Well, I eat it all the time and I am still here!!! You will be fine. As long as the whole package was not consumed and you said you didn't have the whole package!!! I don't necessarily concern myself with the tiny bit of sugar they use in bacon, but there are brands without it.

I have heard that Gwaltney is without sugar. You still have to read the label to see which one is without, but that is the brand I have seen mentioned before. I have found it in my Wal-Mart.
