Mornin Deb and Kandi! I'm still muddling around with what to do. Have you guys ever read the Liberation Diet? Yeah, I know, ANOTHER DIET!! To bottom line it, it's basically a HEALTHY low carb. Had three 'health alerts' in the last two weeks and I am considering them a 'wake up call' to get back to HEALTH as a priority. And for me, HEALTH includes FAT/OIL!

So I have to decide if I want to go Liberation Low Carb with the hHCG or do the LLC for a month, then MY hHCG for a month and just rotate them like that. Less 'P2 Time' means I'll be able to eat more fats and oils. Right now I'm just glad to be out of P2, even though in two days I've GAINED TWO POUNDS. No clue why, except perhaps didn't do the P3/4 at all or didn't do them long enough in my first three rounds to get 'reset'.

We are really 'winging it' here trusting all the info we read and hear about 'resetting the hypothalamus' and other things, like the 'abnormal fat burning' theory.

I have more to say on this but this email is already too long. Haven't even sipped my morning coffee here yet, but give me an hour or so when my brain wakes up and I'll post something else I've been considering. Betcha can hardly wait, eh? LOL

I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!! Seriously, I love hearing ideas and what can work or is working for others.. are you still taking the HHCG now? I was just wondering because you said you had gained 2 pounds.

I also gained 2 pounds right away when I went off the juice and into P3. I thought OH BOY here we go! When I upped my cals and added things back in then I went back down.. makes no logical sense, but this is not logic I guess...

Anyway, I am interested to see what you are doing, and how it is treating you. I agree HEALTH comes first!!!! I have never heard of the diet you are looking at so would love to hear what it is... drink that coffee though first!!!...

Hello ladies...i found you I am starting my experiment today. I am dosing through phase 3 and plan on cycling calories until I remove all of my weight. I am up 1.5 lbs today so I will take the 24 lb loss for my first round 1 Phase 2. Now, I'm going to go on the some what unbeaten path. I do not want to stop losing weight so I will continue to take my drops indefinitely even to my death bed if they make me feel better lol! I will post my findings here. Good luck fellow rebels!!

Wonderful plan for you!!!! I love seeing the rebels and what they come up with! Please let us know how you are doing! Good, bad, and in between...

Hey there I just happened to check "over here" in Other Plans. Haven't been here in a while. Glad I found you all! I haven't read through the whole thread yet but wanted to join in this rebellious group! My tweak to hhcg this cycle is dropping the fruit (not a big fruit person) and melba and eating all LC vegies in any quantity and combination. I did my first round (23 days) by the book and lost 13 lbs. Not bad, but I really like not worrying about my vegies! So I still keep to 500 cals, don't really measure, but pretty sure I don't exceed 250 cals of LC vegies in a day (other 250 cals come from my meats). I eat my 2 servings of protein (by the book) and all the LC vegies I want in the form of soups, raw and cooked w/ meals. In 8 days of doing this I have dropped 6 lbs. The last few days I have gone up and down 1 lb. so we'll see if this will work for me.

BTW-I did round 1(by the book), then P3 for 10 days, now P2 (my way) for 13days, then P3 for 7 days, then P2 (my way) for 14 days. I plan to cycle to goal so I don't have to load and to make me happier!!

Okay, off to read what everyone else is doing to tweak their way to great losses!

So glad you are here!! I love your tweaking, very low carb, and very low cal. This should work awesome! Looks like it already has! ... I love that you are doing what works for your body and nobody can tell you it is not correct.

That is why we are REBELS! we don't listen to what we SHOULD DO..... we do what works for our individual selves... and if after trying for awhile it does not satisfy us.. we are allowed to change our minds!!.. AMAZING FREEDOM!!... no rules except your own.... and you can even argue with yourself if you want to...

Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing!

Okie dokie, got my yummy coffee down and am awake now. I think. I stopped the juice on Thursday, two days before officially starting P3 TODAY, as per the hHCG protocol. I say officially because I started eating more like P3 on Thursday! Heh.

Anyhow, from what I recall from Pounds & Inches and from what I've read all over the internet, the hcg was 'discovered' and THEN the 'diet' was built FROM there or AROUND THE HCG. First the hcg, THEN the diet. WHY? Basically the diet portion is very low cal [doh] and therefore, fairly low carb [depending on the fruit & veggies you eat] so it is a good plan to START WITH.

If I was to build a good 'health' [I still hate the word diet!] plan for myself [this is just MY opinion here based on research and experience], it would be low carb, medium protein, high fat/oil. It would be the most wholesome, highest quality, foods possible ... organic, free range, grass fed, some raw, etc. That would be the GOAL.

So let's say this is my goal ... why couldn't the hHCG be a TOOL to help me with my goal? Why does the juice have to be the center of attention instead of the diet? Why can't the juice be ONE of MANY aspects to achieve health [which includes weight loss for sure!], like exercise/activity, pure clean water, sunshine, supplements, good deep sleep, positive attitude, etc.? Why can't the juice just be a 'fat burner' that I take along with all the other things I would do for my health and weight loss?

Does this make any sense? I guess I'm CHANGING THE PERSPECTIVE more than anything and the FOCUS from the juice to the nutrition/health.

It makes complete sense to me, and basically that is how I am using it!. Anxious to see how this works for you when you get your plan tweaked to your preferences and goals... sounds GREAT!!!

Ok cool then ... was worried I was off the deep end. Well, I AM off the deep end, but was worried this idea was off the deep end too!! Then again, we trailblazers don't have any ends too deep right?

I weighed 216 this morning. I feel like I need some sort of "plan" to stick to but I don't want a plan... make sense? I am just winging it. I know sometime in the near future, I plan on doing a load and then another official P2 for as long as I can stick to it. It may be a week, it may be 2 weeks... Then come back to P3 rogue style. I am still afraid to eat carby foods while dosing and doing LC.

