Gilded I was ready to chew nails yesterday, but my hunger is pretty managable today except for this morning before lunch - I don't like to do breakfast on P2 as it just seems to lengthen my hunger.

I do however have the rumbly Candida tummy. Am trying a cup of warm broth as that often helps ... Dang it's noisy over here! I'm going to try to avoid the coconut this round. Maybe I'll do some clove capsules if this is still happening later today.

Making chicken for all tonight plus refried beans for kids/DH.

OK, for some reason I can't type properly during P2 or spell right.

P.S. Already hopped on scale and can tell it's starting to move the right direction again. I am a scale NUT on P2!

PPS. If you asked me something and I missed it I'm sorry...I cannot keep two thoughts in my head right now!
Tell me more about the rumbly tummy. I swear mine kept me awake last night. I overdid on the Magnesium Saturday night so I thought maybe that was the culprit.

Mother Goose~ I am with you week 3 stinks!!!

I am down 18.4 lbs with one week to go. Maybe longer I haven't decided yet. May not decide until I am a week into phase 3. DH wants me to stop. But I want to see if my body wants to keep going.

I read everyone's post but don't have time to respond.

Take care everyone!!!

P.S. I went to the HF store and bout drops for 3 other people today!!! Can't wait to see their results. Why is it when I want to sell something to people or have them do something they won't give me the time of day. When it comes to weightloss they are like flies on youknowwhat!

It's my own totally made up term! I'm always battling candida...and I had the bad tummy rumbles last time, so I'm assuming it's related. You know, it's not really the tummy rumbling but somewhere lower down...and you hope it doesn't cause you any accidents! Like after you have the flu and you start drinking and then you hear bizarre rumblings...like that...like after you have too much magnesium TLH.

I guess I'm detoxing, cause it's really burning underneath the girls too.

Quick question for all you pros...when making P2 chili, do you use a whole can of tomatos (and use as either a fruit or a veggie?)

How long do you think detoxing lasts? M looks like she has a bad case of eczema on her hairline and I am wondering if it just popped up because of detoxing. She is on day 8, could she still be detoxing? She has never had this before.

Only 31 days to go haha and hopefully about 18 lbs Hope you all had a great Monday!

I only had a few days problems last time. But eczema is one of those things that once it pops up...it takes a long time to heal. I know when I used to get it sometimes it would take a month to heal.

If it's along her hairline it could be dandruff...which is often just the other side of candida (since it likes to get us *everywhere*). Just thought I'd throw that out there just in case!

Even without candida anytime we lose weight it throws our body for a loop...pimples, changes to cycles, etc. All worth it though!

If M is still hungry on Day 8, you could consider adjusting her dosage. I am not familiar with HhCG. I'm pretty sure someone else hear could help with what to try. Sometimes more helps, sometimes less does the trick.

Oh Dawn, I am sorry your feeling bad , I noticed P2 can be hard on the immune system . I have been kicked in the butt on all my P2s except this one and I am praying to bypass it this round day 10 here (this is my redo round , I was naughty ) . I took oil of oregano my other P2 s, it helped lots ,but I am sure it slow my losses . I hope your feeling better soon sweetie, and your family stays healthy during your summer cold.

Thanks Paula. That is what I was thinking that it might be die off from candida, especially since she did a 10 day high dose of amoxicillin last month.

Kimberly, her drops say 7-10 3X a day and she is taking the 10. She did say that today was a bit better than the other days so maybe she will be okay from now on. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you. Her drops have other things in it so I don't know about upping those other things. She uses the 2 oz. bottle which is sold on the Netrition site.

Oh man if that turns out, PLEASE share the recipe with me. I tried one I found online with the oven method and it sucked. I try not to do too much dairy as it can cause me issues too and I would love that! I was going to invest in a yogurt maker but don't want to if I can't use it! Quick update! I have been running crazy! Started selling Avon and trying to get my Thirty-One business off the ground while working full-time and trying to finish my Masters! We went on vacation 9/8, which is the same day that I started P4. Just got back last night so not too concerned about the gain, since I can tell I am retaining water and Bernice hasn't been very giving over the last few days. I am going to eat P3 style for the next couple of days and take some magnesium to see if I can get Bernice to be a little nicer to me.

Hope everyone is doing well!
I sure hope that you enjoyed vacation! Busy can be good or it can be exhausting! Bet you eating P3, upping the water and getting that magnesium in will get you back quickly!

I'm betting you go down soon! Your body just needs adjustment time for losing that 11lbs so quickly! Drink LOTS of water!!

You've done awesome with Atkins! It would be cool if you and M could do a round together! I didn't lose the day I started TOM but no gains and that for me is good as I can easily go up 3-5lb

I was hoping for 20lb to but no such luck. My next round I'll lose all I need to or at least reshape more which is more of what I need! I drink 1 to 1 and 1/2 gallons every day of water......hope the scale goes down for you in the AM!

Its hard to figure out since our bodies have a mind of their own! Hope you get a clear direction as to keep going or not!

I had three different bouts of what I'd call detox in my 30 some days......have her keep drinking the water to flush it out! It will pass

Today was last non-dosing day.....

P3 starts tomorrow for me and I am so excited! My first two days of non-dosing I was not hungry, still having to stuff the food in......today by about 10am I was ravenous! Couldn't eat til after my doc appt (packed my cooler to eat after I left docs on way to grocery store). Shopped and while it wasn't easy it wasn't as bad as the last one!

Only down 0.1 today, so wiggle room this far is 0.9lb. Hopefully tomorrow will add a bit more to at least give me over a pound wiggle room! While I am excited and feel like I have planned well, I am sort of anxious about P3, not gaining and being able to stabilize!

