Here is a site with a list of things that Pre-K kids should learn - Pre-K Curriculum
And here is some free printables - KidSparkz Preschool Resources, Preschool Curriculum, Free Printables, Lesson Plans, Themes and Preschool Activities

There is lots of information on the web! I used to be a pre-k teachers at the daycare where I worked when the kids were little. Kids at that age are sponges and love to learn, so it makes it real easy! One piece of advice, when you start teaching Kyle his letters, teach him the upper and lower case at the same time.

Have a great time!

Oh, I had some dizziness this morning too. I think I need to get some potassium tablets. I don't like being dizzy!

KUTGW everyone! I'm loving hHCG!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!
Wow, you are doing great! Awesome losses. Get the potassium. It really helped me yesterday to stop feeling dizzy and this was even AFTER I ate. It wasn't hunger, it was the potassium. (Thanks Dawn and everyone else that suggested that!)

Sorry to hear about the tummy trubbles Kandi. I hope the probiotic helps you. Gosh, it seems like yesterday you were just starting P2. It goes by fast, huh?

Speaking of which...where is my king kong water cup?

Shopping was a breeze today...I was done in about 15 minutes. I took my 14yr old daughter with me and we took separate carts..I told her to go pick whatever she wanted and knew how to make (she's a good lil cooker) and I would meet her when we were both done. I didnt want to drag myself threw the agony of walking down every isle looking at all the things I cant have.

I got the chili ingrediants today..Going to check out the recipe and hope I fall in love with it. I tried my 100grams of tulapia on the george foreman for lunch..it was tasty and a nice change from 3 days of chicken.

Today I was down 1.8
Looking forward to seeing everyones release numbers tomorrow!!!
Lorrie, great job! I was shopping and DH was planning meals around MY food. WTH? He thinks he is going to be eating what I'm eating for 3 weeks and make our kids eat that way? I don't think so... LOL I appreciate him being supportive, but man, leave my P2 chili meat alone!

Boyfriend is spending the night tonight...he hasn't seen me in two weeks...I'm thinking he won't notice anything...but I feel so much better about myself....even with just 6 lbs I see a difference..even if no one else does yet.

I know I've said this before....but I looooove that tracker.....it figures everything out for you....18 more days on P2 for me...it feels like forever...but then I think..wow..Sunday will make it a week and that seems fast.
6 pounds since Sunday? /faints

Wendy, it sounds like alot of people have trouble with cabbage. That might be it?

I'm down 1.2 pounds this morning.

Dawn, I tried Biz's smoothie and yep, it was gross in color, but it was yummy! Next time though, I'm not getting fat free cottage cheese. I'll get 2% to help me stay fuller longer.

I tell ya, I love losing weight like this, but I'm up peeing 5 or 6 times a night when I have a good loss. How am I supposed to get good sleep? Depends?

Two things that are really helping me.

1. Coming here all the time for support and knowing I'm going to post my progress in the morning keeps me honest through the day because I DO NOT want to come here to say I messed up.

2. I read another forum and there is a thread dedicated to cheating and people who have and the horror stories they are going through trying to get back on protocol and lose the weight they gained from the cheat.

It's made me realize I picked the perfect time for me to do this. I'm focused and I am committed to doing this....for once I may actually follow through till the end!

I hear a lot of people giving their families the same meals as they have in P2. I think..."What are you crazy??" I feel my family needs the fat. I do have little ones who are still growing like weeds, so they should not have food cooked without butter, oils and all that good flavorful stuff. But that is my opinion. They don't need dry bland food.

But I hear ya on the hubby thing--every time I sat down to eat dinner with my family my DH would look longingly at my plate. He was like a cute puppy dog. I was like "Really? You want this??!!! You have got to be kidding me because I would trade with you in a heartbeat if I could!!!" Drove me nuts. I have since learned to have the P2 chili while he is at work so I would NOT even have to think about sharing with him. Then don't even get me started on the apples!!! Every single time I sat down with one my kids would come out of the woodwork. It was scary how they could just tell when I was eating. They learned real fast not to ask mom for food while in P2---EVER!!!! I never shared my pitiful small amounts of food in P2. They told me how horrible I was--didn't care. We have like a whole bag of apples in the fridge and they know how to wash their own!!!

Yeah on getting down more than a pound today!!! So glad you found the potassium helped!!! And yeah, Biz says 2% is better because with the fat free they add "stuff" to it. I have found nothing that helps getting up at night to pee. When you find a solution then you must share.

I had 'issues' for 2 days, but they got better. It turns out I was having TOM cramps (my first in 4 months ) on top of the issues I was having with too much fat suddenly. I hope you are feeling better today.

Today I was down 1.8
I always ate everything, too. Always. I especially didn't want to skip my fruit , and the Melba/Grissni added something to my meals, even though I'm not usually a bread eater. It was the crispiness, I think. Great release!

