P2 after interruption
Well today is back to P2 and I'm glad. Hoping to see a nice loss in the morning! Hate that I kept going up and hope when I'm back to P3 again that I do stabilize well!
I'm guessing I need to stop after the 40th day of injections and then start the drops the next day to have a longer round? Or would you just continue shots until you hit immunity then start drops that next day?? I'm just not sure what to do! I've seen people do over 100 days on a yahoo group but they only did hhcg and not injections......wish I knew of someone who had successfully changed mid round from injections to drops......I'm nervous! Anyone hear from Dawn? I know she was sick and haven't seen her posting so wondered how she was.......

Sorry to threadjack, here, but just for a moment I feel so lousy. I not only have gotten sicker, if that was even possible, it seems that I have gotten a migraine. It is a killer too. I cannot lay down, sit or stand without my head hurting. I have had ocular migraines and this doesn't even touch it!! It hurts from ear to ear on the back of my head so if anything touches it--pain. I cannot turn my neck from side to side, which is great IF and only IF I don't have to drive. I have to get to the chiro in order to get better!! And I still have my job. My DH told me today that I look "pathetic" and maybe I should break down and get some meds. So I now have the Excedrin migraine medicine and it seems to be helping. I can look down without pain in my neck now!! Needless to say P3 has been blown out of the water and I have not stuck with any guidelines LOL. I just have been eating whatever is put in front of me. So I will be full on P2 next week. I do NOT wish whatever it is I have, on anyone. This is just awful. I hope to be better by next week when I start my P2. Otherwise it will be chicken broth every day then too!!! Anyway, that is why I have not been posting or around lately. Enough of me and my troubles....back to your regularly scheduled thread here!!

Yes, I'm worried for Dawn. Make sure you don't have meningitis or something serious! I had a friend that contracted it twice and it was not good!

If this migraine persists please consider having a CAT scan done. Unless, that is, you know for a fact what is causing the migraine. It's not entirely clear from your post if you might think your P3 eating has made you sick. Last edited by French; 09-21-2010 at 04:36 PM.. |

R2P2VLCD2 and was down 3.9 this morning. The only thing I struggled with was my water. I'm pretty busy all day long and I go visit my boyfriend in the hospital at night so I am pretty occupied and don't get around to really thinking much about food..or water. So I got about half a gallon down yesterday but am shooting for my like a gallon every day. Doing better with it today. Hoping for another big drop in the morning

Birthday blog
Finally got my pics of my birthday P3 food if anyone is interested! I'm pretty slow getting things done now that I'm back to work!
What's the longest anyone on these boards have done hhcg on P2 before heading to P3? Was there a problem resetting and stabilizing? |

We caught it early so she may have only used the conditioner once so I really can't say whether it made a difference or not. Once we realized though she switched to a different one.

I am a bit confused. But this is the gist of what I said: You are not scaring me at all. It was already going through my head that I had a tumor or something. I was fine at work Sat but when came home to rest and put my feet up, the back of my head hurt like nothing before. It was so deep and unlike anything I ever felt before that my first thought was tumor. So, no I scared myself first!!! Anyhow, the chiropractor I am going to is really good. I have seen him twice and I am much better already. He has used heat therapy. When he cracks my neck I have awful twinges of pain just radiating throughout my entire head. It is really weird. I have some range of motion back in my neck and the pain is lessening. If I were not getting better by now I probably would have seen a "real" MD. My co-worker said she saw a neurologist when her headache didn't go away in 2 weeks!!! She ended up in the hospital, so when I heard that I was prepared to do something soon!! I wonder if I should still go to the doctor? I am just not sure if it would be worth it now that I feel better. Thanks for thinking of me!! Oh, and the eating off P3....right now I don't want to cook/prepare anything with this cold and then the headache. Oy!! Don't want to contaminate the family and I am basically eating whatever my hubby makes. I am hoping to re-start my P2 by this weekend. Oh, and btw, my family thinks it is the P2 that is making my head feel this way!!! LOL. Mind you I have done P2 for a year. So, I don't think that is accurate. I also don't think anything I am eating in P3 is doing this either....just a freak thing is all. At least that is what I am telling myself. Oh, and the other thing I mentioned in my other post: I did have nausea on Mon morning but felt it was because I hadn't eaten anything. I also have "visual disturbances" all the time. my eyesight is terrible to begin with so I don't really notice anything when it becomes unusual. I am used to occular migraines so it was nothing I have not seen before. But the pain was in the back of my head---never experienced that before. And the chiro did ask if I was have visual disturbances, but not any nausea. Last edited by dawnyama; 09-22-2010 at 05:26 AM.. |

