None to my knowledge. It's almost 5pm here now and I still feel ok, so I bet you are right. Going to keep a nice supply of potassium here at work.

I use a whole can and 3.5 oz. of beef The tomatoes I buy at Safeway are only 20 cals a serving x 3.5 per can, so I go for the gusto

Congrats to our Releasers and hugs and tons of support for our strugglers!

Scale is holding at 22 pounds down and I'm on R1P2VLCD20. Today may be my third day at this weight since I couldn't weigh on Monday so we'll see what tomorrow brings. If I'm holding at this weight tomorrow I may proceed to doing my 2 ND days and heading into P3. I'm still 3 pounds away from my ultimate goal for this round and if I can do that, I will go on to P3 and P4 with no return to P2 until who knows when. I know in my head it is just a number but I want to see it I added another pair of my 'not quite ready to wear' pants to my wardrobe so I have 2 pairs left to fitting in all of my closet. That in itself makes me so happy! I guess the scale addict in me is very validated by the number. hmm. I know it is necessary. I just need to make peace with it at some point.
Adding 'not quite ready jeans' to your closet must be a great feeling Your doing a GREAT job. I enjoy reading your posts so much.

I was so worried to step on the scale today! I don't feel any different, and so I was sure I didn't loose any, but I'm down 1.9 lbs from yesterday! I did feel a little bit dizzy too a few times today at work, so I'm going to pick up some potassium, good idea!

This thread is so exciting. Yay everybody!

I want to be in all the phases at once.

I want to lose every day with you P2ers. I'm enjoying and really appreciating all kinds of great stuff in P3. I want to jump to P4 and see how I do with some starches, and then there are those moments when loading sounds good.

I can see and feel that I've lost a noticeable amount all over and feel great in my fat-jeans-from-two-years-ago, but then at the same time I want to lose those leftover bulges of unnatural fat NOW. This plan makes my head spin.

I'm in R3P4D17 and have been maintaining pretty well up until last week when my daughters and I took a short cruise to the Bahamas.

I gained 4 lbs. over that time, but now am getting down closer to my LDW of 129.4.

So today, I weighed in at 132.8 which puts me in MY range of 130-135. My starting weight was 163.8.
I started my 1st round on 1 August 09, and I waited 3 months and 2 months respectively between my 2 and 3rd rounds and I truly believe that helped stabilize my weight.

I allowed myself some room for resistance training and muscle mass, so after I achieved my first and second goals, I decided to go to 130 to allow for wiggle room.

I'm eating just about everything I want, but I do find that my portions have decreased quite a bit. For lunch today, I had 5 chicken wings, when in the past, I could have easily eaten 8-9. I did put 6 of them on my plate, but had to put the last one back.

Portion control was one of my problems, and I think I've beaten that.

My point here is that the program works if you work it, and since I've maintained throughout each P4 and am doing so now, albeit a bit higher than the 2 lbs limit, I encourage each of you to keep it going and don't be disturbed by blips and even if you have a gain, keep on following the program, and you will be rewarded with smaller numbers, not to mention smaller clothes and a healthier body.
Gracie! You are doing so great!

Day 2 of P3:

I am enjoying my food a lot! My tummmy is still horribly upset. Much more so than yesterday. I almost left work. It feels like a knife is stabbing me in my tummy. Then I have to run to the bathroom.. thank the good Lord that no one has been in there at the same time. I took a probiotic this morning. Ran into CVS before work. It is an acidipholus pearl and says probiotic and to take only one a day. How long before it helps me out? My issues seem to be increasing.

Kandi to you. I understand those things. In my family we call them "blender attacks". Its like your stomach is a blender and it is on full tilt and look out get out of my way . . .

Well today was strange. I wasn't all that hungry. I didn't eat my second fruit or my veggie with dinner. I actually ate my 3.5 oz of ground sirloin patty in the truck on the way home from football practice. Now its late and I just want to hit the sheets from running around. Hopefully the scale will be good to me tomorrow.

Lots of ladies say that they are not hungry...and at times dont eat all of thier food. I Personally Always eat All of my food..All of the time... and although I'm not STARVING at All times...I am Definatley AWARE I'm not eating the same...at Most ALL times.

Speaking of which...where is my king kong water cup?

Shopping was a breeze today...I was done in about 15 minutes. I took my 14yr old daughter with me and we took separate carts..I told her to go pick whatever she wanted and knew how to make (she's a good lil cooker) and I would meet her when we were both done. I didnt want to drag myself threw the agony of walking down every isle looking at all the things I cant have.

I got the chili ingrediants today..Going to check out the recipe and hope I fall in love with it. I tried my 100grams of tulapia on the george foreman for lunch..it was tasty and a nice change from 3 days of chicken.

