Need encouragement....no loss?

I have been keeping my diet very clean and under 500 cals with the HHCG...I was losing really well but then had a 2 lb gain I am trying to get past (don't know why.) Yesterday I had a hungry day...was very cautious, etc and expected a loss and had not lost anything. I know I am being sensitive...but could someone please encourage me?

I'm only on VLCD2, but I know that many here have said just stay with it, you WILL start losing again, and that lots of times inches are lost even though the scale doesn't move. One of the posters, can't remember who, called no-loss days "tighten & repair" days.

Hang in there!

Kristina, hang in there! Could be all sorts of things. I'd down the water today, keep eating clean and get to bed early if possible and get plenty of rest. The days I haven't lost have been after nights of crummy rest. Weird, I know but true for me. Just keep posting and believe

Is TOM near? It might surprise you on hhcg. It sure did me. I didn't have ANY forewarning! Funny thing though, SandS, right before TOM came, I posted on here about not losing any weight and feeling discouraged. Hang in there, buddy!

Also, I am CONVINCED sleep has something to do with it. Try to get as much as you can!

There are so many variables and sadly we cannot control them all. I have had some frustration along the way and all I can say is to stick with it. It will happen. Just stick to the plan as cleanly as possible and you will see results.

Thank you SO MUCH everyone. I am going to stick with it...have no other option!

My menu today is:

1 apple
3.5 grams white fish
3.5 grams asparagus
1 melba cracker.

Dinner:

3 grams of very lean beef
3.5 grams onion
1 apple
1 melba toast (dang they're small!)

I'm not close to TOM yet and I do feel thinner...I know I have lost weight it just discourages me to see a gain or no loss...especially when I am being so good. I am even anal about the whole shampoo and conditioner thing and tend to use vinegar and rain water only. I use Crystal deodorant...no creams, etc.

I have wondered though....I have handles raw chicken and beef and cut the fat off. I am not using gloves but I do it quickly and then wash my hands right away...could that be my problem??

The only other thing it may be is that I have added spices (but I have checked for sugars) so just chili powder and cinnamon...could that be the problem?

Hang in there, when you don't lose scale weight you are losing inches, (as long as you are on protocol). Do get some disposable gloves for handling raw meat just so you can put that worry out of your mind.

My round 1 P2 was a mess and I still managed to release 16 lbs. in 25 vlcd days and most days I felt no hunger or deprivation. If you're not too attached to the melba you can omit it, this helps some people. Just commit to 21 clean VLCD days, you can do anything for 3 weeks!

I am stuck for a week now at the same weight, but TOM came for me out of the blue (PCOS'er that has many other Endocrine issues and no TOM since March 2009).

I am also eating clean, very clean and no loss, but my clothes are getting a bit looser and DH mentioned I was looking smaller too.

I am on call this week for my job and have had several calls at odd times of the evening and night and sleeping in the recliner is making for less sleep than last week when I was having stellar losses.

Maybe the sleep and rest thing has more to do with it than I thought!!!

LL, I don't know if there really is anything to the sleep thing but I believe for me there definitely is. I've found this to be true whenever I'm losing. I try and make it a point to get to bed early even if I'm just going to watch mindless tv or read and sleep in if possible. TOM hasn't arrived yet but I'm waiting Wish he would!

Hang in there! I'm only on VLCD #4 so not much advice but lots of good vibes being sent down your direction

I agree with the sleeping thing. Go to bed early and try to get as much rest as you can. I went to bed really late last night, woke up early and weighed myself.. was up .2 so I drank a glass of water and went back to bed for 3 more hours. When I woke up, I was down 1 lb. Amazing what happens in my sleep I AM going to bed earlier tonight and will try to get a solid 8-9 hours of sleep if I can.

I'm rooting for you, friend

There was a poster on here last summer that used cinnamon on everything. Cinnamon is supposedly so good for you. Well, it turns out that her stall/not losing was due to the cinnamon she was using!! She has a genetic disorder that means that cinnamon is no good for her. She gave it up and lost really well afterwards. Be aware that something so good for you can not agree with your body!!!

Ladies,

For everyone who is stalling or not losing---please remember that you will lose an average of 0.5 per day. That is clearly stated in Dr S's P&I. You have to get past these days where you stand still. When you see no drop on the scale you have to look at the big picture. Lean--you have lost about 1 pound per day!!! That is fantastic!!!! So you average your weight lost over the days you are on plan and it averages at higher than what Dr S says you will lose. Just continue on plan like you were losing and it will show. You will be rewarded only when you are intentional. There is no need to cut things out--please keep the melba and grissini in (unless you are grain intolerant like Lean) and just be intentional!!!! This works--it really does. Take it from someone who has BTDT!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I will cut the cinnamon for a while. I woke up this morning and weighed and have lost another 1.2 lbs...this was my reward for throwing my mom's birthday party and having no cake, etc. Anyway, when I average my weight I am right on track...actually I am averaging over a pound a day. I'll be quiet and stop whining.

I am beginning to contribute mine to work coffee, not enough sleep or my HCG.

I looked on my bottle and no wonder I am hungry!! The dosage on my bottle starts out at 12X and I was told to get the 3X dosage (which I did order some and it is out for delivery according to the USPS website) which I will start tonight!!!

I am still losing inches even though the scale is not budging. I am wearing a size 14 dress today that I bought last night.

That is what I used for 3 rounds and did really well with it!! Released all 40 pounds I needed to get off without any real problems. The bottle with the 12X I mean. Sorry you are not feeling well on it. Hopefully the newer ones will do it for ya!!!

I hope the new drops solve your problem. I did my first round with a 6x bottle and am starting this one off with a bottle of 12x. I am curious to see if there is a difference. Good luck!

12x means the homeopathic strength of the drops. The higher the number the stronger the product.

Actually, the way homeopathy works, the lower the number, the stronger. So 3X is stronger than 6x and 6x is stronger than 12 x.
But it seems like everyone's drops are all working equally well!

The 12X has something to do with the number of times it was diluted or something, so the lower the number the more powerful it is.

The bottle I bought says 12X, 30X, 60X.

The new bottle says....... 3X, 6X, 12X, 30X, 60X So I believe there is more HCG in this new bottle.

Yeah, I started out good with that first bottle, then the hungries came back and I have been feeling sick, with a toothache, taking antibiotic for the tooth ache, having TOM right now and sticking to VLCD.

The hungries are not going away, I feel sick to the stomach and shaky from being hungry and my the weight on the scale is no longer dropping. I have been stuck at 230.0 for the past week.

I had called my Naturopath and she actually told me to do a couple of load days again and start over from scratch.

I am thinking I am going to just continue on.

If this bottle doesn't work then I am going to be forced to do the injections............says my doctor!!!

That this new bottle works, I don't want to give myself shots. She is kind of against the hHCG because she says they don't work. I was out to prove her wrong. Looks like she might be winning this one.
