I am down 1.2 pounds this morning for a total of 8.2 pounds this week.

I didn't have my last apple or Melba toast last night but I started to get hungry just before I was going to bed should I have eaten the apple?

I guess I was scared that it would affect my weight loss, you know the old saying of not eating before bed, next time I will eat it.

I am divorced...after a long marriage, go to college full-time, work, and my "baby" just turned 18...and thinks that he doesn't need rules now (he's an adult) . I just found out that I start my Internship hours tomorrow...on top of all of this other cr*p. I know that they say that stress, and diet, do not mix. So, I will be a good candidate for watching my losses, as my life is nothing BUT stress!!!!

There will be some days, within the next month, that I will need to take both of my meals with me...as this Internship is just one more thing to do. So, it has to be added in somewhere!?! I need to complete 160 hours, and I need to get it done before December. So, I may not be on here much, but will...atleast...post every morning; and, maybe, if my homework is done...late at night too.

Thanks for answering all of my questions.
This diet is really good for teaching you to deal with stress without going to food. I always told myself I would gain 10 lbs if I "cheated". It worked until my second round.
My schedule was soo busy during my P2. I spent a lot of money on Thermos's and food storage containers. I had to make all my meals in the morning for the day, and my families. It was hard in that aspect, but easy in the fact that you just eat what you bring, so it's easy to not eat off Protocol. And you won't have to make meals for anyone else, so that good.

Have you been skipping one shot per week (recommended to prevent immunity for the long rounds)?

I have done two 42 day rounds of rX hCG (currently R2P3D15). The last week is a little tough mentally. I wasn't really craving food - I was just tired of it and getting tired physically. After a long round, I would really recommend doing a full P3 and P4. I think your body really does need the rest. Also, if you are flirting with immunity now, you may need the longer break so that you can make it through the next round w/o the immunity factor hitting you again. BTW, I sooooo wanted to get back to losing weight but the six weeks of P3/P4 flew by. Aaaand, P4 for Thanksgiving?

So you know my perspective, I have other health concerns, am doing this through my regular doctor. He won't let me go longer on the rounds or shorter on the breaks - says it's very stressful on the body. I am coming back from very poor health and am not comfortable with doing anything to mess myself up again. My advice is definitely tainted with fear of going back "there". That said, I have not felt this good in 4 years. Yay me!
Kim no I didn't skip and that was probably not a good thing. I've decided to move on to P3, I was actually up .4 on the scales today so It's time to move on into mantainence. I really appreciate your advice and it makes it all that sweeter that its coming from someone who not only been there done that but is under a MD care. I happy your health has improved you feel great, I also haven't felt this good in a long time, nice to have my energy back and my girls are loving that I now spend my days off running them around haha.

So now I'll be moving over to the P3 thread, but I'll be checking in to see how everyone's progressing. Thanks so much for your input its greatly appreciated

Don't worry about it - you need to load. It will come back off in no time! If you don't load correctly you may experience very bad hunger your first week of vlcd's.

I am scared to do another but will enjoy it knowing that its going to be a strict 23 days afterwords. I might plan to take the two days off of the drops and do the 500cal till they are out of my system for Thanksgiving.
Are any of you planning on eating at Thanksgiving?

I think its going to work out I have 35 days..

Wow, you are doing so well. What round and week is this for you?

I dropped .2lbs today, but it's a loss, so I'm pleased. I only dropped .1 yesterday, but overall the week is good compared to other diets I've done, but I'd like it more per day when I see what others are losing.

I need to add more walking to my days.

R2P2VLCD3. I'm down another lb. for a 7.6 lb total release in 3 days. I'm happy because this is much faster than my other round, but I think this is more an indication of how badly I pigged out on vacation.

5 lbs left to get to my LDW. I think this weight, + or - 5 lbs., is a set point weight for me. It seems to be really tough to get past it. I'm hoping this round does the trick.

Con grad's w/your losses! It's giving me hope.

I figure I'll atleast be able to have a spinach salad w/some toppings and turkey. For Thanksgiving....
I would much rather be able to feel comfortable in a swim suit next summer.