I am so mad~!!! My DB &SIL were going to do the drops. Now he has looked around on the internet and says they are just water and alcohol! ![]() ![]() There is no possible way that is true!! I could not have survived and had the will power to stay on 500 cals/day if this stuff wasn't the real deal. Why do people have to do that!?!? They always have to find a way to disagree!! I really wanted him to do this, although he isn't huge he is having health problems from the food he is eating. High Cholesterol, protein in his urine. Wake up! It's time to make a change buddy! You are over 40 now and can't eat like you did when you were 20. I have done this program successfully, so has my sis and his MIL!!! Do you think it is a coincidence that we all lost amazing weight in a short time on alcohol and water drops!! Sorry, I just had to vent!I am on day 3 of P3 and maintaining well. It is very difficult to find food w/out any sugar or starch in it. I did buy some salad dressing that had a list of ingredients w/ 2% or less of sugar. Have a great day everyone!

Dawn~ So sorry to hear of your ailments. I have had sinus infection so bad that the back of my head hurt like that. They had to do a CT scan and put me on some major antibiotics to calm things down. I also found out that I had allergies that trigger the sinus infections and headaches. Finally after 2 year of agony I have had great success with allergy shots. I am on maintenance and administer them myself at home. Just a thought. Hope you feel better soon!!

TLH - sorry about your DB. I know I was skeptical at first too but desperate enough to give it a shot....I mean really...what did I have to lose!?
I know there is something to the hhcg because I'm losing weight and NOT hungry.....if people don't want to believe it that's ok with me.....I'll keep doing my own thing and get to my goal and they can struggle and suffer on a traditional diet....to each their own....it doesn't have to be that way but..what can you do. I think we have been brainwashed for years and years about the "right" way to lose weight. I saw a Jennio commercial last night where they made this restaurant and were giving away turkey burgers on a bun and everyone was oooing and ahhing on how healthy they were. I'm screaming at the tv it's NOT THE BEEF its the bun you idiots...drop the bun! I get so angry when I see that stuff. I eat fatty beef ALL the time....no less than 20% fat...anyway.....sorry for the rant but geez I'm just tired of all the misinformation out there on what's healthy and what's not. PS....after doing this diet I REALLY feel sorry for the people on The Biggest Loser going through all that they are going through and we will end up with the same results and not suffer like they are. |

JK, sounds like they were just looking for an excuse not to do a strict diet - probably chickened out at the last minute.
I wouldn't worry about them or their opinions, just focus on yourself. ![]() |

Sarah, way to go on the loss!!! Downward I say!
Dawn, I'm so sorry you are still feeling poorly. Is the cold piece at least starting to leave you? I hope the chiro brings you good relief. Colleen! LOL I 'yell' at people too about the bun. It seems so innocuous, but it's true. It's the carbs that get us. TLH, I hear ya on the doubters. ya just gotta turn your head and do what you're doing cause it is working! Congrats to all the wonderful releasers! I cannot wait to go back to P2 on Sunday. Just CANNOT Wait! I had toppings off of 3 slices of pizza last night and am up 0.6 pounds, still under LDW. Yanno, pizza without the crust just isn't worth it. Meh...

Cheryl, I am right there with you! I'm probably starting P2 on Monday or Tuesday. We are moving this weekend, so perfect time for loading. I'm going to start as soon as my kitchen is unpacked and I have food prepared! I can't wait either.
Colleen, I don't think people will ever believe that it's the bun unless it's plastered all over the TV, because that makes it true right?? TLH, I agree that they were looking for an excuse...anybody can find anything on the web to back up any theory if they look hard enough. Lorrie-can't wait to see your pics! Sassy-you are gonna be in the 180's before you know it! Congrats! Dawn, hope you feel better soon! |

Down .2 today. Little frustrated as this is the THIRD day I'm at the 171 reading. BUT, y'all will be proud, I resisted cheating at the donut shop this morning. I was so tempted to order a pig-in-blanket and eat the pig when I took my kids there. But I was good. FYI, going back to eating steak as my fish day did not seem to make a difference. Think I'll "fry" up some onions to eat with it. My sweet little daughter was talking to me today about how I would eat when I lost all the weight and if I would be eating donuts. I told her I would be able to, just not a lot or very often. I don't even like donuts...but I do want to look like a "normal" eater to her at some point so she doesn't think women always have to starve themselves or eat odd diets. So hard raising girls! ![]()

Hey guys, what kind of steaks do you use on P2? I was thinking of getting some filet mignon from the store (it was on special yesterday, hopefully today too!) as it looked extra lean, but I'd hate to fix the wrong meal and consume too much fat/calories. What cuts do you all generally use? I've heard the round is lean, but am not sure which cuts specifically to look for. I made the Dude a strip steak yesterday and kind of missed not being able to eat some with him. Thanks for the help!!
