Posted this in another thread, but figured I should post it here too.
I held off my first does until 10am this morning and started to get ravenously hungry around 11:30am and very dizzy. I ate my cucumbers, still didn't feel better, so I had my P2 chili right at noon. How am I supposed to get through the day? What do I do if the dizziness doesn't go away? /skeered I was going to go for a short walk at lunch, but I was too nervous to go. I'm doing the hhcg drops, 12 drops 3 times a day. Increase? Decrease? Wait it out? Today is VLCD3 for me.

To just quote one person, you use the "Quote" button. The one to the right of the "Quote" button is the multi-quote button. You click that one on each post that you want to quote, until you get to the last one and then you hit the regular quote button. You can always unclick the multi-quote button if you go too far! You can type inbetween the different quotes, just make sure you find the right spot. HTH!

Morning Everyone! Gosh, I'm having a weird week. I seem to be sleeping in late and then by the time I get here and read it's after 10 Guess we're a chatty crew! That's wonderful. It's nice to have plenty to read whether it is great news or struggles, etc. I think it helps to know we're not really doing this alone! We have eachothers support, ideas, suggestions and a waggy finger when necessary ![]() Congrats to our Releasers and hugs and tons of support for our strugglers! Scale is holding at 22 pounds down and I'm on R1P2VLCD20. Today may be my third day at this weight since I couldn't weigh on Monday so we'll see what tomorrow brings. If I'm holding at this weight tomorrow I may proceed to doing my 2 ND days and heading into P3. I'm still 3 pounds away from my ultimate goal for this round and if I can do that, I will go on to P3 and P4 with no return to P2 until who knows when. I know in my head it is just a number but I want to see it |

I'll bet it's the potassium because if you're drinking tons of water and following protocol you're depleting your system of electrolytes. Hopefully that second potassium will help. I also use Morton's Lite Salt which is potassium enhanced. Do you have any blood sugar issues?

If you do NOT do the loading while taking the hcg you will be sorry. I had a person on here last year who figured she did "enough" loading when indeed she only loaded for about a day. The other day she said she was loading she was stuck in a conference room all day long and had no access to food. She was starving for the first week or so on the VLCDs. I told her to add in a 3rd day of loading and boy was she ever sorry when she did NOT. There is no reason to be hungry on this plan and she proved you have to load properly in order to start. You really have to read in P&I why it is important to get those fats in your body before you start. It is what your body feeds off of when you start the VLCDs. Those pounds you put on (or not, someone posted just today that they LOST weight while loading!!) while loading come right off in the first few days of the 500 calorie diet. If you are coming off Stillmans low fat plan you may want to consider loading for at LEAST 3 days with lots of healthy fats, since you have no fat stores. Good luck to ya!!!

O my goodness, it's been ages since I've posted here but have been lurking and thought I'd come in and say 'hi' to all of you.
I'm in R3P4D17 and have been maintaining pretty well up until last week when my daughters and I took a short cruise to the Bahamas. I gained 4 lbs. over that time, but now am getting down closer to my LDW of 129.4. So today, I weighed in at 132.8 which puts me in MY range of 130-135. My starting weight was 163.8. I started my 1st round on 1 August 09, and I waited 3 months and 2 months respectively between my 2 and 3rd rounds and I truly believe that helped stabilize my weight. I allowed myself some room for resistance training and muscle mass, so after I achieved my first and second goals, I decided to go to 130 to allow for wiggle room. I'm eating just about everything I want, but I do find that my portions have decreased quite a bit. For lunch today, I had 5 chicken wings, when in the past, I could have easily eaten 8-9. I did put 6 of them on my plate, but had to put the last one back. Portion control was one of my problems, and I think I've beaten that. My point here is that the program works if you work it, and since I've maintained throughout each P4 and am doing so now, albeit a bit higher than the 2 lbs limit, I encourage each of you to keep it going and don't be disturbed by blips and even if you have a gain, keep on following the program, and you will be rewarded with smaller numbers, not to mention smaller clothes and a healthier body. |

Hi everyone! Congrats to the nice releases people have been having, and welcome to all the new posters. Today I started dosing/loading for R2...this morning I was 0.4 over my LDW from R1. I guess I feel like I've been loading since I started P3 - I never restricted my fat at all.
To be honest, I hope not doing P4 doesn't come back to bite me in the butt. I don't know if I'll ever add starches/sugars back into my diet. I am not a rice/pasta/potato eater normally and isn't that what is added back in P4? I guess sometimes I don't see a separation between P3 and P4 because P3 is how I normally eat (except the wine part, which is normally a few glasses once every 3 months or so thing, or a couple of lite beers here and there). In other words, what does doing a P4 add for someone like me? In other news, I've decided I want to continue with my Couch to 5k plan now that the humidity here has dropped a bit. I know it may interfere with my losses, but I feel 100% better mentally when I exercise. I really love what it does for my leg muscles, too. My dog is fond of running, too, and he loves when we go. So, I'll need to deal with that.

And as for exercise--Dr S said never to eliminate it. He just says not to add in anything new. So you are good to go!! I just never could continue on my regular routine because P2 just wiped me out in the energy department. But it doesn't happen to everyone. Believe me that my strolls with the dog have hurt my dog too. By the time we are at the pond now, he is ready to turn around and head home. Whereas before hcg we would walk a lot further!! So it is good for the dog to continue because mine is now so spoiled!!! He won't go further voluntarily, but we do drag him on longer walks sometimes. Not in the heat though!Anyway, all this to say--I cannot wait to hear about your round!! I want to know if P4 really is necessary too!! Good luck this round!!! ![]() |

Doing ok
Just had to report that I seem to be doing ok even with the loss this morning. I'm not really hungry, had a little head hunger this morning but was fine till I ate lunch and now I'm pretty full.
Had: shrimp asparagus melba 1/2 grapefruit I want to have the P2 chili for dinner. It sounds good. Which recipe does everyone like the best? My drops came with a few recipes. They also recommend a recipe. Have a good releasing day. |

Hey Dawn I'm curious, are you in a round of P3/P4 right now? I remember the vacation pics you posted in last month's thread, do you think you're about done or do you have one more HCG/P2 round left? You looked fantastic by the way, kept forgetting to comment!!!

Once P3 is over and done I seem to just fall apart. So I am going to try once again to maintain what I lose!!! But thank you so much! That reminds me...I have yet to post the pics from the beach. I had a 2 piece on, but the halter top was long. No bikini shots!! Funny, but now when I look at my pics it seems that the pic is not of me. I mean, I feel so fat because of the number on the scale, but yet in pics I don't seem so fat. Kinda weird in a way. I keep thinking my head will catch up to my brain but hasn't happened yet. And I have been at this for a year!!! |
