Have you thought of pureeing some items together? If you consider the tomato your fruit you can roast it and some garlic, maybe add some spinach or leafy green, perhaps even your meat, spices then purée a while. I'm not sure what you can use as a thickening agent (would xanthum gum work for this? Perhaps a grissini?) but experimenting with what you have is key.

No I'm not a chef and never will be. *sigh* Hopefully someone who is can give you some more helpful advice. Sorry you're not feeling tip-top.

I make chicken soup a lot. I take my chicken allowance and boil in chicken broth (2C) then I add in some finely shredded cabbage, onion powder and garlic. It's wonderful.

Dawn said that the onion soup recipe in the Ph2 recipe section is really good

Another one I do is with beef cubed up small in 2C of broth and add fresh spinach.

I made some yesterday with organic chicken broth, water, diced celery and shredded grilled chicken. It was good and fairly thick since I used 4 stalks of celery.

I see renomom already posted about it. But that onion soup in the recipe sticky is awesome. I could eat it everyday. And I have had in P3 too!! Just too good.
