WW, is that you in the profile pic? You are beautiful!
Its a great when people notice you're shrinking So close to goal! How much longer is your round?

Sorry you are feeling sick. Some do feel sick with the added fats. I'd make sure you double on on protein and add some fats, maybe take a digestive enzyme to help with the transition? Hope you feel better soon!

I had 1/2 avocado with salt for breakfast, coffee with yummy cream!

Lunch I had a grilled chicken salad. I feel overfull from not even finishing my salad. It's so much more food than I am used to. I had what they called a pico de gallo dressing with it, but it didn't taste like that to me. Tasted more like a dijon mustard dressing. I just hope there was no sugar in it.

Dawn suggested a probiotic. I meant to take some this morning, but I forgot. I will take some when I get home for sure!

I thought for sure that I would want to eat tons of food today, but I just don't want to (which is good!).

So I have really been struggling with hunger these past few days. I went on another HCG forum (the site that I got my spray from has an on-line support group) and low & behold, I read that if you are dealing with hunger to take potassium and use sea salt.

I'd been taking potassium but had forgotten it these past few days, and I also had been using sea salt but then switched to Kosher.

I took 200 mg. of potassium this morning and the hunger is not as bad, and will also be switching back to the sea salt. Hope this solves it for me - I have 10 days P2 left and I REALLY want to see the 140s!

Weight is perfect at LDW - despite ovulating yesterday and 1040 calories and 40 carbs. Yesterday was my first official P3 day - but I had done 700 cal's and 900 cals the two days before.

I'm really treating P3 as my normal Atkins maintenance, since I've had so much experience with that the past 3 years, and I know what to do.

No stomach problems...but I have not pushed the fats in any big quantity yet. Have added sour cream and cheese (and a square of 85% chocolate

My DH stole the last square of smoked gruyere from me. He bought it like the first day of vlcd, and left 2 ounces left in the fridge the whole time for me to stare at. Then when he smelled that I had melted an ounce to cook, he stole the other. Really? You don't touch the food I wanted you to eat for 35 days, then eat the last bit the first day I can? Really?

Vent over! Going to try for 1100-1200 calories today and see how that goes.
Make him go buy you more!! What do you think you'll end up with calorie wise to maintain? Have fun today!

Baked until heated through and cheese on top is nice and crispy. This was so good and my family loved it too!
That sound delish! Another to tuck away for when I am at P3! You will be back to LDW soon! Curious why you didn't lose a fattier ground beef for P3?

Also try Yerba Mate tea. That helps a lot with hunger. Doesn't taste great, but with a little bit of stevia it's ok.

I have lost a pound since my LDW. I guess the extra cushion will be nice.

I am only .6 pounds from the 40 pound club! 13 short days ago I joined the 30 pound club. I must say that HCG is not for the weak, but if you can muster up the willpower to stick it out (even for a short round) it is well worth it!
Wow, so close to the 40lb club. Great job!! Enjoy your P3 tomorrow.

So skip a day each week on a 28 day round or not? What do you think?

Here's my day. I'm here late to the party because my fire alarm was going off in my guesthouse and it scared the living daylights out of me! yikes! I cannot even imagine a real fire! Anyway, spent oodles of time with ADT trying to figure out what triggered it and it remains a mystery I sure hope it doesn't do that again. Yikes. On top of that, my scale batteries are dead and my love affair with my scale these days is suffering miserably So, off to the store in a bit for new batteries and keeping my fingers crossed I don't get another alarm going off and ending up with the fire dept at my house while I'm gone

On a positive note, since I couldn't weigh I tried on all my pants in my closet. Out of 30 pairs,15 fit very nicely, 10 are way, way too big and not wearable (will donate them today when I go to the store) and 4 are 'just about there' and 1 pair is what the heck was I thinking when I bought these. Um yeah. They are really cute but gosh, I'm thinking I'd need to lose another 8-10 to wear them and then nothing else would fit These were a purchase when I got carried away losing weight a few years ago. Not pretty and not flattering but it was fun for the minute or two it lasted. No thanks. I am on the fence as to whether or not I should put them in my donations bag and call it a day for them. hmm. Things that go through my head on a Monday morning.
Not a great way to start your day with the alarm! Awesome news on all of your clothes though! Makes donating fun when they're too big now!

My day

Well yesterday unfortunately I woke up short of breath, had problems through out the night after I had my chammomile tea and half grapefruit Saturday night......so not sure which one I reacted to but won't be repeating either any time soon and will probably just not have either again since I'm not sure what caused it.......went to the concert but didn't stay for the entire thing since I kept having to take my inhaler, was crazy shakey from the treatments I took on the drive.......we did get to see the one we really went for......

Needless to say when I have breathing problems I'm not hungry and combine that with the hcg it was really hard to choke down my food yesterday......I did it though. Ate my dinner late on the drive home instead of the planned drive in!

Still a bit of trouble today but not as bad so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be good.

Today is R1 P2 D5 and VLCD #3. Plan to have my water and tea's, already had my ACV. Lunch will be chicken and the cucumbers that I couldn't finish last night. Snack strawberries. Dinner will be haddock, lemon juice, pepper and radishes which I think I will do all in the oven? Had planned asparagus to go with the haddock but hubby forgot to go to the store for me after his appt today and we don't live very close to the stores......snack will be a small granny smith apple......

Did anyone do shots for a short round? I'm planning 28 days of shots and haven't decided if I should skip a day each week like people do for long rounds or not? I wanted 4 full weeks of the shots and then the 3 without and to be able to start P3 on a day I don't work 12 hours as well as hoping to not be ill from adding fat for the concert we're going to for my 40th birthday in September.....what do you guys think? I do plan to then do 3 weeks of P3, 3 and 1/2 weeks P4 before starting a 2nd and hopefully last round same in length.......skip or not?

Have a great day everyone!

Load day 1 Initial weight
Load day 2 +5.2
VLCD#1 -1.3
VLCD #2 -3.9
VLCD #3 -1.6

R1 P2 D5 Total - 1.6 from pre-load initial weight

I have absolutely no idea. I can tell you that before...at 200 pounds...1400 calories low carb is where I maintained. It's not a lot of food.

That's one of the reasons I decided to try the HCG, to see if it could do anything for my metabolism.

However, not expecting miracles, even as a child I ate very little...and I have a daughter who is the same.
