I have to do a correction day while on vacation. I'm really cranky about it. I thought I was doing pretty good with my food especially for being on vacation. I guess not. It was MUCH easier at home.

Can I have coffee for breakfast? Or just water all day until my steak tonight? I guess today is a good day to do it, we'll be at the navy museum all day, it should keep my mind off food. I hope.

Can I have steamed veggies with my steak? Or does it have to just be steak?

Thanks!

Yes, you can have coffee on your steak day. And all the tea and water you can stand!! NO on the steamed veggies. On a steak day you are to consume the biggest steak around, and a tomato or apple---eaten raw!! The raw of the tomato or apple is to help digest the protein of the steak. It is important that you ONLY pick one of the choices with your steak---no other veggie!!!

P2 is wiping me out. I'm so weak. I upped my potassium to 6/day. I can't find b12 without sugar so I might just have to bite the bullet and take it anyway.

I'm down 1 pound this morning.

Paula, congrats on your loss. I looked back at my records from last time and my loss pattern seems to be about the same. How about you?
I got up to 8 potassium a day just because the cramping got so much worse this time around. Not sure why, but the 8 has helped me so much!!! But that was for cramps not being tired. I am tired to begin with so being on P2 is just like any other day for me!

THANK YOU for such a quick reply! We were waking out of the condo and now I can make my coffee! I'm not so cranky now.

Girl
My family knows when I am doing a steak day!! They tend to stay out of Mom's way when I am on a steak day. They also don't ask for a bite of my food, or even mind when I make them fend for themselves when I eat my steak at 5, when dinner is around 6 or later usually!!

Today is Day 21 of P4. This morning's weight was 181.4 That's .4 below leeway. I had to do a steak day yesterday to get there. (DANG FAIR FOOD) I might do another one today....I LOVE ME SOME STEAK!!!!!

I am not sure when I will start my 3rd round tho. Dh and I might still sneak in some traveling....and it is a LOT easier traveling on P3/P4 eating!!!!

I think the 3rd round tho will be all I will need

Happy Releases to everyone today!!!!

I'm so ready to move on to P3. Can't wait for Sunday morning's breakfast. I need to decide what to eat...
Aw, so nice of DH to pick up the slack for you. I wish you could get at least 3 nights of good sleep and that 0.8 would be gone in no time. WHOOSH!

I'm thinking 12 pounds was a way too aggressive goal for 21 day round...maybe I should be hoping for 6 pounds. Was my 15 pounds in a 35 day round my "golden shot"?

Sorry I'm such a total grump bear. DH woke me up 30 minutes ago...still playing video games, and I can't go back to sleep! He is so selfish!
Nah, I don't believe in golden shots with HCG either. 1.4 overnight is fantabulous! I'm a slow loser too and I just shoot for 1/2 of the number of days in pounds and that way I'm not disappointed.

I woke up another 1 lbs down this AM. So, I am starting P4 0.8 lbs above my LIW window, but I know my knee swelling is still receding...and that is why the weight is coming off again since I put it on immediately after injuring it.

Enjoying steel cut oatmeal, with walnuts, cinnamon and peaches. YUM!
WOOT! Way to go Peggy!

Today i saw a 2.2 lb loss which takes me to 15.1 in 13 days, still far behind where I was last time, but I'm really ok with that. If I can lose 4.9 by the end of the week (Monday) I will still be on track to lose 40 this month, keeping my fingers crossed.

Last night was TERRIBLE. OMG, I had a bbq rib up to my mouth and had to force myself to put it down, I went to bed at 5:30PM, it was the only way I could get through the evening. I actually took something to help me sleep
My stomach is growling right now. I took 20 drops this morning hoping that it would help. I don't know what is going on. This hunger is terrible. I am going to eat my apple this morning and am going back to splitting my meals again, something has to work. I have 8 more days of this I just want to cry.

Everybody is doing soooooo well. I am really trying to hold on to posting here, but coming and seeing all the 'cheating' is really difficult, it makes me want those foods right now even more. If I stop posting for a little while it is not because I've stopped doing the plan it is because I am having a difficult time reading the posts. If I do stop posting, I will be back after the 21 days are over and I can stand reading about tuna and mayo
MM, I'm so sorry you are still not feeling the effects of the HCG. Something is amiss and I wish I knew what it was so you could be sailing along like you were in P2. Don't forget, the less you weigh, the slower the weight is going to come off, so this rate may be your new normal and to me, it is still nothing short of AMAZING.

I totally understand how hard it is to read all the food p0rn on here and then go back to our staple P2 diet. I would understand if ya had to take a break, but we would miss you!!!!

This morning the scale read (repeatedly) 200.8 so I'm SO CLOSE!! Today is going to be another low sodium day with a ton of water (drank 20oz at breakfast) so I'm hoping for the very best by tomorrow or this weekend. I only just started taking Magnesium and WHOA NELLY but it's working well for me!!! This morning however I skipped my supplements, forgetting until I was already on my way to work. Oh well, they'll be there when I get home.

But less than a pound away from Onederland!! Gah, I'm SO CLOSE it's painful!!!!
Oh baby, so close!!!

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I would risk the B12 to see if it at least helped with that. My potassium level made me weak too. Hope you figure it out.

Dawn, I think I'm going to have to join you there with the 8 potassium. Even on P3 these days, Bernice is scarce. I think I offended her.

I woke up to an 0.8 pound loss this morning, even on P3. I'm 1.2 under LDW, but nice to have the cushion and I'm not even trying to lose. Go figure. Guess this stuff is working to reset my system.