Happy Saturday Morning Rebels

So I am starting to see a trend (personally) in this....There definitely is something to dosing and eating more food cuz dagnabit it's working!

Yesterday's meals:

Huge coffee mug with HWC and splenda
Our boss bought us pizza for lunch but he knows I'm lowcarbing so I order buffalo wings with ranch. I also ate the toppings to one slice of pizza.
That topping made me crave pizza so I made myself a low carb one with a lc tortilla added a ton of mozzarella, pizza sauce and pepperoni
Another huge mug of coffee with HWC and splenda
And my mother in law came to our house to make Puerto Rican pasteles. They have pork in the middle. I asked her for a bowl of the chopped up pork (it was delish!!!).

I woke up this morning to a 1 lb loss! I am going into territory I have not seen in YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paint me one happy camper

I feel the same way! I don't want to "PLAN"...Like you, right now I am winging it. I'm just dosing and eating LC...Eventually I will go to the cycling carbs/cals low/high but I am soooooo not ready

I'm doing pretty much the same thing right now. I just call it P3 because that's what I'm used to calling it, but it's really more like Atkins Induction, plus more. I want to stay low carb cause it works GREAT for me, but I do want to try the switching of calorie intake too. The big question is ... should I do this on the hHCG juice or off it?

P2 and P3 refer to phases of Dr Simeons Protocol from 50 some years ago. You can google it if you want to know more about it. I am taking the homeopathic HCG which you do NOT have to take breaks from, but some do.

The RX HCG needs a prescription from a doctor and that you CAN become immune to, so breaks are taken. I can't answer questions on that because I don't use it and never have.

The homeopathic HCG is what we are calling the drops or the juice. It comes in a 1 oz or 2oz bottle, or even 4 oz is what I am using now. THIS IS MY OPINION OF COURSE, but it is a fat burner and an appetite suppressant for ME! Some may not agree, but for ME it has this function that nothing ever has done for me before.

I use it with my calorie cycling and as my experiment has evolved, I have noticed a definate fat burning when I DO vary my calories. I think for ME, that sticking to 500 cals everyday my body just got used to that and would not release any more fat until I switched things up. When I did that, the fat started melting off again. Kind of like the JUDDDD plan.. it makes sense.

This just gives me the ability to add carbs and eat what I want on the higher cal days and not pay for it the next day with hunger, or a weight gain. In fact I usually have a loss of some sort after a higher cal day. With low carb alone, that did not happen.

Everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to eat, but I wanted to be able to eat low carb most of the time, but also have fruit, and a treat now and then without having a gain.

Someone else can jump in and let you know why THEY like using the HHCG!

If you think about it, when is it when we seem to have the biggest drop in weight/fat? The days RIGHT AFTER THE TWO DAY LOADING! So cycling UP and DOWN in calories makes perfect sense to me!

I just need to figure out FOR ME how I'm going to do that ... if I'm going to follow the plan as given in that post or just make up my own ... you know, what works FOR ME! What a concept eh? Like maybe high cal on weekends and Wednesdays, low cal the other days ... gotta work on it. Right now I am just enjoying eating FREEDOM!!!

Thanks so much for the answer, Debbie-What I sent for was homeopathic, I think. Must be, it was OTC. When you lose so much weight so fast, do you get hangy down skin, or does the magic drops keep it tightened up, too? I really like the calorie cycling, yes, I have enjoyed the JUDDD calorie cycling, I lost 30 lbs last summer doing that, in just about 10 weeks, then slowed down to about a pound a week, which was fine....then got lost and gained back about 10, but that is gone again, now , that I am back on track again. I like the 500 calorie days because I don't like to cook. lol. Also don't like to think about food too much on those days, either. I stay pretty lowcarb all the time because I feel better that way, just personal. Guess with calorie cycling it is up to the person doing it. Thanks for the info.

JUDDD is a "Dr Johnson UP DAY DOWN DAY DIET" There are some threads that explain it better on this site, quoting from his book. Basically, you eat 500 cals, even up to 1/2 of your normal calories, on alternating days-other days you eat your regular calories, which for me is about 2000 calories. Good health benefits from this alternate fasting, too, some good research on the benefits of eating less, every other day protects the metabolism from slowing down. I really would like to get some of this weight off for a lot of health reasons, mostly my legs and joints would be much happier, so want to try combining with the drops, you all are doing so well.
I don't think I could just eat 500 calories daily for a whole month, I am such a wimp, I know I'd cave in-so was really happy to find you rebels.

I have lost quite a bit since July, and my skin is not hanging anywhere... well not any more than it would normally do at my age...

You have done very well! I hope get the results you are looking for, I know it does for me! Magic Drops... Kinda!

So I am starting to see a trend (personally) in this....There definitely is something to dosing and eating more food cuz dagnabit it's working!

I woke up this morning to a 1 lb loss! I am going into territory I have not seen in YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paint me one happy camper

Ok... so I am washing my old "skinny" clothes.. decided to try on 2 pairs of jeans. Size 16. Both got up and zipped.. one (the Lane bryant brand) fits pretty darn well.. I could pull them off..The other brand is Levi's.. I am really excited that these got up AND zipped w/out me laying on the bed. They are still a little too tight for me to wear in public, but for not being a "fat" brand, it totally rocks!!

Im soooo happy for you! Isn't it the best feeling ever?!?!?

For me, not having to shop in the plus sizes made me extremely estatic!!!!

Again, I AM SOOOOOO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!! Those will be loose on you in no time and you'll be going to the next size down before you know it
