I am *so* glad you have gotten your dosage amount figured out. We are all so different in what is the "sweet spot" as far as that goes. It is amazing isn't it? NO HUNGER!! How great is that?!?!? Nice loss btw!

I am down 1 lb this morning from yesterday, so I am happy. But you know what's weird? I actually ate MORE calories yesterday than the day before! But I didn't have any breadsticks, tomatoes, or zevia cola. Anyway, I'm happy with it.
Woo Hoo! So glad that the scale is trending downward again! I think you found your culprits! KUTGW!

I had wanted to get to 147 but don't know if that will happen - that's 6.8 lbs and TOM is on the way and I always get super bloated, etc. So, I MAY extend my P2 a bit - I'll just wait and see.

Here's to a great day of releasing to everyone!!

My hubby is a Special Ed High School Teacher and will help with the lesson plans. The site looks really informative.

I am starting VLCD3. I was down 1.5lbs this morning. That's a total of 5lbs from my load weight.

I am going to attempt the chili recipe today.

How does everyone deal with get together's? My girlfriend is having a BBQ for her son's B-day on Sunday. I told her I was on a specialized diet and that I would need to bring my own food and NO ALCOHOL for me. She was trying to convince me that summer wasn't over yet and blah, blah, blah.... She is not intentionally trying to sabotage, she just doesn't get it.
Woo Hoo Susie! A 1.5lb release is awesome! KUTGW!

There are lots of sites on the internet with ideas on homeschooling not only preschoolers but older kids too. Have fun teaching your daughter!

As far as get togethers, I take my own meat, make sure they are having a green salad (bring one if not) and take my own dressing. I keep meat cooked up in the freezer so I can just grab and go! And I like the idea of the detox diet! I don't mind nosy people, the pushy ones really bother me!

I know I've said this before....but I looooove that tracker.....it figures everything out for you....18 more days on P2 for me...it feels like forever...but then I think..wow..Sunday will make it a week and that seems fast.
Great job losing the 6 pounds! Have fun with your boyfriend

3.5 oz xl ground beef

Your menu looks nice and clean. Are those veggies satisfying you? I'd need more cabbage. Love my cabbage!

The accountability here is great and I'm so happy for the sharing of experiences. You sound like you're really in a good place to do this and I think that is KEY. Wishing you continued great releases!

Getting the calories right for the day was a bit of a challenge for me and I'm sure it's a learning process but it makes me a bit nervous. I did use fit day yesterday. That is another reason I didn't make chili. I really wanted an apple baked with the melba and spices so the chili would have put me over the 500 cals.
Mary, ****** can be tricky and may not accurately reflect what you are eating. I go by my food labels and enter them as custom foods just because of that. My chicken breast for example is at least 30 calories less than the one I originally thought was correct on ******. On this plan 30 cals can make or break ya! hahaha.

OMG!

I have been STARVING beyond belief today! I took 10 drops this am as usual but just took 5 more. It seemed to help a little.

I'm so tired of being hungry! Typically it's not this bad, I've tried increasing and it didn't seem to help that much, so I went back down. Maybe I should keep playing with it.
Thankfully my meals are satisfying.

Can't wait for P3! One more week.

Congrats on your release!!! hope you enjoy the chili! I went to my first social get together not held in a restaurant last night and just mingled with a glass of water with lemon. I don't think anyone really even noticed. They were into their own food too much and who can really say anything to somebody for not having booze? lol..ok,maybe a joke or two but after that it's all good. Since you've already let your friend know you're bringing your own food, it shouldn't be an issue at all. If she says anything at all I think I'd just nicely tell her that you'd appreciate her support as she has made such a lovely spread it is very hard to resist, but you're committed to your eating plan. The end. lol..the woman I went to the party with last night carried on and on about how proud she was of me for resisting the delicasies and fine wines all the way home. and of course went on and on about how she just 'has to do something' about her weight and how 'easy' it must be for me being widowed and all...nice, huh? I got her point cos I am lucky in the sense I don't have to have other foods around for others in my household but can't stand to be told how lucky I am to be alone

Ok, I hope I didn't miss anyone! So much to catch up on by the time I get online in the AM's! Today is R1P2VLCD30 and I am now down 22.5 so I had a .5 release overnight. Thank goodness? I guess. I had decided last night that if the scale stayed the same I would do my 2 days of no doses and move on to P3 for 2 weeks and return to P2 again to get these last few under control. I may do that anyway, but for today I will continue. Last Thursday night I released 1.5 for some reason so maybe I'll get lucky and do it again this week!

