Regarding coconut oil:
Virgin or extra virgin is the same w/ coconut oil... it's just a marketing toll to go extra virgin. (it ain't olive oil). If it doesn't say virgin then it's over processed and will no longer smell like coconut and is more like a hydrgenated crisco type thing. As long as it's virgin you are fine. :-) It's also great for the skin and as a massage oil. You can get it at any health food store.

Thank you sweet ladies for the info on coconut oil. I am going to try it out for sure.

Down another .5 today. 1.5 more to go to reach my goal for this round. My dd called me skinny this morning. Trust me, I am nowhere near skinny but it was nice that she noticed I'm shrinking.

WW, is that you in the profile pic? You are beautiful!

And thin! WW, are you still going to post your menus when you move on to P3?

My panic over going 2.2 over LDW was all for naught; today I'm -0.2 under LDW. This stabilizing business is fantastic!

I am at a crossroads. I really want to fit in another 23 days of P2 before Oct. 2nd (vacation). In 2 days I'll have 14 days of P3 under my belt and I seem to be stabilizing well. 2.2 over LDW was the most extreme variation I saw, and I went back down to -0.4 under LDW the next day without doing a steak day or anything.

I have a fresh bottle of Hhcg waiting, and if I start P2 in a few days I will be well into P4 by the time I go on vacation.

I think I will cycle back. I just bought a large jar of homemade salsa at the farmer's market :sob:. It will have to wait.

Will you do another load day? I am going to cycle as well and was debating the loading if I do p3 for 14 days.

Morning ladies!

WW, I agree, if that is you in your avatar, you are gorgeous! (not that we don't already know that you are gorgeous on the inside)

Well, I survived loading over the weekend, gained 2.8 pounds. Man, that's tough on the ego when you had tried so hard to lose and put it back on in a weekend.

Had my coffee with 1Tbsp of milk this morning and I'm not hungry so far. can't wait to try the P2 chili today at lunch.

I have a sore throat this morning, I can't be detoxing already, can I?

Here are my stats so far:

Load Day 1: 149.2
Load Day 2: 151.6
VLCD1: 152.0 (2.8 pounds gained during loading)

I would love to lose down to 125 this round and may keep going past the 21 days if I do really well. If not, I'll just do two separate rounds. I have two bottles of drops, so I should be good to go.

SO excited to join all your ladies!

Yes, Soonie, salt is the debbil, but at least water takes care of it. Drink up!

Ladidah, great job on stabilizing. Sounds like you did a good thing by jumping into P3. Your bod needed a rest. I think you will do great in your second round.

MBB, from what I've read, just add those fats slowly unless you have alot of good reading material you want to catch up on in the bathroom.

Brenda, so close to goal! WOOT!

Colleen, you actually LOST after your second loading day?

I felt sick the first 2 days of P3. The reintroduction of fat can be tricky. Dawn said take probiotics to help. I didn't and it went away after 2 days, but next time I will take it slowly and add back one fat at a time. I used cream in my coffee, and had an omelette with ham AND cheese AND sour cream...

I wasn't too worried about eating and gaining. I missed my fat, dairy and salsa (mixed veggies) and I know I overate. But like I said above, the stabilizing is amazing! It is like my body is keeping itself in check, and once I got over the "OMG, I can eat fats and dairy" and returned to more normal eating, it hasn't been too difficult.

I think I will. I don't think I loaded correctly my first round - I lost 1.8 lbs. I will do one load day and then cycle back. I'm just not sure about which days to dose. I'll probably start the day before my load day so I'll have 48 hours of HCG in my system. I just hope I'm doing the right thing, but I really want to be 10-15 lbs lighter when I go on vacation. I also want to be in P4 by then. Cooking is going to be out of the question, and wine will be involved.

If I do feel a need for soda, I grab a Diet Rite. No carbs, cals, or sodium. Salt is evil for me, too.

Good morning fellow losers.

I'm done with my first P2:

Round 1: down 16 pounds in 21 VLC days (-13 from pre-load)
week 1: -9
week 2: -4.5
week 3: -2.5

Short rounds are the way to go for me. Looking forward to P3 in two days.

Having taco salad for lunch today - it's my third time in a row! I am so over cooking right now! Had to hide the taco meat from DH & kids...they can eat the refried beans!

Weight is perfect at LDW - despite ovulating yesterday and 1040 calories and 40 carbs. Yesterday was my first official P3 day - but I had done 700 cal's and 900 cals the two days before.

I'm really treating P3 as my normal Atkins maintenance, since I've had so much experience with that the past 3 years, and I know what to do.

No stomach problems...but I have not pushed the fats in any big quantity yet. Have added sour cream and cheese (and a square of 85% chocolate

My DH stole the last square of smoked gruyere from me. He bought it like the first day of vlcd, and left 2 ounces left in the fridge the whole time for me to stare at. Then when he smelled that I had melted an ounce to cook, he stole the other. Really? You don't touch the food I wanted you to eat for 35 days, then eat the last bit the first day I can? Really?

Vent over! Going to try for 1100-1200 calories today and see how that goes.

Good Morning ladies! Today I am working in earnest to get my weight back within range. Breakfast was sf coffee egg cream. Lunch and dinner will both be 2-3 eggs with some grapefruit. Also tons of water!!! I am determined to get back to my LDW, I don't want to screw this up anymore!

Oh, I made something so yummy over the weekend. It was P3 lasagna, this is how I made it:

Browned a lb of 93% ground beef with chopped onion and fresh garlic. Then layered it in a cassorole dish with a little cottage cheese, tomato puree, chopped mushrooms, italian spices, fresh spinach, and topped with shredded cheddar. Baked until heated through and cheese on top is nice and crispy. This was so good and my family loved it too!

I am on my second day of not dosing. First day wasn't hard. I am sure today will be fine. I am going to be busy at work all day so that will help. I have some ribeyes defrosting in the fridge for supper tomorrow. Breakfast will be a bacon, egg, and cheese omlete. I need to stop at the store tonight for some P3 essentials. I have lost a pound since my LDW. I guess the extra cushion will be nice.

I am only .6 pounds from the 40 pound club! 13 short days ago I joined the 30 pound club. I must say that HCG is not for the weak, but if you can muster up the willpower to stick it out (even for a short round) it is well worth it!

I'm counting the days until I start!! I will start loading this Fri. (maybe Sat., waiting on a friend). But, gosh I sure have been treating these waiting days as load days. I'm sad that I will be starting out with about 7 EXTRA lbs. to lose than when I first decided to do hhcg. Oh well, in 3 weeks I will have forgotten that!!!

So many releasers and transitioners!! I can't wait until I'm one of you saying I'm releasing and melting!! You've all inspired me!

Going camping tomorrow so I will see ya'll when I get back!

MMB, you've been dreaming of eating avocados! So sorry it is making you not feel good! Surely this will pass with a couple of days of P3 under your belt.

Don't let P3 scare you. I haven't been there, but I am going to trust the process.

WOW!! You lost nearly 40lbs this round?!?! That is fabulous!!

I agree...it is not for the weak. I will be doing short rounds because I just cannot see myself eating like this for more than 3 weeks. I am bored and what I am missing are the good foods I ate following Atkins which I think will fit nicely into P3.

Woohoo WTG!!!

Re: the dosing while on your period. People seem to be in two camps but most that I've seen here continue dosing on through, at least with the hhcg. I'm not sure about prescription-ers, but if my period came I'd just continue my daily drops as I've no idea really how much HCG my body is really getting otherwise. I was lucky this round as I began mine right after my period ended so didn't have to worry much about it. HTH.
