Bottled hot sauce & garlic cloves
I love chipotle hot sauce & Franks Hot sauce. There is no sugar. Are these allowed on P2?
How about garlic cloves? |

I use garlic cloves, minced all the time. Many use the hot sauce. I think it's mostly vinegar and ground peppers, right? Should be fine. Anything with sugar or fat is not an option, and personally I stay away from anything with artificial sweeteners in it, except for sweet-n-low in my tea
![]() Getting excited? I'm looking forward to your losses!! So much fun to get on that scale!! |

Thanks Julie!
I am getting super excited...and thanks for sharing the details. I am ready to move forward. I just cooked my chicken in the crock pot ( I weighed them out first, cut them in appropriate pieces) and also baked some chicken up. Hot sauce and garlic are so tastey so that is a relief! |

I didn't even think to have hot sauce during P2. Thanks for asking about that now I can enjoy some my last week. I'll have to check the store to make sure no hidden sugars are in it.

I love garlic and plan on using it on most of my protein. I use the small jars of garlic that are already chopped up (you can normally find these in the produce section of the store)--they are so convenient. Some of them have olive oil in them, so you have to watch that. I just checked and the one I have now is just garlic, water, and citric acid.
I love that we can use spices and seasonings (without sugar, of course)! Not much worse than a piece of bland lean meat. |
