Lala, congrats on getting through the detox without Nyquil. I'm starting to feel better, although one of my glands is still a bit swollen.

Man, I am having trouble getting to noon without eating something. I have my coffee in the morning and didn't want to get in the habit of having a snack in the morning since it seems people do better on just two meals a day. I can do this!

I had planned an egg day yesterday which went fine until suppertime when we had my kids orientation in the next town. So, instead of eggs I had a small handful of mac nuts and 1/4 grapefruit on the way down, then when I got home I had a bowl of sliced organic strawberries with 0% fat greek yogurt and vanilla stevia. It was yummy!

I honestly did not think I would be down this much, what a fantastic surprise! Today I am going to be super good, and keep the menu similar to yesterday so I can hopefully get back down to LDW for good!
Woo Hoo 3.4lbs on an egg CD is amazing! KUTGW!

So if I understand correctly we don't want too much exercise in P3 because we want our weight to stabilize without depending on alot of extra activity? I wanted to get back to my hot yoga classes, but they are 90 minutes long and can burn over 1000 calories per class. I'm thinking it might be best to stay away while in P3???
NO EXERCISE DURING P3! You are right, you don't want your body to think it needs that level of exercise to stay at your LDW. Hold off until P4!

I have a confession to make. I've been struggling with hunger and the other HCG site I go to really recommends using the miracle noodles, so I decided to try them to see if they would help. They have, and I've been losing (3.4 lbs. over the last 2 days). I know everyone is different but wanted to let you all know the results of my experiment. Oh, and I've given up the grissini since I've added in the noodles.

Funny story: last night I made my dinner: garlic & celery braised in bragg's aminos + some chicken broth & water, some cayenne pepper, added my chicken, a bag of the noodles and some chopped cilantro. It's kind of like a chicken chow mein. My boyfriend wanted to try it and when he grabbed a forkful he got a piece of my chicken. I made him put it back!! I told him sorry, I only get 3.5 oz. I can't afford to give any up!!

BTW - my bofriend is a chef and he really liked the dish and wants me to make it for him

Off to get some work done. Happy releasing everyone!
Woo Hoo WTG on the 1.4lb release! KUTGW and I am glad the noodles don't bother you! I have yet to try them but might during my next round.

YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

I've always been a breakfast eater too, and ate a lot of apples for breakfast during P2. I think waiting as long as you can is better though.

Quick fly by....

Today is my first VLCD. So far so good. I am up 1.7lbs from my load days.
I can do this.
This is my first day back from maternity leave. They already approached me about my schedule that had been in place for a couple of years now. I am stressing.

I've read alot of the posts and I like the advice here.

I'm on vlcd3 today. I'm down 3.4 lbs from pre-loading weight. I'm having problems with hunger though. I AM hungry, not just head hunger. Today I'm following the instructions of the bottle and switching from 10 drops 3x a day to 6 drops 6x a day. My stomach is growling and I am soooo hungry. Gonna go eat lunch now and maybe that will help. Gosh, this is not so great.

Are you activating your drops? You need to tap the bottom of the bottle 10x off your palm to activate.

I was quite hungry in the first few days, stomach growling, miserable. I also had low-grade headaches constantly. I took asprin and it helped somewhat. It was probably day 5 before I felt good. Last night was my first night of really fabulous sleep. So it takes a while for your body to adjust. Hang in there!

Some people are just hungry for the first few days (or a week!). I hope it goes away soon. Until then, drink lotsa hot tea and water. It will help fill that belly!!

Gosh, where has this day gone?? Well, in a nutshell, Congrats to all our Releasers! Welcome to everyone that is new or still lurking and here's my news. I'm down 22 pounds in 27 vlcds. I cannot believe it is just 4 weeks ago that I started my first vlcd. I'm stunned at my results and am happily sitting here in loose size 4 jeans as I type!

Ah, I know why I've been so busy this AM. I'm helping my dd with the plan and she keeps texting and emailing me

Can I have sweet and low? I left my stevia at home. They have sweet and low here at work. I'd love a cup of black tea with ice.

I was in 8's and M-L's on tops (I carry my weight upper and middle when I gain) and I'm now back in my smallest tops and I as of this morning have 3 more pairs of pants that aren't quite there yet. They fit but don't look the way I want them to just yet. A few more days and I'll be there

Hi Katy!!!!
Thanks. I had a 9.3lb 22" baby boy. He will be 3mo on the 21st. Time sure does fly. He's HUGE now. He is named after his Daddy, Joseph Ray Mc****, III so I had no say so in the matter.

I may start a journal. I am going to have hubby take pics of me tonight.
I hear it takes a couple of days for the hunger to go away. It's ALMOST lunch time and I am starving!! Coming down off my load days is doing me in.

Chouter, I've had headaches too.

I didn't know I was suppose to "shake" my drops b4 each time. I ate and I'm still hungry. Hanging in there is gonna be hard when the belly is making so much noise. Ohhhh this stinks! But I can do this for 3 weeks....just 3 weeks. I'll just keep saying that and maybe I'll believe it.

Welcome! I've heard that quite a few people feel hungry,... particularly in the first week. I myself didn't experience actual hunger. I realized what an emotional eater I have become though. Hope the different dosing helps, sorry I don't really have any advice.

Tay, I was having trouble with hunger, but when I started taking potassium (99 mg. 3-4 time a day) it has really helped.

Just wanted to chime in that you don't shake your drops, you tap the bottom of the bottle on your palm 10x - this activates them. Also, you could try spacing out your food until you feel the full effect of the hcg. Like have an apple mid-morning, then lunch, then 1/2 grapefruit in between lunch and dinner. You could save your melba toast for when you feel hungry too. Also, ACV (Braggs) is believed to help with hunger and detox. Are you taking supplements? In P&I it is recommended to take potassium for sure ( I take 2 tablets with each meal = 396 mg/day) This is equivalent to one banana. I also take B-12 and a multivitamin. Good Luck!

Wow! Truly inspiring!

I'm down 9 but not really noticing a change in my clothes yet. I carry my weight between my waist & knees, so it may take a few more pounds for me to start going down in size.

Although I've always had a big butt, my stomach was always flat as a pancake without any effort. That all changed a few years ago when I hit my mid-40's. Now I have a lovely little roll above my belly button. It's getting smaller, I can't wait for it to be GONE!!!
