Good morning, all!
On VCLD8 I dropped .7 lbs. to a weight of 173.0. I had a fantastic week one on this program, for a net loss of 7.3 lbs, total loss of 11.9 lbs.!! I hope week two is good too, but I am sure not expecting those kinds of numbers. My goal this week is to loose five pounds. Fingers crossed! ![]() ![]() ![]() STATS so far: Thursday, 8/5 Got drops 181 Friday, 8/6 Load day 1 Saturday, 8/7 Load day 2 185.6 (+4.6) Sunday 8/8 VLCD1 181 (-4.6) Monday, 8/9 VLCD2 179.4 (-1.6) Tuesday, 8/10 VLCD3 177.8 (-1.6) Wednesday, 8/11 VLCD4 176.6 (-1.2) Thursday, 8/12 VLCD5 175.7 (-.9) Friday, 8/13 VLCD6 174.7 (-1) Saturday, 8/14 VLCD7 173.7 (-1) Sunday, 8/15 VLCD8 173 (-.7) Loss to-date: 8.0 net; 12.6 total |

Hey Everyone,
After a few bumpy days I was down 2 lbs. this morning. Yeah!! Today I am going to eat the exact same menu I had yesterday to see if I can have a repeat weigh in tomorrow! ![]() I can't believe so many are moving into P3 already - it seems like the 3 weeks have flown by. Except I know that is not how it feels!! I have 8 days left of VLCD with hHCG, then my 2 non-dosing days, then P3 here I come. I already know I will be doing another round starting Oct. 1, and thinking of doing 3 load days. I've been struggling with hunger so I want to make sure I load really well. I may also trade in my HCG spray for some drops. We'll see... Congrats to all the releasers and welcome to everyone who is joining.... And I agree, WW if that is you in your avi....WOWZA!!! ![]() |

Man, I can't wait for P3 to be here already! I don't have internet at home anymore, so I can't post during the weekends, so here is my weight loss update. Saturday morning -2lbs, Sunday morning -.5lbs, and Monday morning -0lbs. I am finding that the days I don't lose any weight are REALLY REALLY hard for me. Not only do I want to quit, but I feel like I'm hungrier! I'm about to take some more drops and that I can make it til noon for lunch, if not I'll be having it at 11. Sigh. Sooo hungry. Anyhoo, a question about P3 and interruptions. As I said above, I gain 4 lbs "waiting", so I haven't been all that excited over just 7 lbs lost. I am pretty sure that I CAN NOT do this for any longer than the 23 days, but do not believe that I will have lost enough weight to be satisfied maintaining for 6 weeks. What is the shortest & longest times you can do an interruptions and go back to P2? What about the loading days? And how long do I have to continue with P2 when I go back? |

LB quite a few people cycle from a 3-week P3 right back into P2, provided they managed to stabilize in P3 (although that doesn't seem to be absolutely necessary). Some also take a "break" and start right up again with P2 without doing official load days. Simeon's Protocol says it's okay to do the first one but the details for the second are a bit squiffy.
Let me tell you, my first few days were AWESOME!! But weeks 2 and 3 sucked so bad because I felt like I was at a standstill. Too many days of .2 or .4 (or 0 but I never EVER let the scale give me that, instead tricking it so I lost something; I eventually stopped weighing myself because it was all too much stress). It wasn't until these last couple days that I've finally seen any losses, and now that I'm in my 2-day P2/P3 transition I'm PROUD of the 14.2 lbs I've lost in 3 weeks. There is no way, NONE, I could have lost those pounds otherwise, not even on (slow-moving) Atkins. I can't wait to start P3, but just two days ago I was seriously considering scrapping my last two days and leaping into P3. Well, I've lost almost 3 lbs in those two days - who on earth am I to rush these things? Go girl. You can DO this.

Thanks Sassy & Torister - I will dose through. I think otherwise I'd be too hungry. I am hungrier than normal. At least I don't have major cravings for fast food and chocolate like I normally do! |

Geez, I won't be winning any awards for my ability to respond to posts and cut and paste.
Here's my day. I'm here late to the party because my fire alarm was going off in my guesthouse and it scared the living daylights out of me! yikes! I cannot even imagine a real fire! Anyway, spent oodles of time with ADT trying to figure out what triggered it and it remains a mystery I sure hope it doesn't do that again. Yikes. On top of that, my scale batteries are dead and my love affair with my scale these days is suffering miserably So, off to the store in a bit for new batteries and keeping my fingers crossed I don't get another alarm going off and ending up with the fire dept at my house while I'm gone On a positive note, since I couldn't weigh I tried on all my pants in my closet. Out of 30 pairs,15 fit very nicely, 10 are way, way too big and not wearable (will donate them today when I go to the store) and 4 are 'just about there' and 1 pair is what the heck was I thinking when I bought these. Um yeah. They are really cute but gosh, I'm thinking I'd need to lose another 8-10 to wear them and then nothing else would fit These were a purchase when I got carried away losing weight a few years ago. Not pretty and not flattering but it was fun for the minute or two it lasted. No thanks. I am on the fence as to whether or not I should put them in my donations bag and call it a day for them. hmm. Things that go through my head on a Monday morning.Last edited by walkingwoman; 08-16-2010 at 10:39 AM.. |

Cool! Are you doing a short or long round?
Quote:
Wouldn't that be sweet? If I do...I will have been in FOUR different decades during this round of P2. It is out of my hands. I will follow the protocol and hope for the best. Its all I can do. ![]() ![]() WW...your pic is gorgeous! I seriously doubt there was much needing done to it. I do hope you post your P3 menus. I think that would be helpful for all of us as we go forward. I will post mine as well...which will in no way be as yummy as yours are...shoot you even make P2 sound tasty. ![]() |

You guys are awesome!
I had a grilled chicken salad for lunch today. I feel overstuffed, and I didn't even finish a small salad. My body just isn't used to overeating like I used to! My tummy is really bloated and crampy from the fats I have eaten. I actually miss p2. I am planning a light dinner tonight. |

That wins for nonscale victory of the day! Oh, in other 'trying stuff on in my own closet' news, I tried on a corset set that I bought from VS that I thought would fit ages ago and lo and behold it didn't and I didn't think I had a prayer at ever wearing it? Yep. Fits. Guess who's bf is going to have a very pleasant afternoon tomorrow? ![]() I LOVE closet shopping! Tomorrow I'm trying on all my tops. I already did my dresses and they all fit fine and look cute too. ![]() |

I am back from the middle school and packing up for a night of working at Starbucks! Yeah me. Anyhoo, here are the results of my steak day---3 lbs down!!! I have not had a result like that ever from a steak day. That is wonderful. And well worth not eating for the day!! Still way out of my window, but it is a nice start!!!

I have decided to join this weekly thread!
I'm on day 17 and I'm calling goal- I've been at 100.2 for 2 days now. My goal was 100, but I feel good and even my tightest pants are getting comfortable, so I don't need to be any smaller... plus .2 lb is pretty insignficant Since I need to dose until Friday, I am bumping up my protein, adding a veggie and introducing fat/oil 1 tsp at a time. Today I had 1 tsp heavy cream in my coffee, and will have 1/2c lowfat cottage cheese with my dinner. I was starving before dinner yesterday, so I ate early and had lettuce AND tomato salad w/ a little low cal/carb salad dressing AND added a pinch of shredded cheese.... whoa nelly! It was darned tasty! In preparation for P3, I have wrote out menus for my first 5 days, to make sure I introduce foods back in slowly. I am looking forward to P3 next Monday! |
