Chili stall people - it may just be a coincidence that you stall after eating it (in my case, I think it was), but try making it with steak instead of ground beef and see if that makes a difference before writing it off altogether. I buy lean round, trim off all fat, then dice it up small. The chili is great that way too, and you can control the fat quantity better.

I lost the lbs I put on loading, and a bit more. I'm going geocaching all day today and it's supposed to be warm so we'll see how that affects me. I'm packing my insulated lunch bag and bringing water and hhcg drops.

I know it is'nt strict protocol....but I use the 93/7 ground turkey when i make the chili and have NEVER had a problem with it.

Want to join me? You could end it the 21st for 26 days and be on P3 for Thanksgiving.......of course you may need less days too! Keep your spirits up girl, you really are doing well!

I'll probably be doing two rounds, just will be waiting until after my bday. We're going to see Dane Cook on November 6. I'll probably make that my loading weekend.

Those are long work days, especially with that extra commute time.

R1P2VLCD7 and I'm down another 0.6 pounds today. I may just make my second meal a shake since that seems to work best for me.

Add some sweetener. That's what I did with my club soda and lemon juice last night. I could not find any DaVinci's anywhere!

Another meal I can't wait to try. I think I will add the spinach "chips" to it (not directly IN the shake, but as a side)

Why are nuts P4? Seems as if they would fit in the P3 category (no starch or sugar). I know peanuts do not fit in P3, but I was so looking forward to my beloved sunflower seeds in P3.

Thanks for the chili tip! Nice job taking off the loading weight + I think I am a couple of days behind you so we'll be going through the VLCDs together!

So today starts my R1P2VLCD1. I sit with my black coffee. I can do ANYTHING for 23 days! My new mantra.

So many P2 meals I have wanted to try so I'm not sure what my menu will be. I already had DH grill up a couple of chic breasts. I think I will have an apple/melba toast before church. Going to go check out the P2 menu thread then decide the rest of the day.

Best releases to all!!

Kandi, this is the link to the shake. I made it last night and it was great. So much better than eating a meal. Just read half way down the page for the recipe. Note that Dawn actually makes two of the recipe to use up her protein portion. I just used the whole 3/4 c. of cottage cheese and froze my strawberries and added the spinach.

If the link doesn't get you directly to page I have saved its on page nine:

http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/hc...es-only-9.html.

I am down a pound this morning. I am pleased I am back on track from two small losses.

I can't believe nuts are not on P3! I have eaten them 3 times so far. Only 1 servings worth each time. I have only eaten almonds. I knew peanuts were not supposed to be eaten, but had no idea about other nuts. How in the heck did I get in my mind that they were ok?

I make mine by chopping the steak in tiny bits too.

Thanks for the link.. sounds disgusting but I will take everyone's word and believe it is tasty. I will try this next P2. It was hard for me to eat my chicken for lunch towards the end. I thought you had to measure 3 1/2 ounces of cottage cheese just like the meat. I only came up w/ about 1/2 cup. So it really is 3/4 cup?

I am down to 229. The steak day worked for me. The steak tasted wonderful. Can't believe that I didn't really need to do it though. The hot lemon water didn't do anything for me. I will try it again but definitly add the sweetner next time. I could barely choke it down.

Oh, what a drag! have you tried other soup type dishes? I'm thinking of making a P2 friendly avgalemono soup with spinach and meringue cookies next week I was going to make it this week but I got paranoid about eggs so tossed all the eggs I had out. If it turns out yummy I will post it for others to try.

