Good luck to you Torister and Jan. You will do fabulous.

I am down .8 this morning. I am doing well this round if I do say so. My daily losses have been 2.23. Last night I almost bought a package of sf chocolates. I had them in my hand and asked myself what will be better these chocolates or what the numbers say on the scale tomorrow. So needless to say I put them back. Boy am I glad.
Congrats on the loss! Good job staying away from those sf chocolates.

I haven't checked in for a few days but happy to report that I have lost another 1.6 lbs. That brings me to 147, just two pounds away from my mini goal for this round. I will be on the drops through wed and then thurs and fri will be my two day vlc w/o the drops.

I am so looking forward to starting p3 on Saturday because even though I'm not hungry, I am getting really bored with p2 foods. I am looking forward to having some salad dressing, and cheese. The hard part will be adding things back in slowly.
Congrats on the loss. I hope you get some more nice releases before starting P3.

Good luck with your stabalizing. Yesterday was M's first day on P3. She is sleeping in this morning so hasn't weighed in to see how today's weight is.

Good morning All:::.... There was no change in weight today... I'm still at 248.2 but I'm more calm about it then the 1st time I didn't see the scale move....

I think my problem is that I'm not eating enough??? Yesterday I had and apple about 80-oz of water and salad with chicken breast and snack was an apple... I think I ate about 350-calories instead of the 500... maybe that is what slowing my losses down.. what do you all think?

Anyways... tomorrow is the beginning of week-3... I'm going to plan my menu for the next 3-days and eat 500-exactly... (only protocol foods) and see if I can get the weight to start falling off continuously next week.

Hope everyone is losing. Talk to you all later.

I Have.... and believe you me.. I know it is very discouraging... but I think I figured out my problem... I don't think I'm eating enough... sometimes my mind thinks it knows better then the protocol... and I started cutting back on the calories (as if 500 is too much ) but I want to lose weight so desperately that I think I'm helping by lowering my calories....

From Tuesday til Friday I didn't have any loss and on Friday I had a slight gain of .6... so Friday I decided to do protocol strictly by the book.. and bam... I had a 1.8-lbs. loss.. And then I turned to my old habit again yesterday (eating below 500-calroies) and bam no movement on the scale today...

Make sure you're eating all the required protein, vegie and fruit that Dr. Simeon's recommended... and DRINK AND DRINK ALL THE WATER YOU CAN.. AT LEAST 100-OZ. a day...

Don't give up.. JUST RE-COMMITT.. AND KEEP IT MOVING.

My daughter had a few times of no weight loss for two or three days and then boom a nice release. Remember the hcg is removing inches even when it is not showing on the scale. Don't get discouraged!

Are you posting your menu in the P2 what are you eating today. If not consider it. I would post my daughter's menu for the day before and then put in whether she had a loss or not. Number one if someone sees something off protocal they will say something and number two by doing it for the day before like I did and putting what you loss under it you can keep track of what stalls you and what doesn't. Stay with this group, they are very friendly and helpful!

Stacey! WOOT! Congrats on the 30 pound club!

Chouter
, way to go! Nice loss and congrats on the new decade!

Thin, way to go! I'm with you, sick of P2 foods, but I'm almost done. I can make it!

PMartin, way to go! WOOT! Definitely make sure you at the very least get all your protein in. That will slow you.

Peggy, welcome back to P2! You did so great in P4!

So, my rogue experiment backfired. Had 1Tbsp of cream in my coffee on Friday. I was up 0.4 on Saturday, back down today.

I'm going to dose through Wednesday morning and then do my 2 doseless days. I have to be ready to travel next week for my new job and I'd like to have a glass of wine over the weekend.

I'm really happy with my size right now, regardless of the number on the scale. I will be ecstatic if I can reach a new decade.

Weighed 130.0 down .8 SO close to a new decade!! Tomorrow is the day!
Two weeks down on VLCD, 1 to go and it can not happen soon enough! My schedule is so busy and I'm so tired of making all my meals in the morning and eating my meals in the car while everyone else eats yummy food. Yesterday, I watched them eat donuts and kolaches, which normally doesn't tempt me, but I was STARVING.
Today we went for a drive to the country and stopped at the best BBQ in TX. Oh man! It was sooo tempting. I sat in the car and ate my taco soup.
This week, more football games and practice, girls night out, and camping. UGHHH.
I hope I can make it through this week.
Todays menu.

