Hello, everyone. I am at day 13 of R1P3 and I just decided to cut it short and go back into P2 on Monday (Reloading then.) It will be my first "cycle" so I can keep you all posted on how it goes.

R1P2, I did a whopping 81 days on hcg, but that was counting the two loading days and 7 planned off-plan days (which were followed by a day of fasting and cleansing.) So, counting only the VLCD's, it was 72.

I was going to do P3 for 3 full weeks, but I'm bored and just want to get on with the show! If I start R2P2 early, I can get 36 more days in before I have to move up the phase ladder, so to speak. Most of August, I need to be in P4. So that will be my first P4 and that will be easier to stay with, since I'll be much closer to goal after this round (Lord willing.)

This round, my only planned off-day will be July 4th. I'll do my usual fast day afterward and move right along. Hopefully I can still respond well to that plan, as I did in R1.

I am hoping to drop another 20 lbs in R2. I think I can!

So, I will keep y'all posted on how this round differs from the first. They often say that R2 is much harder for some reason, so if mine ends up being harder too, it might not be directly related to cycling.

I'd love for more people who have cycled to come and post their experiences here.

Wow Cheryl, you're my hero 81 days, may I ask how much you lost please? Injections or drops? I'm on day 17 of a hopeful 60 day round, and I would like to take a one meal break on July 4th too.

I'm, cycling too, first round April 11-May12 took 3 weeks off ans started again May29th. First round lost 35, was 5 over LIW added 8 on loading, and lost 23 additional lbs from that point. Hoping to get to 220-230 by the end of July but we will see how it goes. My doctor advised me to keep going and not stop betwen rounds.

I used Vox Pellets and followed the OWL Hcg plan (can be googled.) I put all the stats in my siggy, so read through that to see how much I lost.

So, how are your loses this round compared to the first round? Do you see a difference yet? Naturally we will lose slightly less the closer we get to our goal, but they say R2 is nasty on multiple levels (motivation, energy, losses, etc.) It will be interesting to see how it goes for me.

You're doing shots and the Dr wants you to only do P2 and P3? That seems odd. See how it goes for you. Maybe you could get a second opinion on that from others who have used the shots.

Oops, sorry I see it now, doh. Nice job!
Compared to April-May's round loses are same except this week was kinda weird cuz I had an issue come up that caused me to gain some water weight and stall a little, but the scale is moving again. This round was beef last round was chicken, and because I'm enjoying the beef I'm actually getting all of my much needed protein in. The test will be this upcoming week 4, so I will let you know how it goes.

The doctor suggested that I do longer rounds instead of p3 every 40 days so I'm doing 60 days this time. Longest I've even gone was 40 and skipping every 7th day... so that would have been 47 days. This time I'm not skipping, it slows me down too much. I've never had signs of immunity. Two years ago I did 4 rounds lost 80 lbs injections, skipping, 6week/9week/12week etc breaks in between. I followed everything by the book. It works for me. Gained it back by eating white foods so I'm losing it again for the very last time.

my doctor told me 6 weeks on (injections) (ph2)
6 weeks off (ph3)
6 weeks back on (ph2)
then 8 weeks off (ph3)
then if more weight to lose
then back on , then it goes to 10 weeks off
you add 2 weeks to the back "off" week for after every "on" week
dont do ph4 til the end of your weight loss

i dont understand why people would want to do 2,3,4 then go pack to 2 again
2 is rough! stay on it as long as you can
and some people dont lose on 3 or 4 so why wait to get the weight off

We're not supposed to lose on P3 and P4. That's why it's such a drag! I understand the idea behind resetting and resting, etc, but why reset at 30 lbs from your goal? That's why I love the pellets. Being homeopathic, we can do what we want with them and design a plan that works for us and fits our lifestyles.

Hubby is switching from rx injections to pellets, and is interested in cycling. I hope others chime in with their experiences.

The skin catching up is a really good point, Torister! I also think the body does get depleted without breaks from dieting...even with hhcg/hcg, there is a certain point at which the body needs to rest and rebuild.

Some people have a lot of success with cycling, others don't -- I did well with it, and I continue to cycle while I am on a muscle building/body recomposition and fitness quest (I'm doing this whole thing totally rogue at this point)... but I have definitely learned to appreciate the value of p3 for rebuilding mind, body, and soul -- not to mention building muscle, if that happens to be one's desire.

Lots of great info! I am on P3D5, just completed a very successful 75-day round of P2 (1st round was 49 days) and don't think I can wait until Christmas to start my third and final round. I was thinking of doing at least three weeks of P3 and moving back into P2. I'm also thinking of doing an interruption day then since I'll be on P2.

I'm stabilizing well so far and did have lots of energy on both rounds even with the extended period of time and short breaks.
