Anyone else starting next week?

I ordered my drops online last night with overnight delivery. I'm hoping to receive them by Saturday so I can start my loading/drops on Saturday and Sunday and begin VLCD on Monday.

I've been struggling with Atkins Induction for a year now, and my body just doesn't react to it like it did with my initial loss.

I've been 100% on plan for over a month, with no loss. I'm praying HCG is what my body needs and I'm so excited to start!

Woohoo!

So let me ask you all this. I would like to get 20 pound off. If during p2 I do not make the 20, can I keep going on p2? I would have to order more drops but that would be ok.
So in essence, I would do 40 days instead of 23?

I plan on doing 2 40 day rounds of P2.

You'll have to forgive me, I don't have all the acronyms down yet.

I'm planning on:

Round 1:
2 Load Days
40 Days P2
21 Days P3
2 Transition Days (VLCD, but no Drops)

Round 2:

2 Load Days
40 Days P2
21 Days P3
2 Transition Days (VLCD, but no Drops)

When I'm done with my 2nd Round, I'll decide if I need/want to do another round. If not, I'll transition to Phase 4 for Maintenance.

I'm SOOO excited about this diet! I've been strugging and gaining on Atkins for a long time, and I'm ready to just quit fretting over it. It's really weighing me down psychologically.

Natesmommy

You will be so thrilled with your results. I knew this was for me the very first day!!! When I stepped on the scale and lost my load weight in one day!! WOW!! That was my reaction and has been ever since. The pounds lost are great, but the inches lost are much more amazing. You will be amazed at the transformation!!!!!!!!!!

Btw, the 2 VLCD without the drops are BEFORE the P3 starts!! Not after!!

Oh, yeah! I totally mistyped that.

Load Days
P2
Transition
P3

Right?

I've read Pounds and Inches, but my ADD brain does not let me process 60+ pages in one read. I get some information with my drops, I hope that helps too.

I'm loading Saturday and Sunday and will start vlcd on Monday (round 2).

natesmomma-What you typed is exactly what I'm doing too(with the transition days in the right places ) I could have wrote every word of that 61 days ago!

Today is day 21 of my first P3.

You're gonna LOVE this!!!!

With you guys!!

HI everyone! I am with you. I am on Day 2 of my load today in my very first round of hHCG. I have about a zillion pounds to lose so I anticipate having to do possible 4 rounds of HCG. We will see how it goes with results.

I can tell you that all your posts help SO much. Very inspiring as well as informative and helps newbies like me immensely! So thank you and keep posting! I will keep everyone updated on my progress.

Are you supposed to continue losing in P3? I plan on doing Atkins Induction for P3. Is that alright?

No, P3 is for stabalizing at the weight you end at in P2(before the transition days). You are supposed to stay with +/- 2 lbs of you LDW (last dosing weight).

I'm sort of doing Atkins with fruit added in. My menus are all in my journal.

Here's what Dr. Simeon says about P3:

Quote:
Concluding a Course
Quote:
When the three days of dieting after the last injection are over, the patients are told that they may now eat anything they please, except sugar and starch provided they faithfully observe one simple rule. This rule is that they must have their own portable bathroom-scale always at hand, particularly while traveling. They must without fail weight themselves every morning as they get out of bed, having
first emptied their bladder. If they are in the habit of having breakfast in bed, they must weigh before breakfast.

It takes about 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable, i.e. does not show violent fluctuations after an occasional excess. During this period patients must
realize that the so-called carbohydrates, that is sugar, rice, bread, potatoes, pastries etc, are by far the most dangerous. If no carbohydrates whatsoever are eaten, fats can be indulged in somewhat more liberally and even a small quantity of alcohol, such as a glass of wine with meals, does no harm, but as soon as fats and starch are combined things are very liable to get out of hand. This
has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise disappointments are almost sure to occur.