B-fast - Coffee
Lunch - Taco Soup, Grissini and Apple
Dinner - Grilled Chicken & Spinach
Dessert - Strawberry-Chocolate Sorbet (My new favorite "cheat")

Enjoying my first loading day. Had a yummy full fat home made (by me) lasagna. I am stuffed and hubby loved it. Good thing...I made a TON of it and he will be eating it off and on over the next 3 weeks or so that I am on VLCD. If I have room...there is ice cream for dessert.

Wow what willpower to sit in the car outside of a bbq joint. I don't know if I could have done it.

I am down another pound this morning. This morning its going to be a challenge because I am going out for breakie with my parents. I hope that the restaurant has egg whites. I don't know what I will do. Maybe just order coffee and claim I am not hungry? I have been doing well this weekend turning down four invitations to dinners and parties but I miss not going out.

In Pounds & Inches this is discussed. It's not considered a true stall until you go 5 days at the same weight. You have to remember that you are losing pounds AND INCHES!!!! Don't get discouraged, just keep following protocol and it will come off. Would you like to post what your typical menus are?

TOM has kicked me out of the 30 lb club. Uuuuuuuuggg. Up 1.2 today.

I had no imagination or creativity with my food yesterday. I'm also very grumpy.

Oh, AND, I had to cook Oatmeal raisin cookies (my favorite) for my daughter's brownie bridging. Not fun. I thought about those damn cookies all day and how good they would taste. I didn't even have one bite. I don't know how I resisted. I wanted one so bad.

Great job on resisting! It's so hard some days! I made my kids french toast/sausage twice yesterday (they wanted breakfast all day lol) and it smelled soooo good! But it felt even better later to know I resisted. (ignoring the fact I did give in to caramel corn over the weekend  )

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Good morning!! I have decided to do a bit more P2 this morning. P3 has been fun, but my body is really sensitive and gaining easily (every time I eat out!!) so I decided if I'm going to work at resetting my metabolism to a new weight, I wanted that weight to be lower. So, I'm back, and hoping to add 2 more weeks onto my R1. I have been on P3 for 10-11 days so I hope that's still considered an interruption. I'll be going camping this weekend, and decided I'll just have to pack little burgers to cook over the campfire and muddle through. I'd like to be securely in P3 again by mid-Nov. when our friends arrive and we play for a few weeks and Thanksgiving.

I'll go back and read. How are the "cyclers" doing? I've seen Catz and CAtri doing well.

Off to drink some water

Good for you for jumping back into P2. I'd love to see M do that too but she is not interested at the moment. Her weight has stopped dropping today, so maybe it will stabalize at this point. Good luck, I hope you get some good releases!

I'm on round 1 and have been the same (+/- .2) since Friday, so that is 5 days today. I weighed 159.9 on Friday morning and am at 159.8 this morning. I"m a little down about it but not giving up. I can do this for 3 weeks- or so I keep telling myself. Hoping for a big whoosh soon...

I just posted how I do taco soup in the other thread :

Taco soup? I just put a cup of chicken broth, 400 g of chicken breast, 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1 can of green chilis and a bunch of seasonings (2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tbsp cumin, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tsp paprika) in a pot and add enough water to cover everything and cook for at least 30 minutes. Makes 4 servings. Freezes nicely. You can add diced onion if you're okay with that. Yummy!

Yes, that's normal! Be patient and don't stress. It will come off. Your body likes having fat and is fighting you, but it will release it if you persist!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Hey there!! I'm back on P2 for another 2 weeks (or until I run out of drops). I was up to 171.8 on Sunday morning, and very upset about it. It's been really hard "stabilizing" in P3, so I decided to consider that an interruption and try to get back to losing some more before Tgiving is near.

I'm back down to LDWish today, +0.2, but I'll take it!! I would love to work all the way down to 159lbs in this (hopefully) 2 week return, but that remains to be seen. I'm happy now, not hungry, feeling good. We'll see how the scale goes the next few days. I will be away camping this weekend so wont' be able to weigh. I have a small steak I'll bring, and maybe a little burger. I need to stick to the plan through the weekend. I may do the cottage cheese thing for lunch Sat. since that will travel well. Anyone else have camping suggestions?

KUTGW!! Wearing smaller jeans today, size 10's!, and feeling great!!

Hi Julie- I went to a friend's cabin (I know it's not camping) and I just measured out cottage cheese and chopped up a bunch of peppers and onions for 1 meal. Steak for another meal. I did cucumbers and tomatoes for veggies. Oh, and I measured, seasoned & precooked some chicken before I left and ate it cold w/chopped up apples. You could even have the egg portion cooked in coconut oil. Camping is actually really easy on P2 IF you plan ahead. Have a great time.
