The first thing I'm going to do when I get to P3....slather my body in body butter and deep condition my hair!!! I don't know about you other AZ girls, but our water here in Havasu is really terrible. Very hard and full of minerals and my skin and hair are feeling the difference right now!! That's okay, it's all worth it!!

WW, have a great day!! I really wish I could find time to work out, but I can never get out of the shop that long. We keep saying that one of these days we are going to close one day a week, but I don't see that happening any time soon!

TLH, is that a new avatar for you as well, or have I just not noticed it before? You look great!!! I know it's frustrating to be so close to goal and not quite get there, but I know you will enjoy your girls time and get to goal on the next round.

Possible newbie

Hello, all. I've been reading a lot on the hcg forum, and I'm almost convinced to give it a shot (if I can ever decide what drops I want to order...I'm having a hard time with that one). I read Pounds & Inches and I've read many, many of your posts. Has anyone taken the time to compile a "Cliff's Notes" version or a cheatsheet, if you will, of all the pertinent information? Like, for example, I just happened across one person's post who mentions not being able to use mint toothpaste while using the drops....where does one find all this useful information? If anyone knows of a handy-dandy list, please share with me!

I look forward to getting to know all of you better!

Misty

Starting back on P2 after 13 days on P3. Enjoyed the heck out of coconut pancakes and still stabilized well. I didn't reload, but did overindulge in high fat foods late yesterday and last night getting in the rest of the custard and coconut cream. I'm ready to go hopefully just one more P2.

TLH, I never noticed the avatar earlier. It is very nice to see you!

I hope your husband is all healed up from his motorcycle accident. I was in one when I was 14, I was on the back and we ran into a parked car. My now husband was driving, he went through the windshield and I ended up under the car. No more motorcycles for me and certainly none for my children.

Aww thanks Gracie. Yeah he's really just started improving a lot in the last couple weeks. It's been long and rough on me for sure. It's really weird not having him at home and last time I did the hcg, he was a huge supporter. He worked at the grocery store so he would bring me home chicken and shrimp and would make sure I did not cheat. So it'll be different this round but since I am rarely home these days, I think it may even be a little easier than last time since I won't be around anything tempting.

I hope your husband is okay! My bf was in a jeep and was turning left into our apartment complex and got broadsided by an SUV that was going 20 miles over the speed limit. He suffered a pretty severe brain injury and it's been slow slow slow progress but it's progress. The doctors told us there was a 90 percent chance he would never regain consciousness. He proved them wrong..he doesn't talk but does open his eyes, watches everything everyone does, follows commands, he's eating now, and he knows who I am by kissing my hand or blowing me kisses. Still quite a long ways to go still but it's at least given us all hope.

You know the hospital he's in actually has a really good cafeteria..and even a salad bar so I can actually get away with doing P2 there if I happen to be there without any food.

I actually tried to do my second round about a month after his accident and lasted maybe a week. My head just wasn't in it for obvious reasons. I had actually lost almost 10 pounds in that one week too and then when I went off the hcg, gained right back to my LIW but never have gone much over. Makes me believe that I must have somehow stabilized though since I never regained..and also has made me realize that this is the only diet that has really ever worked for me since I have been able to maintain.

TOM arrived for me on the same day I started my drops, and I didn't have any problems at all. I don't know if it's different for other people.

I don't think it matters with the drops when you start. What you read is if you are doing the injections.

P3 D3

Hey everyone,

Sorry no time to catch up right now, haven't been on in days. P3 day one had me up almost 2lb but since I went down those three days it gave me leeway. Did better with food yesterday even though we traveled to see Nickelback to celebrate my 40th which is today. Have cooked all day today it seemed and dinner was decent. I liked the chicken parmesan and the lasagna made with zucchini noodles but the alfredo was not my fave. Hubby seemed to love everything though. The cake turned out great although I ended up having to do a different frosting today as well as make up a new batch of icecream for hubby because I mistakenly left it out on the counter all night I have eaten way too much today and too much variety but still no sugar or starch, just heavy volume. I am sure to be past my window in the morning and the ribeye is thawing in the fridge for my pre-planned correction day!

I head back to work Saturday & Sunday, both twelves and hoping to be able to do it ok since I'm still not where I need to be and that place is wicked crazy!

