When I did the shakes I made 2 of them AND cut out the melbas for the day. I was worried about the calories since the cottage cheese seemed to be more protein than what we were allowed. I really don't know how to incorporate other things int he day with the shakes. That is why I only did them on my long shift days at work, which were only once or 2 times max a week. If you only have 1 shake then I guess it is OK to have the cracker??? I really don't know!!!

thanks! I've had them a couple of times. Pretty much the only thing I've had sweetner with and the cals are zero and they are made with sucralose? so I went for it and haven't had issues. YMMV.

I had yummy chicken breast sliders in green leaf lettuce wraps for lunch. In my foodprocessor I ground up a chicken breast, chinese 5 spice powder, some apple (for moisture) and some braggs AA and voila, yummy burgers and used the rest of the apple sliced as my fruit.

Dinner will be: Shrimp grilled with cajun seasoning, steamed spinach with garlic and sliced strawberries.

Doing all water today too

Me: Chili, grissini, pink lady apple for lunch
Spinach shake for dinner (to use up the thawed spinach). I ate my melbas. I the melba rounds. I'm meh on the grissini, but the melbas are great.

I like the shakes, but I don't think I'll do them often. I absolutely love cottage cheese and I found myself sneaking spoonfuls today. For some reason I've been hungrier on this round. I'm taking potassium, but I'm on a different brand/bottle of drops. I was hungry and ate both of my meals earlier than normal today. I hope I make it through the night.

Me too! I'm just not Kitchen Creative. I usually stick to the same few spices. I've been reading everyone elses spice combos to try to get more variety going. I am no great cook by any means. I can make anything with a recipe but when I branch out on my own it can frequently be less than stellar! We are so lucky they share their creations with us.

About the curry chicken, for hcg's sake, i'm going to attempt it by seasoning my meat and radishes (garlic powder, cumin, curry powder) and cooking it together in water, then adding a little guar gum at the end to thicken it. i don't have any chicken stock or i'd use that.

i'll let ya know how it goes

I made the boiled radishes last night and they were good! When I move into P3 I'm going to try roasting them with olive oil, garlic & rosemary.

When I was prepping my radishes my bf asked me to slice up a few raw for him, with lots of fresh lemon juice & sea salt. Those were also really good!

I sure will. Not sure when I'm going to make it but soon! I need to hit the 99 cents store for a bunch of radishes and I'll be adding some to my dd's next batch of meals.

Oh, I'm going to add garlic and rosemary to my crockpot roast and radishes dish! Thanks so much for the idea. I was trying to decide how to season it and that sounds lovely The cold radishes sound yummy too. Gosh, could make a radish salad as a starter, have the roast and mashed radishes as dinner and an apple or strawberries for dessert. YUMM!

I made another recipe I really enjoyed today. I chopped up some apple (just a little bit) and marinated in the Bragg's AA. Drained the AA sauce. Used my food processor and ground chicken breast (for those that do use turkey breast, you could use that) added some water to my pan, let it steam and added first the chicken then the apples (the crispiness gave a waterchestnut feel to the dish), sauteed until done. Then made a platter of green leaf lettuce and chopped fresh cilantro and made my own wraps. Topped each wrap with just a touch of chili garlic sauce and yowsa. Talk about filling! Crazy I had those with the rest of the sliced apple frozen, enjoyed my lunch with some newly acquired fancy chopsticks and dang. It took me about 45 minutes to finishs my meal I LOVE this! Definitely a repeat and this would be perfect for those of you that have families to serve as a fun dish for everyone to make their own and so forth. Seriously, the chopped apples really added to the bulkiness of the protein and it really made the dish fun and enjoyable.

I think you have found your calling! You ought to either write a hCG Cookbook, or open a healthy restaurant!

How you get so creative on so little choices, is beyond me!!

I love trying your dishes!

OK, I love this shake. On the day I made this I only had one and I was under 500 cals and had a gain the next day. Do you think it's the shake or the lack of enough cals? I know you said I could have 2 of these...maybe I will try that and see what happens.

I made a delicious soup. Take 1 lb ground chicken, 4 crushed melba's, garlic, rosemary, sal & pepper. Mix and form into tiny meatballs. Brown in a skillet. Bring to a boil 4 cups fat free chicken broth. Add meatballs to broth. Sautee 1 bag of baby spinach and add to broth. Season to taste. Makes 4 servings. Very similar to an "italian wedding soup" I made while on Atlkins.
