fat instead of your normal fat reserves. Of course, after the first week your normal fat is gone too. I'm sure Dr. S explains it better than me! With your gall bladder issues I can understand why you're afraid to eat lots of fat though. We have to do what works best for us!

I'm still very happy with my first P2 and really looking forward to a little break, but SOOO afraid to put any weight back on. I guess we'll all be joining the P3 thread?? You girls have any ideas for meal plans for P3 you like to share? Heres to a successful P3 for US and a continued successful P2 for those still there
I had a very successful P3 after R1, I started and ended at 164 lbs, and rarely went more than a few oz. over that. Never did a correction day. I don't have such high hopes for this next round. If I do the same thing and gain, I guess I will just accept this round didn't work for me in a way that allowed me to stabilize. If so, I'll wait until the right time, then do R3.

In P3, I eat lots of berries and greek yogurt, my favorite meal is either fried eggs with Morningstar sausages, or steak and asparagus. I drank wine, but I doubt I will get away with that this time in P3.

Good luck. I still have a couple of days of drops left, but I am tempted to toss them in the trash and be done.

Thanks for all the nice comments on my B&A's. Until posting them, I didn't realize, the change. I'm not sure I still do. It will take a while. Maybe that's the real reason we need 6 weeks for adjustments! It's for the brain to catch up with the new body image.

Years of working out like an athlete and eating really clean, and NOT looking like it was frustrating and very depressing. Especially when all your friends look the part and don't eat as clean as you.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the comments and support here!
I really DID NOT think it would work!

I won't make that mistake again when I cycle back into P2. But right now, I'm so done with it.
I did so much better the second time loading with fats! It wasn't as much fun, but it really helped. Fage is wonderful, tons of fat! I can't remember off hand what else I ate, but I wasn't hungry at all.

I'm still very happy with my first P2 and really looking forward to a little break, but SOOO afraid to put any weight back on. I guess we'll all be joining the P3 thread?? You girls have any ideas for meal plans for P3 you like to share? Heres to a successful P3 for US and a continued successful P2 for those still there
YAY, more people on P3!
I know how you feel, it's hard to make that decision to move on. Remember my week of uncertainty? It is really hard to keep going when your body doesn't want to!

I have taken my measurements, and before pictures...and the thought keeps crossing my mind that I won't be so lucky to have something work so wonderfully for me. I hope that it does, and I am going to give it my BEST shot...but nothing ever seems to work out great, very easily, for me. Hopefully, this won't be the case here.

Good night all...and I will check in tomorrow morning with my R1P2 VLCD #1 stats.
Oh, I so thought it wouldn't work for me. As a matter of fact, I did it to prove it wrong! When I read the first days of my blog, I crack up now.
It will work for you, just read and post here as much as you can and follow Protocol exactly, you WILL get there!

I have to keep track of my water to make sure that I am getting the min amount in.

I wasn't very hungry yesterday except at meal times so I didn't have the melba toast and only had one apple. I think I will buy some strawberries as I am not hungry enough to eat 2 apples a day.
WOW! That is great!!!

What kinds of workouts do you do?

I can only dream of a body like that...

Before starting Protocol I was training for triathlons, so my workout consists of swim, bike, run, and repeat!
I can't wait to train in TWO more weeks! Now I will actually look like I workout!

Welcome to virgin territory!!! HOW EXCITING!! That is a huge release!

I skipped the melba and strawberries because I was actually full from the day's indiscretions.
Hang in there, you have done so well. It is really hard mentally towards the end, just look at your B&A pictures, post here and try on your "old" clothes!

Yesterday's menu:
Breakfast: coffee with stevia
Lunch: round steak and spinach, Melba
Snack: apple and Walden f chocolate
(More snacks throughout the day because my body was screaming for fat-a LOT of cashews, piece of string cheese, 2 big spoonfuls of cream cheese)
Dinner: hamburger patty and asparagus

I skipped the melba and strawberries because I was actually full from the day's indiscretions.
It is good to see you had a loss, it may not seem like alot but every little bit counts.

How long are you doing the P2 this time?

Good for you! I wish I could decide. Still have a couple of days of drops, but my head and heart aren't in it right now. I am not losing, and have had several days of clean P2 eating, but still not losing. I took my drops this morning, because I hate to waste them, but then I had cream in my coffee.

Just undecided, unmotivated, us-everything. And yet, I am not unhappy with my losses this round. I am still better off now than when I started. Gonna stay positive no matter what I decide to do.

Good luck, you're doing great!

Thanks! I'm not happy with my losses either. At this point in round 1, I had lost 17 lbs. This time I'm at 13. I have to remind myself that it IS going to slow down because I don't have as much to lose as I did the first time. My average per day is still over .5 (it's .6), so that's good. I'm gonna just try to be happy with any losses! Anything's better than my losses with every other "diet".

:blushI have cream in my coffee every morning)