Doc did not want to release me to work but 8 weeks off and while I'm still not 100%, I have to get back as the 60% pay only lasted 5 weeks and my check is the only check we have right now.......my release is for Wednesday and we will head to see Nickelback for my 40th birthday which is Thursday. I had to talk him into signing papers and he feels I will be back on leave in less then two weeks. I have to try and I think I can do it! I've struggled in the worst way for many years so hopefully I can do this for 2 more years til hubby is done with school and working! I also have my fingers crossed work accepts his note that I can only do three 12's a week for the next 6 months then re-assess.......that means they can't mandate me for a double. Working the 12's is hard enough but those freaking doubles kill me and send my health in a downward spiral! Doc feels I'd crash and burn and said it takes that for some people to listen but I am praying I don't crash & burnI head back to work for twelves on Saturday and Sunday.

Doc's, groceries and then put it all away and made a *FAILED* oopsie jello cake. My fault......I had bacon in the oven (yes I wore gloves through everything since I'm not P3 yet and I can't wait til tomorrow when there will be no more gloves!), pork cooking up spiced up for sausage crumbled, etc and the egg whites whipped beautifully but then sat for about 15 minutes so the cake came out FLAT! I put whipped cream in between the two little flat heart shapes but hubby didn't like the taste......then I whipped up a Coconut Flour pound cake. It was supposed to be in a loaf pan but seemed like too much batter so I used my bundt pan......it was beautiful but then a piece stuck in the bottom of the pan when I flipped it out! Not picture perfect now but hopefully it will taste delish with strawberries and heavy whipping cream on top! It freezes well according to the recipe so it will be frozen after the birthday.....I wanted a spare in case the other one I baked didn't turn out!

Hubby made himself pizza for dinner out of the lowcarb breadsticks I made. Man did it look good! Smelled great too! I love pepperoni but that will have to wait until P4 since I can't find any without dextrose.....

P3 starts when I wake up tomorrow.......guessing 9am which will be 76 hours after my last shot........the plan for the day is an omelette with sausage, bacon and green pepper for breakfast or brunch, topped with salsa.....dinner will be a burger off the grill, topped with jalapeno cheese, jalapeno mustard, dill pickles, a slice each of tomato and lettuce, served along side some carmelized brussel sprouts cooked with bacon on top! LOTS OF WATER.....not sure what else I will have but possibly some greek yogurt with chocolate protein powder and coconut or strawberries or blueberries with heavy whipped cream........If I am as ravenous as I was today it will not be a problem eating enough calories!!

Happy losses everyone, I'm off to bed, its been a very long day!

Well I was gonna come on and complain about my .6 lb loss this morning, but I don't think I'll do that anymore

Hang in there, those that aren't seeing the scale move too much or in the wrong direction. A loss is coming! =)

Been a long while

Well I did my first round of HCG in August of 09.... and after losing more then 30 lbs and gaining back about 14 lbs - (I actually kept all the weight off but gained all of the 14 back when I was work 7 days a week / 18 hour days for 3 months) now I''m back at it.
It seems like the second time around is harder for me... perhaps I'm less focused... but I want and need this.

I just thought I would drop in and see how everyone else is doing out there, I've been struggling with my weight for a long time and I need friends that know what I mean...

Hope everyone is having success on their goals.

Karee

Christi - You've been seriously busy! I tried to PM you, but when I click on your name it doesn't give me the option to. Maybe you could PM me, and we can 'back and forth' that way. I'll let you know what I'm doing with the yogurt, etc. It worked, kind of. It tastes like yogurt, but is more the consistency of kefir. I'm going to do a few things different next time, but for now I'm making smoothies for the kids, doing berries and 'cream' for them, etc. Anyway, I'd love the granola recipe, and maybe even the pound cake! I love anything to do with coconut...
Thanks a bunch!

Great job nipping it in the bud now instead of later! We all struggle and you just have to buckle down and focus on the goal, whether a new dress or outfit, fancy shoes when at goal or getting healthy! You can do this!!

One I used the Yogourmet starter (which unfortunately has a bit of milk powder in it, but I'm thinking the little 'critters' should eat up most of it) and the other one I used probiotics for the culture. I truly hope at least one of them turns out. How cool would it be to be able to have yogurt again!!! I think the P3 dreaming
has begun. Uh, oh.

hcground1 I would love the recipe also , my grandson does no dairy and loves yogurt and coconut ice cream . His diet gets really pricey no dairy, wheat, gluten, soy so I try to make special homemade goodies for him when he's here.

I am down 5 pounds this morning. I still have 1.5 of loading weight to take off before hitting new territory. Yesterday was miserable. Sugar/carb hangover!

Welcome! It's my second round too and I was kind of worried about the "focus factor". I know that coming to this board and getting/giving support helps tremendously! Good luck!

Finally lost 2 today. At this point in Round 1 I had lost 6.6 pounds. This round...2. I'm still bloated around the middle though, so that's probably what it is. Kept the heating pad on all night and downing some ibuprofen. At least it doesn't hurt this morning!

Of course, I woke up at 5 am again.

Here is my lame generic hi to everyone (including new and returning folks).
Glad you're feeling a bit better, Paula! Dawn says all rounds are different, but I was hoping this one would show a speedier weight loss for us. How much did you gain in loading? I was up 6.5.

I was up 5.4 after loading, but then went up another pound after VLCD1. So 6.4 - that's close to my last round 5.8.

I'm sure it'll pick up. This ovulation/cramping/bloating is just bad timing for me.

At least I seem to have beaten catching the cold.... (Dawn hope you're feeling better!)

Congrats on 5 pounds down. I have never heard of such a thing!