Okay...so, I just got back from the store, and the son doesn't have school for the rest of the week (I swear that they have so many holidays from school now-a-days), and he's asking me this, and asking me that. Finally, I looked at him...and said: "Leave me alone...I'm Loading!!!!"
Anyways, while I was at the store, I decided that I should probably add spinach in there too some where, as what I planned on eating didn't really have anything green in there. I looked for chicken broth with the lowest sodium content, and no sugar or starch...and got some. To be honest with ya' though...I'm afraid to use it. Sodium, and I, do not get along very well...even though I LOVE it. So, might end up eating the spinach by itself; with a little apple cidar vinegar (with the mother) and the juice of one lemon. All that I do know is: that I HATE dry salads...so, not quite sure how I'll eat it yet.

Also, since I'm not seeming to gain weight...I bought some more loading food. I bought some things that I REALLY love, but they taste awful!!!! YUCK!!! Do tastebuds change? I haven't had some of these things in awhile, and I thought that I would really enjoy them...I'm not. It's as though I am force feeding myself with EVERYTHING...as I am not really hungry at all....and everything tastes gross. This will be fine if it continues; starting tomorrow!!!!

So, are you losing virgin weight yet, or still loading weight? I want to lose, atleast, 22 pounds of virgin weight in P2....even if it requires the longer round of P2.

Have fun on your last loading day. I feel the same about the the chicken broth, I bought some organic chicken broth made sure it didn't have any added sugar or anything but I still haven't used it.

I have lost 4.8 pounds of virgin fat and 9 pounds from the highest load day.

I want to lose at least 20 pounds in the first round, I will do the 23 days to start and see where I am at then decide from there.

From Pounds and Inches:

Quote:
It is usually at this point that a difference appears between those patients who have literally eaten to capacity during the first two days of treatment and those who have not. The former feel remarkably well; they have no hunger, nor do they feel tempted when others eat normally at the same table. They feel lighter, more clear-headed and notice a desire to move quite contrary to their previous lethargy. Those who have disregarded the advice to eat to capacity continue to have minor discomforts and do not have the same euphoric sense of well-being until about a week later. It seems that their normal fat reserves require that much more time before they are fully stocked.

I cook my spinach up with some Bragg's aminos, lemon juice and garlic. MMMM.

I made a salad dressing last night that wasn't too bad. I got some great lettuce at a farmer's market (so sad; they're all done now around here for the season) and made a dressing out of some spicy brown mustard, dill flavored mustard, white wine vinegar and a little garlic powder. You can add a little splenda too if you are OK with using it.

I stalled completely my last full week (3rd) of P2. I took a break/interruption for 11 days of P3. I wasn't planning to head back to P2, but struggled in P3 and decided to go back to P2 for a bit and see if I could lose again. I'm losing pretty well right now and much happier. I will probably stick with P2 until I stall again, then cycle back and forth. Depending on holidays etc. I like the flexibility of it. Good luck!

I gained 5lbs in my load days. I was still hungry though, which really upset me. I had more carbs though. Do your best, you'll be on VLC soon enough!

I'm doing well. Lost another 1.2lbs overnight. Very pleased with this "cycle" and my return to P2. I like the way the "interruption" helped me get my head in the game again, and also seems to have jumpstarted my losses. I'm not stictly following protocol this time around either, and seem to be more content with it overall. You all are doing great!! KUTGW!!

I made a salad dressing last night that wasn't too bad. I got some great lettuce at a farmer's market (so sad; they're all done now around here for the season) and made a dressing out of some spicy brown mustard, dill flavored mustard, white wine vinegar and a little garlic powder. You can add a little splenda too if you are OK with using it.
my favorite "honey-mustard" dressing
(tastes like honeymustard MCD chicken nugget dip)
SF pancake syrup
and spicy brown mustard
I take a nearly empty mustard bottle add about 1/2 the bottle of SF syrup
and shake it up sooo goooood!! :P (licken lips smiley)

Your fat is re-arranging already?

Your 3 pound gain will disappear quickly!!! Just watch, and see.

In an attempt to gain, and load properly, yesterday I added more VCO to my diet. BOY....was that a mistake!!!!! Bernice won't leave me alone. She keeps antagonizing me ALL day long today. I'll, probably, be wishing to see her ugly face in a few days, but I got some Smooth Move tea to help out with that...when need be.
