Catzrule (Cheryl) HCG Journal

Gracie recommended keeping a journal, so here goes...

Today is load day 1. So far, I've had a Sausage, egg, cheese biscuit sandwich (so good they should be outlawed, KWIM?) and a couple of handfuls of macadamia nuts.

Lunch will be a bunless cheeseburger with ketchup and mayo. Strawberries with real whipping cream for dessert. Not sure about dinner yet, but I'm thinking ice cream for dessert! (I just hope I still want to eat by then).

Started out today weighing 149.2, 39.1% BF

Measurements are:
Above bust 35.5"
Bust 37.75"
Below bust 31.5"
Waist 31"
Abs 41"
Hips 40.5" (can you say curvy girl?)
Left thigh 24.25"
Right thigh 24.5"
Left arm 12.25"
Right arm 12"

I took my starting pictures too. Not pretty, but I know it can only get better from here!

Thanks for the support everyone!

Day 2 of loading. Up 2.4 pounds from yesterday alone, yikes!

So far, I woke up not hungry, but had a whole grain bagel loaded with butter and strawberries with homemade whipped cream, coffee with cream.

DH is making a smoked brisket for dinner and we'll make beer bread that has a whole stick of butter melted over it. OMG, to.die.for

Yep, VLCD1 tomorrow! I hope I'm not up ANOTHER 2.4 pounds... *but I might be!

Cheryl,

I'm on day 2 of loading too. I gained 2 lbs the first day so don't feel alone!
I weigh 100 lbs more than you so it will be interesting to see how it goes for you, hoping I will get there someday.

Good luck! Its kind of exciting to be starting out isnt it?

Thanks everyone. VLCD1 today for me and I'm detoxing. I feel like I have a bad sore throat and swollen glands. Just got out of an epsom salt bath, feeling a little better.

Had my P2 chili for lunch, YUM-O! I'm going to have grilled chicken and asparagus tonight with my apple for dessert.

The hunger isn't too bad so far.

I caved and weighed myself this afternoon. I'm down a pound. WTH? I'll take it!

Had a yummy smoothie that Dawn recommended yesterday and today I'm down 1.2 pounds. WOOT!

The only downside is that I'm up peeing all night long. Whatever, I'll take it!

The potassium I took yesterday took care of my dizziness too, so now I know how to handle it.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday! Hoping the 'no hunger' thing kicks in today. Can't take more of these 'hungry' days, even though it is only just before lunch.

I'm glad things are going better for you today and the potassium helped with your dizziness. Great release last night and wishing you a great release tonight.

R1P2 VLCD6 - down 0.6 today

Feeling good, no hunger, just no desire to do anything. I feel like I'm on 'island time'. Just want to chill and enjoy the nice weather.

OK, I'm doing a couple of loads of laundry, but that's about it.

I was wondering if eating the second hamburger that I made the other day slowed my loss a bit. The other time I had one, my loss was smaller in the morning, BUT, I also realize that I walked to/from the gym yesterday and did a light workout. I have been doing that, but not consistently lately. I'm a little sore today, so my muscles could be holding water. I also didn't sleep really great after 4am, so I'm guessing it all adds up.

My measurements this morning weren't all that stellar, but then again, I'm only 3.2 pounds below my start weight, 6 below my post-load weight.

Waist +0.5"
Abs -1.0"
Hips -0.25"
Left Thigh -0.75"
Right Thigh -0.5"
Left Arm -0.75"
Right Arm -0.25"

Total Inches -3.0" lost overall. I'm surprised WHERE I lost and where I didn't. I normally lose in my bust and waist first (the measurements I didn't list had stayed the same). At least it's a change!

Cheryl, you're doing great. I think you may be right about the muscles holding on to some water. Drink up! Have a lovely evening and have a club soda for me

I did! It was great having texture to my drink for a change.

Down 0.6 today. I think I'm going to have shakes for dinner daily. Those really helped me lose. If I lose well tomorrow, I'll know that is the ticket.

Yesterday, I had:
Lunch: chicken breast grilled, leftover cabbage, grissini, apple with cinnamon/splenda
Dinner: Lean steak in WW marinade, asparagus with vinegar, grissini
Lots o' water, 1 club soda with lemon juice, sweet n low
Coffee with 1 Tbsp milk
