cottage cheese and spinach sounds yummy!!! like a creamed spinach. i like the sound of that (although i do NOT like the sound of cottage cheese).

today i'm having:

b: green tea with half grapefruit
l: chicken and cucumbers (all cold) dipped in mustard dip (mustard, franks, splenda)
d: fajita salad (steak over lettuce with salsa), breadstick (no afternoon fruit since using salsa in salad)

OK...I am going out on a limb and getting wild with my last 2 days of P2.

noon: half a grapefruit

1:00: Chicken Breast and cucumber grisini

6:30: chicken Breast and Cabbage grisini
strawberries

I eat the same thing nearly every day. Some days I just eat cukes for both meals with my protein.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who posts such great suggestions. I'm so boring left on my own eating P2 so coming here has given me such great ideas! Love the smoothie, spinach and egg whites (would have never thought to try cooking eggs in water ) and now this:

This is not on protocol, but a really yummy desert is a faux Banana's Foster. I put chopped bananas with sugar free syrup in a pan, and after it's warm, add in the cottage cheese. (I blend it because I can't stand the texture or the taste really). Once it's warm, I pour it into a bowl. OMG! Sooo yummy!

It's the only time I've cooked it, it came out nice and creamy & sweet.

Here's my menu for R1P2VLCD34. LOL. I'm losing track of my days now. But,I started 5 weeks ago tomorrow so I think I have it right

Grilled steak (in a diff marinade, not as good as my other one!) chopped cukes with seasalt, sliced frozen apple.

Strawberry choc shake that is the current popular trend My first one!

My menu is nearly identical. I love your marinade! I grilled 5 -3.5 oz pieces of chicken and 4 3.5 oz pieces of steak that I marinated overnight in the other marinade you posted about and . I can eat the meats refrigerator cold with that marinade. I had a 1/2 grapefruit after my run instead of apple, but the grapefruit at this time of the year aren't that great.

The shake is pretty good. I can't taste the chocolate; only the strawberries.

The spinach baked with cottage cheese was over the top delicious. If I don't stall I'm having this again. It tasted cheesy. !!!

Ladidah, glad you enjoy the marinade. I've been keeping a batch on hand at all times.

Kristina, that does sound tasty. I bet it would be good to take a tomato slice and top it with spinach and cottage cheese and maybe broil? hmmmm. Maybe add some nice italian spices in there too.

How do you make boiled radishes? I've never made them and would love to give these a try.

So, do they get soft? do they still taste like radishes? or is the flavor reduced from the boiling? hmm. I think I'm going to give these a try. Thanks so much for posting about it.

When I low carb I make cooked radishes all the time. They lose that sharp taste and are very close to a potato. I love them when I make a roast in the crockpot.

So they dont' taste the same when they are cooked? I don't like raw radishes. I'm getting pretty bored with these veggies and would love to try something different. If they taste similar to potatoes all the better!!

i really liked them. i think crockpot is a great idea, i will do that next weekend, with some stock. it was a little stinky boiling on the stove, but the flavor was good, very potato-y

plus of the veggie options, i only really like lettuce spinach and cukes, so its a nice hot dish

I'll have to try those radishes. Getting tired of asparagus, although I had it with Molly McButter last night instead of ACV, nice change.

Today:
B: coffee
L: grilled chicken breast, cucumber, apple with splenda/cinnamon, grissini
D: not sure yet, maybe a shake

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'd check the ingredients on Molly McButter, I don't think it's approved.

I asked about it last week or the week before on the big thread, and they said it wasn't. I can't remember what ingredient it was, but one of those disguised ones.
