I make 'kale crack'. Take kale, break it into 2-3 inch pieces. Put them on a cookie cooling rack (wire) and then put that on a cookie sheet. Put kale in a bowl and mix up with just a small amount of olive oil and sea salt. Put them on the wire rack and bake at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. OMG, like potato chips, but healthy! |

I made these ONCE on P2. I was not overly thrilled with them to make them a second time. It took a long time in the oven and I didn't like the way they tasted. I much preferred my spinach done in the microwave and choked down in as few bites as possible. Can you tell I don't love spinach???!!! |

Hi Lorrie! Congrats on your loss! How's LaLa today? Sending you both lots of support! Looks like you dodged a bullet with the wine. Lucky, lucky, lucky. I wouldn't plan on being lucky again. I know it will be tempting because .2 gain isn't much but next time you might not be so fortunate. Signed, Toughlove HcgPal WW ![]() |

Wanted to reconfirm and ask a few lil questions..
1) What is a good recipe for radishes besides in a crock pot with pot roast as I am staying away from red meat on my P2. 2) If I am supposed to drink half my body weight in ounces of water each day..(which would be 92.5 ounces)..could I be drinking to much water by drinking 1 gallon per day =128oz thus making me have/hold water weight. I do use a medium/high amount of salts and seasoning. Maybe I should cut back to 92.5oz's..?..and of course try to cut down on the salts a bit. 3) I have been taking 2 supplements 3x's per day of 595 mg of Potassium = 1,785mg per day and 500 mcg of B-12 = 1500mcg per day Is that All the suppliments I should be taking on P2? Am I missing anything? What is the Bernice helping suppliment?..how much? 4) I also would like to get my P3 suppliments while I am out shopping. I have heard to get.. Digestive enzymes..What kind? Probiotics..something about one's with no starch? Any others? When should I start taking them..on the day after my last drops before P3? 5) Ludriderm lotion is safe..right?

1) I boil my radishes until nice and soft then sprinkle w/ salt, garlic powder and pepper. MMMMMM love them just like that. "Feels" like eating potatoes. 3)Divine Miss M suggested taking L-glutamine (I take big doses, 5 g.) and when I started taking some it seemed to help w/ hunger alot. HTH w/ some of the questions!

I have a very short morning here so I am posted before I've read how great everyone is doing! Down a lb. today so, Day 11 down 7 lbs. pre-load!
Yesterday's get together went great!!! I posted this on another thread but I'll post it again. I stayed strong and didn't cave AT ALL! No wine, bisggest hurdle. I brought a baggie of chic and the hostess happened to have big garden cucumbers she was giving away so I was all set. She was very understanding and even interested in trying my plan. AND I had a great time, especially knowing that I could do this and I was staying on plan and wouldn't regret anything!!! YAY me! Today pizza is being brought in for lunch and I'm not even worried. I am armed w P2 chili ![]() Okay, now that I tooted my horn hope everyone is doing well. I'm going to read as many posts as time allows!! |

2. Water is a very individual thing. I find that when I get in 4 liters as opposed to 3 I am in the bathroom more and that equates to more losses on the scale. But I thin that my weight I don't NEED that much. You can overdose on too much water, but I think with where you are you would be fine with that amount of water!! 3. You are doing right on the supplements. I add in the Natural Calm which is magnesium. I am going PA every single day and I think that is what helped me shed 10 pounds in a week. I highly recommend it!! 4. ON the probiotics--you can decide when to take them. I took them halfway into my first day of P3. Or you can take them when you stop dosing. That way you don't have to worry too much about what is in them. I use whatever is on sale!! I have 2 different kinds at the moment. Brand is not particular!! For the digestive enzymes--I took what my doc recommended due to my hair analysis. I would not recommend any personally because I don't know enough about them. But I take Betaine Hcl with Pepsin based on what my doc said I needed. 5. I don't know about Lubriderm As long as the label does not have any butters or oils (except for mineral oil!!) they you are fine using it. I personally use the Johnson's Baby Oil lotion.

THEN I looked it up on the internet and they said a normal dose per day is 320mg for women my age (44) and that you can actually have a bad reaction if you intake to much Magnesium. So I'm a bit confused..I've Taken WAY to much..and I havent Berniced in the slightest. How many mg should I be taking?..the 320mgs? Thanks for reading..just trying to do all my mistakes on my first P2 so I can become a superstar like you in the future..Smile |

I couldnt post for awhile and I just got out of the swing of things. I think I'm going to try to stay on P2 until I hit 230 lbs, which the way I'm going this week could be awhile! I've had lots of little mishaps in the past week but I'm thinking more positively today. Back to 236.5 which was my low last week. |

On the Bernice issues--I don't use the pills. I have heard that that is NOT the form your body will use. So I have the Natural Calm. I will tell you the dose I take and the mg in that dose. I use 2 tsp and well I just put my bottle in the recycle bin and they took that away yesterday!!! LOL. I am sorry. If I feel I need a bit of action I will bump it up to 3 tsp. I personally don't believe that it would be a problem for you to take more than you need to help move things along. I have heard of others saying that you take as much as you can til you "explode" down there (my DH experienced this. He took 3 tsp one day of the Natural Calm and was in the bathroom all day the next day. He lost 3 lbs!!!) and then back off by a pill to find your tolerance. Kind of like finding your vitamin C tolerance level. Now that is from another board, but I would follow those instructions. You really should be "going" every single day. The fat has to leave somehow right???

Here's what I'm wondering. What goes in comes out. There is so little coming in that there won't be much coming out. And the little that goes in is getting used up by our bodies. What do you think?

I used to think that, but we are also using up our fat that is stuck in our reserves. It has to come out someway or another!! I believe that everyone should be going often on this plan. Once a week is not good for anyone, even on this plan. But you are right, we are all different.

Since we're on the subject of Bernice  , have you heard of the Smooth Move tea? I have some of that and was wondering if it would be okay to use on P2?

Wow.. dounds like everyone is doing so great in here... I'm so excited to be doing so well... and now that I'm almost done with week 1, I'm really afraid I'm gonna stall and not get as much off as I would have liked. I guess I just have to change my mind set a little. I didn't realize most weight was lost in the first week and major slow down after that... grrr...
