I make an awesome pumpkin cake (a cross between pumpkin pie and cheesecake) that I brought to two events last holiday season and it was eaten right up! I will look it up and post it if anyone would like it. |

Drink LOTS of water...just like any other day. Question for you...why a steak day? I would just continue high protein days until you are within your window and then just do a steak day if you go out of the window after that. KWIM?

I also have a good Thanksgiving "sausage pumpkin" soup that I like to bring that is P3 friendly that I found on this site. We should definitely start a holiday foods thread before the big events. |

Why not? It's as good a way to get below my window as any. YMMV but I've been looking to do one most of this week, I was just waiting for the random headaches (detox) to subside. ![]() Last night was a bit of a dairy overload with an abundance of cheese and yogurt. I'm all out of yogurt (my OMM was missing it this morning ) and am so in the mood for a good burger tonight! Or maybe some P3 chili, mixing in a few other veggies than just the tomato. |

Once I get to my window I can see about stabilizing, despite my technically having less than a week left for R1P3. When I get down to LDW/window I'll be waiting at LEAST an extra week to stabilize before I cycle into another P2 round. I'm hoping to do two more rounds before Christmas, my second beginning right after Thanksgiving, so I have some time to kill before starting this next round. ![]()

I figured as much. Here ya go.... I add a bit more of the spices as I like that flavor...adjust amounts to suit your tastes. The original recipe doesn't include vanilla, but I prefer it with it. What I do is double the recipe and put it in a round spring form pan and bake it for about an hour. I just keep checking it ever 5 mins or so after the 40 mins. I let it chill then remove and I frost the top with home made whipped cream and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on the top to make it a bit pretty. My SILs always ask me to make this for family functions and there are typically no leftovers!! Man...now I am craving this!! This makes a nice bfast as well. YUM!========================================== PUMPKIN BAKE 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 5 eggs 1/2 cup granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda 15 ounce can pumpkin 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla Put the cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and beat well. Pour into a 6x8" greased glass baking dish. Bake at 350º about 40 minutes or until the center feels firm and a knife inserted in the center comes out relatively clean. Cool, then chill before serving. Makes 4-6 servings ========================================== Quote:
I will be starting my next P2 *hopefully* on October 8th...so I will be in P3 for Thanksgiving and P4 during Christmas. |

I have heard that you get the best results from the biggest steak. And only do the tomato---no salad or any other veggie. Biz says she sees the best results with the tomato over the apple. The apple is necessary for your digestion. When I went out to Fats for one of my steak days they only had grape tomatoes, so I had a bunch of those!!! Be ready to chow down, girl!!!! AND be sure to order at least a pounds worth!! Enjoy!! Hey, it is better than an apple day. You can have all the liquids (water, coffee, tea) you want!! I cannot wait to see your results from this!! Good luck!!

I can't remember when I was last under 185 (and that was only for 1 day in 2003). If HCG can get me there (and beyond to my goal), I'll sing it's praises regardless of what others think!!!! ![]() |

I'm planning on keeping my old baggy clothes for as long as I can then doing something similar at work, showing up in a nice outfit one day. I'm hoping somebody notices. But my family definitely won't see me until the holidays so I'm rolling out the B-I-G guns then!! Wish I could do three rounds but the numbers don't quite add up (at least not so I can enjoy my holidays) on the calendar. Oh well, I think I can manage two rounds before the end of the year. |

You should like it...its YUMMY!
I had a menu change tonight. I made personal size almond flour pizza crusts and am using the meat sauce on it and topping with parm/asiago cheese. It is cooking right now!! ![]() I think I am going to take the leftover crust and cut it into pieces to dip into the meat sauce and bring that for lunch tomorrow. |

I am so glad that this one works! It was delish! I let it get nice and crispy. I will use this again. I got it from Comfy Belly Blog. If you want more recipes...just google that blog. Even Hubby liked it...and he is not easy to sell on "substitute" items for the real thing. Here it is: * 2 cups of almond flour * 2 eggs * 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar, Parmesan, or a mix of soft and hard cheese) * 1/4 teaspoon of basil, oregano, and garlic powder (one or more are optional) * 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt * 1 tablespoon of olive oil Preparation 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Blend all the dry ingredients. 3. Add the wet ingredients to the blended dry ingredients and blend well into 2 or 4 dough balls - depending on how big you want your pizza pies. 4. On a stick-free baking sheet or parchment paper, use your hands to flatten out a ball of dough into a circular pie. I make individual pies, but one big one will work as well. 5. Bake the pie crusts for about 15 minutes, or until they're as dark and firm as you want. The longer they stay in the oven, the crunchier the outer crust will be, on top and bottom. 6. When done, either add toppings and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, or serve as flat bread and dip into flavored oils and creamy dips. They also go great with salads. |