MM ~ I'm so sorry you're still hungry! I wish you could figure this out - it's gotta be horrible. I know that too many drops can have the opposite effect - but you are losing so I don't think that is it. Did you possibly leave the drops by your computer or microwave or something electronic that could have altered them? I'm sure you are activating them before using right? I'm really racking my brain trying to figure out what's going on!!! I would think your drops are bad if you are starving. Could you have touched the dropper by accident with something and then put back into the bottle? The dropper is not supposed to touch anything or it will contaminate the hhcg. I know with other homeopathic remedies nothing can touch them. My son takes homeopathic tablets and if you take more than one out you can't put it back into the bottle because it will ruin all the other ones left. I hope you can figure this out!!!

Totally different. On the first round on vlcd5 I had lost 3.4 pounds in addition to the 5.8 loading pounds lost. This round...I've lost 5.6 of my 6.4 loading pounds. So far I'm losing about half the rate of last time...which should give me about 6 net pounds in 21 days. I am greedy for way more!

But good news...I'm experiencing much less hunger. Still, I'm mostly making the family fend for themselves food wise.

I need to stop complaining and start appreciating the gifts I have been given!

Good to know there is no "golden shot" on the protocol. I have been thinking maybe M missed out on bigger losing because we did not wait for TOM before starting the drops.

Thank you, I didn't mention it to her. I wish we would have seen a loss today, it makes it all that much easier when you see the scale moving.

M had no change in weight today. She had a good menu yesterday, got in six bottles of water but she didn't get to bed until 3am so she only got 5 hours of sleep. I think that have something to do with it.

Koo...have you checked her measurements am sure she has had some incedible inch loss by now along with the weight loss, that will spur her on until a nice release tomorrow

I am glad you're less hungry. Hunger stinks.

Listen, I don't think you're complaining at all. It can really get to you when you see all these people dropping weight at the speed of light when you lose slowly. Especially if you're following protocol so closely and your body just refuses to cooperate. Umm, can you tell I've BTDT?

Koo, sleep has a lot to do with it! Less sleep for me equals less loss, every time. Btw, I think you're awesome to be helping her with this.

No, we haven't but she did say her scrubs pants felt a little loose this morning. She only wears then once a week. Hopefully, she hangs on to that. She has a long day today, has to do her service hours at the library after school but maybe we will be able to get a couple of measurements in this evening.

Thanks Brenda! I agree with the sleep. I think she does her best when she gets at least 7 hours. She had Civics homework last night that kept her up.

Thanks everybody for your well wishes! It is 11AM and I'm dosing again, I will cut back on the dose because the good Doc stated that too much and cause a stall...I was just trying to stop the hungries...

I'm not hungry right now, it is a welcome break. I'm chewing sf gum right now, I've drank 64 ounces of water so far (64 to go) and I've eaten my apple...so far so good.

I'm terribly sorry for not speaking to each of you directly, but I am really just skimming the posts because of all the food porn

It seems that if I'm very active I'm not as hungry (not sure why, but I've been running around this AM like a crazy woman and have not had a desire to eat) so I will try to keep myself as busy as possible, it is either that or the 20 drops this morning. I think I may have contaminated my drops, that is all I can think. I'm ordering another bottle now.

Thank you everybody!

You know, I totally get your frustration. That is how I felt on my first round. I was losing so much slower than everyone else on the board and it just wasn't fair. This time around I was expecting the same results but have been pleasantly surprised. The point I'm trying to make is that every round you do will be different. And I don't think you're complaining! A little bit of venting is healthy and necessary! Don't I know! Lol!

This mornings weigh in showed 0 loss.

Tomorrow will be my LDW, and I truly hope I can drop that last .8. I'm chugging the water today. Wish me luck everyone!

Sassy, you're soooo close!!! Tomorrow has to be your day for sure!!

Koo, I'm sorry M didn't see a loss today, but I'm sure you're right, the lack of sleep has to be doing it.

I released another 2.2 this morning, for a total loss so far of 23.8 from my preload weight! I'm just so completely amazed at this! I can see my collar bones again!! They were buried under the fat and invisible for so long!!

2.2 lbs., excellent! I am looking for my wrist bones, I carry a lot of my weight in my arms and keep looking for that little wrist bone.

I am hoping M gets to bed at a decent time tonight so that hopefully she shows a loss tomorrow before we leave to go to the beach. She needs the motivation to stay on plan for the weekend.

Wow lots of people on this board now. I've been gone for awhile because my boyfriend was in a car accident almost 5 months ago. He's still in the hospital but we are finally seeing some improvements. Of course I haven't been doing the hcg at all since this happened but I have maintained the loss I had from my first round and am finally ready to give round 2 a go. So loading tomorrow and Saturday. Lost right around 18 pounds in round 1 and still got another 40 or so to go.

OMG so srry about you BF!!! WTG on maintaining through that. My DH was in the hospital for 3 days after a motorcycle accident a 6 weeks ago and I ate nothing but junk while we were there!!!

I knew the 3rd week was going to suck but I had no idea it was going to be this sucklicious!!! I have had miniscule losses all week and tomrrow is my last dosing day. I am afraid TOM is stalking me. This is my usual timing, but I wasn't sure with him making a surprise appearance when I started the drops. With 2.4 lbs to go on my goal I am just not going to make it this round and need to start making peace with that. DH doesn't want me to extend my round and frankly neither do I. If I end now I will be starting P4 before my trip to St Louis in October. Which I am going on with my sis who will still be in P2. Can you say Designated Driver

I am marinating chicken breasts and DH is going to grill them for me tonight in preparation for my Girl's weekend. He told me I had to do "special favors" for him though.

Sorry to hear about your boyfriend. I am glad you are seeing improvements with him. Good luck on your restart, have fun loading!