Today I was down 1.8
Looking forward to seeing everyones release numbers tomorrow!!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Down another lb this morning. I'm down 6 lbs since Sunday...I'm pretty happy with that...I'm seeing the losses taper off so I am grateful to have gotten off as much as I did the first few days.

Boyfriend is spending the night tonight...he hasn't seen me in two weeks...I'm thinking he won't notice anything...but I feel so much better about myself....even with just 6 lbs I see a difference..even if no one else does yet.

I know I've said this before....but I looooove that tracker.....it figures everything out for you....18 more days on P2 for me...it feels like forever...but then I think..wow..Sunday will make it a week and that seems fast.

I haven't tried the chili yet, but I love my 3.5z of beef in a half can of those tomatoes with added onion flakes, garlic, & italian seasoning. Chili tonight!

I say take one before each meal!!! Barbara (Ragdoll) gave me those instructions last year and it worked for me. That SHOULD help. It will not harm you to take more than the directions say for a short while. That is what helped me when I had tummy issues in P3. Hope you get to feeling better today.

Good for you on the shopping trip!!! I have 4 kids and my eldest is 14 also. So I understand the temptations that are all around you. Thank goodness he can fend for himself AND take care of the other little ones during my P2s. The only thing that has made this plan doable with 4 little ones at home IS the Hhcg!! Without it I would never have made it past day 1!! My eldest eats ALL THE TIME--he is a lot taller than me and can sure out eat me AND his daddy combined. He is constantly eating---and my 4 year old eats all the time too. You will do very well!!!

No loss. I had a a perfect day yesterday but feel puffy after a dinner of cabbage soup with bragg's and FF chicken broth. I know we aren't supposed to need to limit salt but I can feel it. I know it just a water issue, but I really want to see 165.

apple
3.5 oz xl ground beef
2/3c tomatoes
3.5ox shrimp
1c cabbage
1c ff chicken broth
6 strawberries

Boyfriend is spending the night tonight...he hasn't seen me in two weeks...I'm thinking he won't notice anything...but I feel so much better about myself....even with just 6 lbs I see a difference..even if no one else does yet.

I know I've said this before....but I looooove that tracker.....it figures everything out for you....18 more days on P2 for me...it feels like forever...but then I think..wow..Sunday will make it a week and that seems fast.
Woo Hoo Colleen! A 1lb drop and 6lbs off in 4 days is awesome! KUTGW!

Weight on your VLCD #1 : 194.6
LDW: 183.0
Today's Weight: 185.0
Yesterday's Weight: 182.8
# above/below LDW: +2.0
# gain/loss from yesterday: +2.2

I think the gain is from a combonation of things. 1) I ate too much! My stomach was bothering me yesterday and I was interpreting the stomach pain as hunger. 2) Not enough water after supper last night. In fact I didn't drink any water after supper until it was time to go to bed. 3) No Bernice yesterday.

I can change 1 & 2 but 3 I will leave alone, at least for today, to see if she shows up naturally. Today for breakfast I had a cup of yogurt with a cup of frozen blueberries. I have cherries for a mid-morning snack and lunch will be a piece of chicken breast and a small salad. Not sure what I will eat mid-afternoon, I have several things I could eat, but I will wait and see if I get hungry and what I want to eat. Dinner tonight is up in the air. It is suppose to be Date Night, but DH would like to go to Meet the Teacher night up at the school and support the new Ag teacher. And the word of the day is water, water, water!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday and remember it's Friday Eve!

Thanks! And have a great time with Kyle! This will be a very special time with him knowing that he too will be off to school this time next year.

All my babies are grown and they will all be in college this year! I was so happy when I found out that my middle one had decided to go back this year. The way it looks, the youngest and the oldest will probably graduate together and the middle one will be about a year after that.

We may also be looking at a couple more weddings in the next couple of years. I know that my middle one it looking at rings for his girl friend and my (youngest) daughter's boyfriend graduates in 2011 and I think that they will be getting married soon after that.

Thanks Lindy!! My DH made it clear to me last night on our walk (in the rain no less!!) that I was to "teach" Kyle this year. He is not in pre-school this year. He is the only one out of the 4 who will not have gone to preschool before starting kindergarten. I hope he does just as well as the others next year!! We will be working on writing his name first!!!! As I have no patience for any of this stuff it will be interesting!!! And I feel like we are pushing Ken out the door already. We are like "hurry up and graduate already!!! We want to stop paying for your food!!" LOL. But I know I will cry on his first day of college---wish I could stop time sometimes.

Hi all,

I'm really enjoying P3. I had a cheese omlet and bacon for breakfast, and am looking forward to the blueberries I got at the farmers' market yesterday.

Major KUDOS to those of you doing this with kids in the house.

Cookie, I hope you feel better ASAP.

Dawn, I took 2 probiotics yesterday and was hoping that was ok because the directions said 1. Good to know it is.

Congrats to the losers.