Skipping a Meal

As long as their weight stays within two pounds of the weight reached on the day of the last injection, patients should take no notice of any increase but the moment the scale goes beyond two pounds, even if this is only a few ounces, they must on that same day entirely skip breakfast and lunch but take plenty to drink. In the evening they must eat a huge steak with only an apple or a raw tomato. Of course this rule applies only to the morning weight. Ex-obese patients should never check their weight
during the day, as there may be wide fluctuations and these are merely alarming and confusing.

It is of utmost importance that the meal is skipped on the same day as the scale registers an increase
of more than two pounds and that missing the meals is not postponed until the following day. If a meal is skipped on the day in which a gain is registered in the morning this brings about an immediate drop of often over a pound. But if the skipping of the meal - and skipping means literally skipping not just having a light meal - is postponed the phenomenon clues not occur and several days of strict dieting may be necessary to correct the situation.

Most patients hardly ever need to skip a meal. If they have eaten a heavy lunch they feel no desire to eat their dinner, and in this case no increase takes place. If they keep their weight at the point
reached at the end of the treatment, even a heavy dinner does not bring about an increase of two pounds on the next morning and does not therefore call for any special measures. Most patients
are surprised bow small their appetite has become and yet how much they can eat without gaining weight. They no longer suffer from an abnormal appetite and feel satisfied with much less food than before. In fact, they are usually disappointed that they cannot manage their first normal meal, which they have been planning for weeks.

Thanks, Stacey. Maybe I'll do induction + fruit.

I'm having surgery after my second round...right in the middle of P3. I think I'll plan to do an extended P3 to recover from surgery instead of going right back to P2.

Enjoy your loading!! Have some goodies for me. Just remember that high fat is what you want. I was able to get in some 6 TBL of coconut oil in my days of loading. The high fat will keep the hunger at bay the first few days of your VLCDs.

Hi Dawn... well I thought I was going to start today... so this a.m. I did take my 1st 10-drops of hhcg... and what freaked me out was that I forgot to eat (load)... and by 12-noon... I was a little starved....

Now mind you, I've been doing Atkins/induction now for 10-weeks (lost 29.2 lbs) and for the 1st time in 10-weeks... I was famished after taking the drops... I haven't been hungry like that in months... is that normal????

I felt like I messed up... and so I scrapped this starting today.. and decided tomorrow is better... because I wasn't prepared to load properly today... I was still in my Atkins/induction mind... wasn't hungry (usually don't eat until 3 or 4 pm on Atkins... just not hungry)... but today... I was hungry aroun 11a.m.

Well tomorrow will be better.. because I'm going to be ready to load up with lots of fats, protein.. and fat...

No, you have not screwed up!! You have not even started!! But yeah, you do have to "stuff yourself" on the load days. That way you can make it through that first week of VLCDs. Otherwise you will be sorry!! Eat lots of fatty things--cheesecake, cheesy eggs, sausages, cheeseburgers, ice cream, heavy cream, avocados, nuts (chocolate covered ones were my favorites!!!).........that sort of thing.

Hey! I loaded wed-thurs and starting low cal today. I'm doing the homeopathic drops this time. I did injections almost 2 years ago and lost 40 lbs in 2 rounds and was able to keep off EXTREMELY easy for 6 months when I got preggo with my munchkin. Now trying to lose baby weight plus a little lower maybe... Good luck everyone!

So I am not hungry and I am forcing food and nothing sounds good. I am shocked that the drops are that effective so fast.

I think we are going to go to a Mexican restaurant to eat something. I am considering a chili releno with cheese, fatty tortilla soup with extra cheese. I don't know

I thought I would be into everything by now.

Yeah!!! Dr S did say the times when we would need to do this again were when our hormones got out of whack. Basically what you did was "get your hormones outta whack"!! I fully expect to have to do this again once I hit menopause--or rather once I am through menopause. The next big hormone challenge for me. How much are you needing to lose now??

Btw, cute pic!!! Adorable baby!!!!!!!
