Mother Goose~ I am with you week 3 stinks!!!
I am down 18.4 lbs with one week to go. Maybe longer I haven't decided yet. May not decide until I am a week into phase 3. DH wants me to stop. But I want to see if my body wants to keep going. I read everyone's post but don't have time to respond. Take care everyone!!! P.S. I went to the HF store and bout drops for 3 other people today!!! Can't wait to see their results. Why is it when I want to sell something to people or have them do something they won't give me the time of day. When it comes to weightloss they are like flies on youknowwhat!

It's my own totally made up term! I'm always battling candida...and I had the bad tummy rumbles last time, so I'm assuming it's related. You know, it's not really the tummy rumbling but somewhere lower down...and you hope it doesn't cause you any accidents! Like after you have the flu and you start drinking and then you hear bizarre rumblings...like that...like after you have too much magnesium TLH. ![]() I guess I'm detoxing, cause it's really burning underneath the girls too. ![]() |

Hey guys, just checkin' in! So sorry to hear everyone is sick!! I hope you all heal up in no time! I am on VLCD18 and am down 13.1 lb with a 0.0 today. I am feeling great and the inches are dropping which is awesome! I am certainly not the world's fastest loser and with TOM last week and this being week 3, I am feeling pretty pleased with my losses so far! Only 31 days to go haha and hopefully about 18 lbs

If it's along her hairline it could be dandruff...which is often just the other side of candida (since it likes to get us *everywhere*). Just thought I'd throw that out there just in case! Even without candida anytime we lose weight it throws our body for a loop...pimples, changes to cycles, etc. All worth it though!

If M is still hungry on Day 8, you could consider adjusting her dosage. I am not familiar with HhCG. I'm pretty sure someone else hear could help with what to try. Sometimes more helps, sometimes less does the trick. |

Thanks Paula. That is what I was thinking that it might be die off from candida, especially since she did a 10 day high dose of amoxicillin last month.
Kimberly, her drops say 7-10 3X a day and she is taking the 10. She did say that today was a bit better than the other days so maybe she will be okay from now on. Thanks for the suggestion. |

![]() Three people all saying no hunger not taking the drops on the last couple of days. I don't understand why some (including M) are still hungry while taking them. I hope it passes soon. M may want to consider upping he drops , my directions say to take 10 drops 3x a day and my daughter and I take 14 to 15( which is a full dropper full ) 3x a day ,and since we upped them we are never hungry. On this diet you need not to be hungry , I wish M the best ![]() Janeann |

Today was last non-dosing day.....
P3 starts tomorrow for me and I am so excited! My first two days of non-dosing I was not hungry, still having to stuff the food in......today by about 10am I was ravenous! Couldn't eat til after my doc appt (packed my cooler to eat after I left docs on way to grocery store). Shopped and while it wasn't easy it wasn't as bad as the last one!
![]() Only down 0.1 today, so wiggle room this far is 0.9lb. Hopefully tomorrow will add a bit more to at least give me over a pound wiggle room! While I am excited and feel like I have planned well, I am sort of anxious about P3, not gaining and being able to stabilize! Doc did not want to release me to work but 8 weeks off and while I'm still not 100%, I have to get back as the 60% pay only lasted 5 weeks and my check is the only check we have right now.......my release is for Wednesday and we will head to see Nickelback for my 40th birthday which is Thursday. I had to talk him into signing papers and he feels I will be back on leave in less then two weeks. I have to try and I think I can do it! I've struggled in the worst way for many years so hopefully I can do this for 2 more years til hubby is done with school and working! I also have my fingers crossed work accepts his note that I can only do three 12's a week for the next 6 months then re-assess.......that means they can't mandate me for a double. Working the 12's is hard enough but those freaking doubles kill me and send my health in a downward spiral! Doc feels I'd crash and burn and said it takes that for some people to listen but I am praying I don't crash & burn I head back to work for twelves on Saturday and Sunday.Doc's, groceries and then put it all away and made a *FAILED* oopsie jello cake. My fault......I had bacon in the oven (yes I wore gloves through everything since I'm not P3 yet and I can't wait til tomorrow when there will be no more gloves!), pork cooking up spiced up for sausage crumbled, etc and the egg whites whipped beautifully but then sat for about 15 minutes so the cake came out FLAT! I put whipped cream in between the two little flat heart shapes but hubby didn't like the taste......then I whipped up a Coconut Flour pound cake. It was supposed to be in a loaf pan but seemed like too much batter so I used my bundt pan......it was beautiful but then a piece stuck in the bottom of the pan when I flipped it out! Not picture perfect now but hopefully it will taste delish with strawberries and heavy whipping cream on top! It freezes well according to the recipe so it will be frozen after the birthday.....I wanted a spare in case the other one I baked didn't turn out! Hubby made himself pizza for dinner out of the lowcarb breadsticks I made. Man did it look good! Smelled great too! I love pepperoni but that will have to wait until P4 since I can't find any without dextrose..... P3 starts when I wake up tomorrow.......guessing 9am which will be 76 hours after my last shot........the plan for the day is an omelette with sausage, bacon and green pepper for breakfast or brunch, topped with salsa.....dinner will be a burger off the grill, topped with jalapeno cheese, jalapeno mustard, dill pickles, a slice each of tomato and lettuce, served along side some carmelized brussel sprouts cooked with bacon on top! LOTS OF WATER.....not sure what else I will have but possibly some greek yogurt with chocolate protein powder and coconut or strawberries or blueberries with heavy whipped cream........If I am as ravenous as I was today it will not be a problem eating enough calories!! Happy losses everyone, I'm off to bed, its been a very long day! ![]() Last edited by Crispy; 09-13-2010 at 09:41 PM.. |

Well I was gonna come on and complain about my .6 lb loss this morning, but I don't think I'll do that anymore
Hang in there, those that aren't seeing the scale move too much or in the wrong direction. A loss is coming! =) |

Been a long while
Well I did my first round of HCG in August of 09.... and after losing more then 30 lbs and gaining back about 14 lbs - (I actually kept all the weight off but gained all of the 14 back when I was work 7 days a week / 18 hour days for 3 months) now I''m back at it.
It seems like the second time around is harder for me... perhaps I'm less focused... but I want and need this. I just thought I would drop in and see how everyone else is doing out there, I've been struggling with my weight for a long time and I need friends that know what I mean... Hope everyone is having success on their goals. Karee

Christi - You've been seriously busy! I tried to PM you, but when I click on your name it doesn't give me the option to. Maybe you could PM me, and we can 'back and forth' that way. I'll let you know what I'm doing with the yogurt, etc. It worked, kind of. It tastes like yogurt, but is more the consistency of kefir. I'm going to do a few things different next time, but for now I'm making smoothies for the kids, doing berries and 'cream' for them, etc. Anyway, I'd love the granola recipe, and maybe even the pound cake! I love anything to do with coconut...
Thanks a bunch!
