Also, I'm really trying to hit 2000 calories for the reset!!!! So, I literally made myself eat a snack last night of SF jello and homemade whipped cream w/stevia. I was grossed out and I woke me in the middle of the night, the whip cream messing w/my stomach. ![]() So, after all that I am up 0.8 today.... which I will take because I gain water weight NO MATTER WHAT when I change a thing w/my diet. Also, I was down from my LDW 1.4. Does any of this make sense? What are your thoughts on it?!?!?!? I'm glad I have a partner in P3 right now, it seems most people are back to P2 .. or are meeting goal!!! |

Hi Droy & Emi -
Here's what I have experienced in P3...I'm on R1P3D14 so my experience is very limited compared to the pros on this forum. I have had a frustrating time with P3. I think I finally have my body figured out and have held the same weight for 2 days straight. I added things in slowly and would gain and lose daily. I couldn't figure it out. I have figured out that alcohol is a gainer for me and sets me back 2 days. 1600 cal/day is what works for me. The only nuts I've eaten are macadamia and those I ate in P2, so no problems there. I have limited my cheese to some shredded cheddar and cream cheese. HWC added to my coffe and scrammbled eggs is ok. And I'm good with EVOO. Remember, these are just for my body. Some people sail smoothly through P3from day 1. Hopefully that's what you two will experience. I have said this before but it's helpful to log everything that you eat and drink. Use ******.com for that if you don't already have another tool. Good luck and enjoy all the yummy P3 foods! |

I gained too from yesterday but not over LIW. So looks like we are right on track with eachother. Tha gain freaked me out today though, not gonna lie. I did have things on my salad that could have caused it (carrots, peas and beets) and also the sausage yesterday. I am making better choices today though. I guess it's all a learning exp.

My husband says, what did you think was going to happen going from eating like a POW to royality. P3 day one +0.8 p3 day two, no change I know it is hard not to be upset about the gain but you shouldn't be ... water weight alone and having more food in your system I believe will put something back on us!!! What did you eat yesterday, today?!?! I'm gong out to dinner tonight for the first time, wish me luck. I'm thinking Texas de Brazil ... I usually can not stand that place becuase I just don't love meat .... but in the P3 world I think it will be perfect!!!! I'm planning on having a glass of wine ... which ALWAYS makes me gain 2 lbs the next day from water weight ... do me a favor and remind of this tomorrow when I want to (The 2 lbs always disappears the next day). I'm rambling ..... sorry! Have a great day everyone!!!!BTW ... CHEESECAKE MUFFINS ROCK!!!!! Last edited by Emi; 10-15-2010 at 09:28 AM.. |

What a good day!!! Your hubby is right on the money too!!! So true, so true!! Too cute saying eating like a POW to royalty. I will have to borrow that one
Not my recipe but I have shared it in the recipe thread for hcg. My entire family loves the muffins!! DH likes to put strawberry jelly (of which we have sugar free) and I like SF chocolate chips and SF caramel sauce in mine (next time I am adding a pecan or 2 for turtle cheesecake---Yumo) , DS likes his plain! |

Had my first date night/eating out last night ... Texas de Brazil. That place is a LC'ers dream. I usually don't like all that meat but becuase of P3 I felt I was pretty safe there. Plus there salad bar has so many cheese, meats, and fun vegetables P3 friendly. I completely stuck to protocol. I did drink my first glass of wine, which I've been craving and putting off because just as I suspected I am up exactly 2 lbs due to one glass of wine, it is so consistant!!! I'm hoping to see the drop tommorrow!
Today so far: coffe w/cream and cheesecake muffin hot wings and P3 ceasar salad handful of plain almonds dinner .. who knows>!>! Sadly, beside the cheesecake muffins I don't care about eating anymore ... nothing appeals to me!!! (for the first time in my life!) I'm almost struggling to get all my calories in! Also, that awesome P2 energy is gone!!! Miss that!! Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend! |

Ha so true about going from POW-style eating to royalty. Great analogy! I'm enjoying P3 foods, but, of course like many others have said--I miss the weight loss. Ahhh well. I'll get back to it eventually, and then I'll miss P3. Grass is always greener.
The one thing I DO miss about P2 is how well I SLEPT on it---through the night, like a rock. Now, I'm back to waking up throughout the night- blah. Today was Day 6 of P3. As of yesterday I was stabilized at the exact same weight as LDW. (in a rush and forgot to weigh this a.m.) My menu for today was: Breakfast: Chocolate protein shake with coconut oil and egg added. YUM Lunch: Meatloaf made with sundried tomatoes Cauliflower "rice" Snack Tuna salad with chopped apple and celery and no-sugar mayo Dinner: Chicken breast marinated in lemon juice, olive oil and rosemary and grilled. Kale chips. Cals were about 1700. Fat was higher than normal- 60%! Carbs-10% and Protein 30% Last edited by Kiley2801; 10-19-2010 at 05:44 PM.. |

Do you guys consider yourself stabilized if you stay within your window? Or do you consider yourself stabilized if you stay the same weight for a certain amount of time? Just curious...

You are all stailizing so well!! I struggled with it so much for those 11 days I tried it!
I consider stabilizing being able to stay in the "window" with relative ease and consistency. I hope to be there soon!! I'm very happy back to P2, albeit a slightly rogue version these days. I'm not nearly as hungry as my first full round, and losing okay. I keep cream in my coffee, and am sticking to a LC version this time. I am skipping the fruit and melba toast, and trying to keep my cals under 800 on the weekdays, allowing for slightly higher cals on the weekends, depending on what we're up to. If we're around home I'll try to keep it a bit lower, but not making any promises .Just enjoying checking in to see how the "other half" live . KUTGW!!

I would consider 'in the window' to be stabilized. I think it would be hard to stay at the exact same weight for 3 weeks straight.

I'm down one from yesterday and up one from my LDW ... R1P3D8 ... before today I stayed the same for 3days. I haven't gone out of my window yet, and I'm crossing my fingers and doing everything I can to keep it up!!!!
Yesterday's food: B: 2 eggs, 3 pieces bacon, fresh raspberries, crm cheese muffin and coffee w/half and half (my biggest meal since doing hcg ... I was actually hungry for the first time) L: homemade chx salad on oopsie bread (my rolls turned out to be flat bread), choc. mousse D: ground turkey w/taco seasoning, lettuce, homemade salsa, light sour crm, light colby cheese S: (I snack throughout the day in order to increase my calories) cheese stick, Jodi's Pumpkin Pie (YUM), homemade whipped crm, cherry SF jello, fresh strawberries With ALL that food I was only 1877 calories, and I'm trying for 2000-2100!!! Can't believe I am having a problem not getting enough calories!!!! I'm SUPER excited because it was my first time adding pumpkin and I lost ... yummy yummy yummy, the things I can do w/pumpkin!!!! Today I'm trying almond flour .. I haven't had a problem w/almonds or snacking on nuts yet so hopefully it will work ... making the almond flr pizza crust for dinner. I'm ready to start losing again, so I ordered my drops a few days ago and am going to cycle back to P2 soon ... much sooner than I thought. I think I really needed a mental break from P2!!! Hope everyone is doing well!!! |