That is so great! What an awesome round you are having. I'm envious.

I did a loading day yesterday. I was going to wait until today to start, but I had some high fat foods (sour cream) in my fridge I wanted to use up. My jar of farmer's market salsa was calling my name too, so I bought some tortilla chips to use up that stuff. I also ate a pint of Häagen-Dazs Dulce De Leche and a couple pieces of cheesecake (I have no idea how that got into my shopping cart). I am unhappily nursing a sugar hangover while enjoying my last cup of coffee with cream. We are visiting my favorite Mexican/southwestern restaurant tonight to kick off my start of another P2 round tomorrow. Even after all that stuff, I'm the same exact weight I was yesterday morning.

Glad to know I'm not alone in the family department. DH is concerned that we all 'eat together'. I don't get it. We're still eating TOGETHER, just different foods. WTH? When I asked him to use different utensils on the grill when we had chicken the other night because their chicken had olive oil on it, he thought I was nuts and almost got angry with me. Geez, then let me take care of my own food, k?

P2

I released two pounds this morning. I am so surprised after the two pound loss of yesterday. Yesterday was good. Just a bit hungry at dinner time. I didn't take time to make chili but thanks to everyone who answered my question. I think I will make a big pot this weekend and portion it out for lunches.

Getting the calories right for the day was a bit of a challenge for me and I'm sure it's a learning process but it makes me a bit nervous. I did use fit day yesterday. That is another reason I didn't make chili. I really wanted an apple baked with the melba and spices so the chili would have put me over the 500 cals.

YAY!! Welcome to One-der-land!!!

I was nervous to step on the scale this morning because I had two days of "0" this week. One due to TOM.

I'm down .8 today.

I have one week left and I really hope I can let go of 4 more. I'm thinking that is not going to happen. I'm still happy non the less, but would love to be done before vacation instead of having a planned interruption.

Wow, it's hard to keep up with this thread! Congrats to everyone who is doing so well!
I am down 1 lb this morning from yesterday, so I am happy. But you know what's weird? I actually ate MORE calories yesterday than the day before! But I didn't have any breadsticks, tomatoes, or zevia cola. Anyway, I'm happy with it.

Stats: WHAT!??/That's better/Now you're talkin'!
Morning Everyone!

Reporting in with a .6 lb. loss today, putting me at 153.8. I have 7 days left (including my 2 500 calorie/no HCG days) and I REALLY want to get into the 140's. I had wanted to get to 147 but don't know if that will happen - that's 6.8 lbs and TOM is on the way and I always get super bloated, etc. So, I MAY extend my P2 a bit - I'll just wait and see.

Here's to a great day of releasing to everyone!!

I plan on using these links as well. Our daughter turns 3 in September. We had her in a preschool and come time find out they spanked her. We yanked her out of there. She and my newborn are now with a gal Lily stayed with when she was first born. She is wonderful and licensed, but it's not a preschool. I will be taking the helm on that one. My hubby is a Special Ed High School Teacher and will help with the lesson plans. The site looks really informative.

I've got many many moons and lbs before I see Onederland again.

Snookie,

I am starting VLCD3. I was down 1.5lbs this morning. That's a total of 5lbs from my load weight.

I am going to attempt the chili recipe today.

How does everyone deal with get together's? My girlfriend is having a BBQ for her son's B-day on Sunday. I told her I was on a specialized diet and that I would need to bring my own food and NO ALCOHOL for me. She was trying to convince me that summer wasn't over yet and blah, blah, blah.... She is not intentionally trying to sabotage, she just doesn't get it.

Tell her you are on a "detox diet" and it was doctor prescribed. I love that--detox diet. That should shut her up!! If not, just don't go!!! Thank goodness none of these things happened while I was on P2!!!! I guess not having a social life is a good thing sometimes!!!!

the way I handle BBQs is I "volunteer" to bring a large green salad
and take a raw chicken breast to cook I have my own recipe for SF BBQ sauce or I guess you could take some WF sauce for your chicken
drink lots of unsweet iced tea and your good!!

Hi Susie!!! Good to see you

Get togethers while on P2 are indeed difficult! I went to a b-day party last Sunday and of course couldn't eat one thing!!! There were hot dogs, cheeseburgers, pasta salad, and chocolate cake - UGH. I just drank my water and had a cup of coffee. Luckily I had already eaten my allowed dinner. I don't think anyone noticed because I was busy feeding the kids. I made sure I had a bottle of water with me at all times. If anyone asks, I agree, just tell them the doctor has you on a special detox diet to help your hormones after having the baby. It's really nobody's busines, but people always seem to be interested!!!

Depends?
Woo Hoo Cheryl! A 1.2lb release is awesome! KUTGW!

Woo Hoo Mary! WTG on the 2lb loss! KUTGW!
