Lubriderm will work for you.
I just got Dial body wash to use and Neutrogena oil-free facial lotion. Good luck! Hope your HCG arrives today. |

How sweet!! I never saw this thread until now.
So what did you two end up using? I ended up not changing my body wash despite it containing Shea Butter, I just dont use lotion at ALL anymore, using the same deodorant- never even LOOKED to see what it was made of. I kind of feel like how much fat am I really going to get of these products anyway and yet Dr S thought it was important. I guess when I stop losing I'll be scrambling to do what he said! |

I haven't stopped doing anything that I was doing before and I don't seem to have any issues with it. I use Dove body wash, regular shampoo & conditioner, Bath & body works lotion, chap stick....
I wonder if I would lose TWICE AS MUCH if I DID stop using all that stuff???? Eh, probably not. I think 1/2 to a 1lb a day is pretty good for a chic ![]() I think it's probably a YMMV type thing - We are all different so different things will work or won't work for different people. |

I am proud to say that I have not touched a drop of lotion since starting this last Wed. I am quite surprised actually, but also glad I can go without. I also try to minimize my shaving. I went without shaving my legs from last Tues til this Sun. I know that I am quite paranoid about using off protocol stuff, but..........don't want to chance it LOL. My uniform for work is long pants--thank God!!! Otherwise I would have to it more often!!!

I haven't avoided lotions but I don't routinely use them except at the nail salon. What I have discovered and now LOVE is baby oil. Omg. I use it in the shower and slather it all over and my skin is loving it. Who knew??? I just put it on while I'm showering and my skin stays really nice all day. I even use it on my face.

Oh, WW I was a lotion hog. I could not go anywhere without slathering myself. I am so amazed at how I can be ready to shower and leave the house so early now!!! LOL. I just wash quickly and leave--no more putting on my coconut oil, then my coconut lotion, yada, yada, yada.....I actually like being ready to go in 5-10 mins versus an hour. I think my family likes it too!!

WW, how do you not slip and kill yourself in the shower using baby oil? I nearly killed myself once the bottom of the tub got so slippery when I dropped a little. |

No baby oil is not ok. No oils inside or outside the body if you are going by the protocol as written. Sorry.

I dunno. I use it very generously all over my body in the shower, use it to wash my face, etc and it isn't slippery once it is on my skin. My skin seems to absorb it well and the water washes off any remainder?? Love it.

I love the way baby oil makes my skin feel, but I find when I put it on after the shower, my hair tends to stick it.
When I'm brushing out my wet hair, I find it on my arms, my back, everywhere! How do you keep that from happening, cause I would love to use it every day! |