Spring cleaning I love it! That's a riot

I made my dd's frozen meals tonight. Here's what I made my little darling. BTW, she's recipricating by providing me with personal shopper skills. She's done this for me before and it's so fun. I give her a debit card with a set amount on it to use. She picks out clothes, shoes, accessories and brings them to my house for me. It's great because she picks out things I wouldn't necessarily pick for myself but they usually turn out to be really fab outfits Have to give her my new sizes

So, here's her meals:
4 frozen chili meals
4 steaks in marinade grilled with grilled asparagus
Grilled shrimp kebabs 2 dill/lemon seasoning, 2 cajun seasoning, spinach
2 lobster tails grilled with grilled asparagus
4 chicken breasts in the ginger marinade, spinach
2 corned beef with steamed cabbage
10 containers of sliced frozen gala apples
10 containers of sliced frozen strawberries

I've warned her the corned beef might be iffy but I checked the nutritional info thoroughly and no sugars, starches so?? and it is beef So, she's got 20 meals and should be in good shape to stay on plan. I made her some icecubes with lemon slices in them, put together a container of condiments (lemon juice packets, salt, pepper, hot sauce) and got her 3 cases of water. So, she's set and had best plan on spending plenty of time researchng my new wardrobe So, I guess we're both spoiled I made her dbf some meals too but nothing anyone here wants to read about
Sounds like she gets the best end of the deal though! Yummy on plan meals that she doesn't have to shop for or really clean up after and shopping on someone else's dime? NICE! You're amazing WW

R1P2VLCD7 and I'm down another 0.6 pounds today. I may just make my second meal a shake since that seems to work best for me.
Oh fun seeing Dane Cook! Is that your birthday present? Will make a good loading weekend for sure! Yay for being down today!!

Glad the steak day worked and you enjoyed it! I use juice of half a lemon in the hot water and add liquid lemon stevia so its not as bad! As for nuts I had read as long as they were not peanuts and the others were free of starch & sugar that it was a YMMV on P3......some can tolerate them and others gain and can't seem to stabilize.......I'd say they're working for you!

I am going to try to have a great day today so that tomorrow I will finally hit the 160s. We have friends coming tomorrow whom we saw 2 weeks ago when we were camping in Montana, and I was in the 180s then. I'm hoping they can see a difference!

Sunday lonely Sunday

Well its day 11 for me (VLCD 9) and I stayed the same today. Of course naturally I was a bit disappointed but I really can't complain since I have lost every day except after the first load day until today.......some were only 0.2 but yeah those feel better than this! Hoping my body catches up quickly and I start inching back down tomorrow! I'm still a teeny tiny bit above average so while I wanted my average to be much more, I'll take it

Today was supposed to be a lazy day to lounge with hubby and watch movies. He heads back to school tomorrow, full time with a crazy busy load so it was the last opportunity for it for a long time without him studying during......instead he just headed to the store for the second time (we don't live close to anything) to get more parts for a busted pipe that he will be fixing today.......I'm disappointed and he's very ornry.......not the day either of us had hoped for

Well, I'm happy to see the 130's today. I had a .6 release!

I keep trying to decide whether to extend my round until I lose it all, or take an interruption. Now that I'm not hungry, I think I'll try to push through it. It's really hard though because we have such a social life that revolves around food.

It's starting to take a toll on the family. It would be nice to just go to a restaurant and order a salad. They refuse to eat out in front of me and it stinks to not eat together as a family. Can't wait for P3!

Woohoo! The thread is full of Releasers! It's so encouraging! Anyone having a stabilizing day, hang in there! The big losses are so addictive it's hard sometimes to not have a loss but the inches are going byebye!

I'm down .5 today for 24.5 loss in 33 vlcds:Clap: I'll take it! Half a pound away from my goal weight I'm still bouncing around the idea of doing another round of P2 after I complete P3(still haven't decided when to start that!). Anyway, I have question regarding interruptions. If I want to do an interruption, do I still do the two days of no dosing, 500 cals then do the interruption? or just jump on in without the two days? curious. I'm considering an interruption for a week or so, then back to P2 to kick a few more to the curb before doing a final P3 and then P4. Thanks for any help. Hope everyone has a fabulous day!

I think you do the 2 days of 500 with no dosing, but hopefully someone with more knowledge will pop in and help. An interruption sounds like a really interesting idea! You've given us something else to consider!

That's what I thought but wasn't sure. Hmm. Lots to think about. Whatever I decide to do I'll post about it. The good, the bad and the indifferent

Oh. My. Gosh. I want cream in my coffee so bad I could cry. If I were to cheat, this is what I would have. But since I am only .2 away from a new decade, there's no way I'm cheating. I'll just cry instead.