We may also be looking at a couple more weddings in the next couple of years. I know that my middle one it looking at rings for his girl friend and my (youngest) daughter's boyfriend graduates in 2011 and I think that they will be getting married soon after that.
A busy time ahead of you, Lindy, but all happy times.

I can so remember when my children went off to college and I truly suffered from the empty nest syndrome, but knowing I had just completed the most important job of my life in raising them, it eased the pain of them leaving the nest.

I'm sorry you are hungry. What are the directions on your bottle? Does it say how much the dose is? I believe Dr. Simeons had everyone start at 125 iu dose and then tweak from there. Remember though that with hhcg some gets lost in the process. Have you been losing? I ask because too big of a dose can make you hungry and actually reverse the losing process.

Questions:
1. Are you obeying the golden rule of not eating or putting anything in your mouth for at least 15 minutes before and after dosing?
2. Are you eating anything mint?
3. Are you drinking coffee? With homeopathics some people can have coffee and some people can't.
4. Are you taking potassium? This helps with hunger.
5. Is TOM in your near future? This can cause hunger/cravings.

HTH

Sweetie

I am sorry about that. My SIL is a widow too. She did indeed have a very hard time when my brother was first killed (he worked in the WTC on 9/11). It was the worst time in the world. But now that it is so many years later we "joke" amongst ourselves, never to her!, about how easy it is for her since she ended up a billiionaire--OK maybe not billion, but definitely a millionaire. She would give every single cent back (and so would I !!!) to have Brian back. It is never easy, no matter how many years they have been gone, because every day his kids wake up knowing that their daddy died. Very sad indeed My mom and I just discussed this very thing last week at the beach since it was my nephew that came down with her. No one likes the one that she is married to now and she won't hear of anyone's opinions about how we don't like him. Oh, well anyway enough of my sad sob story.....sorry some people just don't get it . And then some do and just don't have the tact to keep their mouths shut---like me

Thankfully my meals are satisfying.

Can't wait for P3! One more week.

Ever since I've been taking potassium my hunger issues have gotten soooo much better. Are you taking potassium? I'm taking 2 99mg tablets 2 x a day.

I hope this helps you - I know, being hungry all the time stinks

ugh, how terrible. People just don't think before they open their mouths sometimes

Dawn, I'm so sorry for your loss. I live so close to the city, that was such a terrible day.

My mom was widowed very young (she was 33, as was my father when he died). People can truly say thoughtless things...

ok, one more post from me and I'm done

Dawn, I'm pretty sure it was you that recommended the Yerba Mate chocolate tea (or maybe it was Deb?). Anyway, I picked some up today and had a cup with french vanilla stevia and YUMMMMM!

I've tried stevia many times over the years and it always had a bitter aftertaste to me. The NOW brand of liquid stevia's are spectacluar, I highly recommend them. They are very sweet so you don't need alot, and no bitterness.

Oh, I am so glad you tried it!! Deb and I both really love the chocolate one. I use the SweetLeaf brand of stevia only because I can buy those locally. But I have seen the Now brand in my health food store. I should try a price comparison next time I am in there because the sweetleaf.....oy!! The vanilla creme is my favorite flavor--it goes with anything!!! IF I only could choose one to have it would be that one.

Be patient, have faith. I bet you will release it.

I was thinking too, if I release 20 pounds and I only have 5 pounds left to go, maybe I'll extend my round instead of doing another 23 day round for just 5 pounds, yanno?

So sorry for your loss. I lost my brother 2 years ago and my sister 13 years ago. Even though we weren't close, it still hurts.

WW, I'm sorry your friend was so insensitive. I can only hope she didn't mean it like it came out and I bet she was wishing the words had never come out.

Wow that is so sad Cheryl. What happened? That would seem awfully young. So sorry to hear of both siblings. What a blow. My DH swore that he was going to die before he turned 50. Thankfully that never happened as the big 5-0 was April. But the way he talked about it, I had to have a chat with him to stop worrying the kids!! They are still so young and to have that talk at dinner.... He is so adamant about it it is scary. A lot of what he "predicts" is true so I hope he will stop it. He does have breathing problems that probably exasperated the thoughts he was having at the time. He is doing much better, not well but better. At least now he doesn't talk about dying all the time. And he can breathe too!!

Great losses today! I love this thread. I always have so much to read when I finally get a chance to get on here. You all give so much support and encouragement! I love it!!!!

Today I have a .8 loss, that brings me to vlcd5 with a 6.2 lb (preload) loss. 16 days to go! I think I'm going to get stuff for the chili. I need a change from the plain chicken and hamburgers.
