Should I just start over?? UGH!!

*sigh* I have fallen completely off the wagon and I don't know what to do. I was doing great on the diet until I went on vacation and even then I did really well-only had a couple of slip-ups while I was gone but my body recovered just fine and I lost the 2lbs I gained. Well, after that, I don't know WHAT happened. It was like I just couldn't get things together after I got home. It was like those little cheats just destroyed my mental steadfastness or something. And I'm having a really hard time getting it back. I REALLY want to do this and stick with it because I know it works!! So my question is-should I quit the drops for a couple of days, reload, and start over?? Or should I just keep taking drops, load for a day and then get back on protocol? I've still been taking my drops, but haphazardly since I knew I wasn't eating on plan. And when I say I've not been following the diet-its not like I've been shoving cheeseburgers in my face but I certainly am not following protocol either. This has been going on for several days so I need to stop the madness and get it together. So what do you guys think is the best way??

BTW, for those that even THINK about CHEATING while on this-DON"T DO IT. If you do it once, it just makes it easier to do it again

Holly, I did something similar. I started up right after the 4th of July, started with nice results and then slipped away after some grief took over my head and in my mind I decided I might as well eat this and that, what difference does it make. Life without my dh sucks. Anyway, took me a few weeks to get my thoughts together and realize that whatever is in store for me in this life I certainly do deserve to look and feel my best. And, here I am just past 4 weeks of vlcd's and 22 pounds down!

What I did was just started over. Before I started I gave myself permission to get my head together because I didn't want to start up again and not do it 110%. Then I picked a day, got my shopping done and went for it! You can do it! Post away! I'm happy to help if I can be of support to you.

Holly -

WW gave you great advice (you'll find she often does). I have nothing to add, but just wanted to say good luck and you can do this!

Thanks so much for the encouragement. Stress has definitely been a factor over the last week. Not anything close to what you probably went through but still stressing out. I think that's what I'm going to do-just give it a little time and start over. In fact, school for my son starts tomorrow and I start back Monday (getting my masters Woohoo!) so I will be in a routine which is so much better for me. I really think I will be able to better manage things once our routine is back in place. Thanks so much. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one who's done this and that I can bounce back from it. Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome!!!

Holly,

This sounds like me, I went to Jamaica to bring my little girl back home because school is getting ready to start. My eating has just been out of control. I gained 8 of the 15 pounds I had lost back. I kept using my HCG and starting tomorrow, I'm going to jump back in and win my fight with the pounds I need to loose. I know this protocol works and with some clean eating I will drop that 8 pounds quickly. I'm going to go for a 20 pound lost in 25 days, with HCG I know I can do it. I pulled out a little 2 serving grill I purchased months ago, I'm ready to get back with it. So get back in there and do your thing. I'm also starting classes on Thursdays from 7p -9:30p, we can do this and we will.

Good Luck and hang in there; It's hard for me, but I'm not going to give up. I may be very slow getting there but I will get there.

Through Christ all things are possible.

I know exactly how it is!! I went on vacation about 2 weeks ago and am struggling with those excess pounds. They seem to NOT be going away!! LOL. I am loading today and will start the diet on Wed. I have to re-lose those pounds, but know they will be gone quickly!! Yay to us for starting over!!

Thank you so much. I really needed to hear all of this I know I have been MIA the past few days but I have had a lot going on. I had a near panic attack over my classes and had to have one of my teachers talk me down from the ledge, so to speak, and then car trouble-needed a new transmission (stupid car) and now my son is sick and has been home the past 3 days! None of these things in and of themselves are big deals but all together have made me a stressed out mess. So I haven't gotten back to the diet yet. In fact, I just couldn't even think about it for the past week or so. Its just been in the last two days I've really been considering it and looking forward to getting back to it. So my plan is to load Sat & Sun and then Mon will be day 1 of vlcd.

@walkingwoman - Thanks so much for checking in on me! I appreciate you all so much!! The support really helps, especially when you've goofed up!

When you are ready to start again you will drop those pounds quickly.
I gained 9.5 lbs back (after loading) and today is VLCD5 and I have already lost
8.5 of them. It can be a quick fix when you get back on plan.

Hi everyone! Well, I was all geared up to start my loading this weekend but it turns out I spent most of Sat. night and early Sun morning in the ER. Lucky me, I have a kidney stone. So far I have not been able to pass it. Does anybody have any home remedys for helping shrink a stone so it will pass?? Mine is 5mm which is borderline passable. But because of where it is I can't have litho on it, it's too low. They would have to do the procedure where they go in through your bladder to your ureter and laser the stone that way. And I've heard that you DO NOT want to do this if at all possible. I just started drinking lemon juice and water yesterday. I read that that is supposed to help dissolve the stone. I have only done it twice so don't know if it works yet. Any suggestions?? I'm pretty much having to stay on something for pain, which is completely frustrating since the meds make me tired or just not feel good on their own. *sigh*

I am so sorry for your pain I have kidney stones all of the time. Lemon juice does help, but for me to get the little suckers to move you just have to drink tons of water to push it thru. I ve had the laser thru the bladder, many times, it's not the worst thing, but you are totally a sleep. I dont know if you drink or not but beer really helped move mine. Ha!
I have had some up to 12 mm and more. Keep drinking fluids like crazy and move around alot instead of laying down.
Good luck hope it passes quickly.

Why re-load? That would mean you would have to re-lose weight. I am not for that! Just start fresh---start out today eating your protocol meals. And see how you do. As long as you have been taking the hcg all along you don't have to re-start. Just START! I feel for you, this protocol is hard and much easier said than done But I am going to be on P2 next week. So I will commiserate with you soon enough.

Did you start your reload the very next day or did you wait a couple of days?

Ok thanks so much I was going to just reload because I was trying to I guess reset everything and start over. I am on the drops by professional health labs and I am going to try injections after I finish with this.
