Omg I didn't even know this thread existed but I love it. I think you guys are hilarious! I haven't gone rogue yet but I'd love to if it means I can have coffee with cream and still lose!!!!!

I use the HCG spray and it says no coffee. Blah! I can skip the food with ease but giving up coffee with heavy cream is torture. Are any of you using my fat cure?

I don't but I can't imagine why that would be much different than any other HHCG drops. Why is it special enough that it does not allow coffee?... I'm really only asking myself that question, because I am sure nobody really knows...

I will say that I have had coffee WITH cream and I have had coffee without cream, also NO COFFEE some days during my P2, and it made no difference at all... so up to you! I personally love my creamy coffee!!...

By the way, WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!!

Hahaha! I actually ask myself that same question "what's so special about THIS brand of hhcg that makes coffee equal to voldemort?" as I belligerently skip my coffee and make everyone around me miserable.

I'm definitely going to add it back into my diet. And I think on some days I'll allow myself a whole piece of chicken instead of just a quarter of a piece.

I asked this on the main hcg forum, too:

Does the body ever build up an immunity to hhcg, or, theoretically speaking, could one stay on it forever?

My understanding is that we do not build up an immunity to hhcg. Any experts out there?

Right, because I'm choosing to do it that way!

With regard to testosterone and rX/homeo, I don't know. Wanted to add that estrogen is also being released (from fat stores) in high amounts. Have not been tested for estrogen while on hCG so cannot document.

Exactly! It is all about choices... and that is awesome...

I knew about the estrogen in fat being released, but sure did not know about the testosterone, I think that is very interesting.

Since one of the things we each have is knowledge about the unique and very individual ways our bodies and metabolisms respond, this seems to be a sane and sensible approach.

A bit about me: I'm 54, female, and a recent convert to running. I walked a half-marathon in September and plan to run most of one in February (I'll take walking breaks). I'm not fast by any means, but my endurance is great, so I think I've found my niche. I've been on WW on and off for about 10 years and plan to work as a leader once I am at goal. I have 1-2 plateaus to burst through, and HCG will help me with maintaining and hopefully reshaping my apple-y midsection. I will not have a tummy tuck, because I don't think it's necessary surgery, so this is my best hope.

There is an HCG physician center that has a website that clearly states that you can't build an immunity to HCG. My first round I went to 60 days. I stalled around the 40th day and pushed through by day 45 I started losing at a .5/.8lb rate.

Now you've got me thinking about picking up a roasting chicken for my LC "splurge" day on Wed. Hopefully, I won't be tempted to eat the whole thing

I`m shaking things up a bit this week...This am I ate <gasp> breakfast!!! I had an egg! and a slice of Ezekiel bread... a bit of a twist on the 600 cal diet that was posted. I`m tracking my calories and will keep close to the 600.
I feel like I should put a white t-shirt on and roll a pack of cigarettes up in the sleeves ala James Dean <g>

The reason I started thinking about the testosterone thing is because he quit taking injections about 6 months ago and started taking a supplement that is supposed to "unbind" the bound up testosterone. So we were laying in bed the other night and I was totally mad and frustrated about the 500 calories a day thing and I just totally yelled at him and told him that it wasn't fair that he is still eating as much junk and drinking all the full sugar soda as he always has and he is losing weight....and he said to me that he thought it was the "blue pill" (the supplement he takes is blue). So that is what got me started looking around the internet at testosterone deficiency and that led to other possibilities as well. Anyway, I am just going to stick with what I am doing and see where it gets me.

Makes sense, and men do have it much easier usually anyway. Add in more testosterone, and it's not fair.. Good luck with your plan Susan!

OK, I read this whole thread and the journal thread. I want to see if I have this correct. Using hHCG and doing low glycemic veggies, fruits and lean meats. Do not worry about 500 calories you can go higher. Is that correct?

Do you need the first 2 load days still? I have been on Atkins for 6 months and lost 25 pounds but have stalled out the past month or so even though ketostix are medium. I normally do <20 carbs a day.

This intrigues me.

I really like the idea of doing weight watchers with HHCG. I will definitely check in on you. You should think about doing a journal. I need to keep up with mine, but with a five month old; time on the computer is limited. I am glad you found a place to be naughty

I think everyone is doing what works for them personally. I think what you have posted here would work fine. This is why I called it my experiment, because it took a while to find what would work for my body. I also had stopped losing on Atkins.

Sounds like you have done wonderful so far! A month stall is depressing though, so I sure understand you looking at options. I'm sure others will chime in, but I want to say good luck to you on whatever you choose to do!!

I personally believe HHCG will help with most any plan, as long as we have some discipline. I would love to eat as much as I could, take the drops and lose the pounds, but it just won't happen for me.. so I chose calorie cycling.. some days very low, some mid, and one or two, high! ( weekends...lol ) I believe it will keep the body guessing and allow me to lose more than I would on straight 500 cal/days. That and I cannot stick to that small amount of food for very long.. Again, My Opinion only.