I hope to get pictures up as well as recipes and things on my blog if you want to take a look. It may not be until Monday or Tuesday though since I have a lot to do tomorrow to prep for work and tonight I want to kick back with some cake and icecream and watch The Killers. I should have PM's in a bit over a week I guess, so feel free to shoot me one if you don't remember my webpage address!

Hope everyone is doing well. I hope to catch up with everyone soon!

They are so good I ate them without anything on them, and I even ate them cold. There are still leftovers in the fridge so the husband better finish them off soon or they will be calling out to me.

I saw that some people were also looking for pumpkin. Our stores have just started getting it in. They said that the crops had gotten flooded out last year just over the river and I think they said that it was a major supplier so maybe we just got it first since we are so close.

Well, P3 starts Sunday morning for me, so I spent the day getting some things for the prep. I made homemade turkey sausage patties to enjoy for my breakfasts since all the ones I found either contain sugar or are made with pork, which I don't eat. I fried some up for DH to tell me if the seasoning was right and his eyes lit up, so I am excited for Sunday's breakfast. I'm going to try out some coconut flour recipes too, maybe tomorrow. I found a recipe for zucchini muffins made with coconut flour, applesauce and stevia... Yum! I'll let everyone know how they turn out.

Good night all!

I am so sorry for all that you two have gone through. I work in a hospital and have had patients that long and its awesome to see progress after working and waiting so long for the patient and their family! What is his name? I will be praying too! Enjoy your loading and here is to you doing this P2 wonderfully because you deserve it!

With 2.4 lbs to go on my goal I am just not going to make it this round and need to start making peace with that. DH doesn't want me to extend my round and frankly neither do I. If I end now I will be starting P4 before my trip to St Louis in October. Which I am going on with my sis who will still be in P2. Can you say Designated Driver

I am marinating chicken breasts and DH is going to grill them for me tonight in preparation for my Girl's weekend. He told me I had to do "special favors" for him though.
Yeah I know all about those type of special favors being married for 22 years! Enjoy your girls weekend!

Yay for stabilizing well! I'm wondering about making my P3 a break too. Guess it will depend on how I do with stabilizing before that time frame is up. I haven't had the coconut pancakes but hubby enjoyed some I made!

Thank you for the birthday wishes. It was nice. Unfortunately I am feeling very over stuffed with all of the P3 friendly recipes I made to celebrate! We went to the concert last night and it was awesome! What can I say, seeing them three times in a year on the same tour but with different bands and the last time being for my 40th as a present? Fantastic.

Great job prepping. It really will help! I made mine with pork but would do turkey as well! Turned out great although next time I want my spices a bit hotter! Enjoy P3!

WW and TLH, I love the pics! You guys are making me think I might have to think about putting an actual pic up and not the one from my webpage

Well its late and while I did sleep in today, it was busy cooking and cleaning and just go, go around the house from 1p-5:30p non-stop and I that would have been fine since the food turned out decent, its just that I got stuffed very quickly.......waited hours before having cake/icecream (P3 friendly) and now feeling stuffed again. I don't like this feeling, so I am very much looking forward to my steak day! I am sure to be over my window for LIW but even if not I have to find a better way to get calories in with less volume or something.......haha, cake is in the freezer and will be a rare treat anyway and I am sure going back to simple P3 foods will be a better idea!!

My sister is a professional photographer. I don't really look this good in person.

Today is last dosing day. So is today LDW as well or tomorrow morning? I really thought I was going to see a jump in the scale this morning. No luck. I guess my body has stabilized for this round.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Sounds great! Would love to hear how successful the rest of your P2 is.

Glad he's doing better and

We are almost the same age! I celebrated that one last year. I've told my family that I turned 39 again... and again.

Good news from your whining poster.

Down 2.0 pounds today.

So my first week shows a net loss of 1.2 pounds, and I'm almost into new territory. Still in my P3 window. Onto vlcd6.

Steaks are ready to marinate. Bought some halibut, but not sure what to do with it. Never cooked with halibut before.

Tried the Smooth Move tea. Worked, but has left everything jumbled and rumbly inside. Maybe it's too powerful for me? Next time I'll try steeping it for just 20 seconds or so.
