Today is VLCD1 for me. I was only up .4 from my 2nd loading day for a total of 2.4 lbs. Surprising considering the food I ate
Did well this AM. Was hungry, but went away with drinking water. Had a black iced coffee for bfast which made me feel better...an apple around 11:00 AM and just ate a burger with 2 celery stalks. So far so good. We shall see what the scale says tomorrow I guess. I feel good tho! Haven't had a diet coke since Thursday! That is amazing to/for me! |

Before, we needed to wait for Cherie (mod) to start the thread so she could put in the TOS about what we couldn't discuss in regards to HCG,
BUT, since the TOS is a sticky now, this should be fine! |

sorry been gone so long...had some sickness and am still not 100%. It's played havoc with my numbers...or else pre-TOM has...or else three week slow down.
I still am drinking broth to help settle my tummy. Lots of personal stress right now too, which doesn't help my tummy either! |

Hi Ladies! Scale stayed the same today. I think it's a combo of Bernice and Tom
but hey, at least I didn't gain. I'm sure tomorrow will bring a lovely release ![]() Here's today's R1P2VLCD13 menu: Chili (recipe in the recipe thread) with an apple Grilled chicken breast, MF balsamic cucumbers, sliced strawberries The chili will be a nice change. I almost decided not to make it but went for it last night so it would have overnight for the spices to mingle |

Thanks for starting us fresh this month Kandi!! We definitely need to start a new thread before the old one gets to 100 pages LOL. Maybe go by weeks now instead of months since we have our own "spot"??!! We have so many newbies and it is hard to sift through all the stuff that gets put in one thread. I think that it would be great!!!

Dawn, I think that is a great idea. Easier for someone reading old posts too when they're considering the plan. In other news, Dang! that chili is filling! I used more tomatoes than the recipe (I had a can of roasted tomatoes and the whole thing was 70 cals and I had the calories in my alotment for the day so I went for it We'll see what the scale thinks about my decision tomorrow or the next day Great day for it too. Even though it is still hot here (AZ) it is a rainy day and sitting inside in the airconditioning makes it easy to imagine it is a winter day. If my dh was still alive he'd turn the air down super low and light a fire in the fireplace He was very fun! ![]() |

Congratulations to all the "losers"
![]() Had a rough week. My mom is in the hospital in ICU. The doctors can't figure out what may be wrong with her. ![]() So I did not eat 100% clean the whole week. I did my best and the results are below: 07/26/10 Start Date: *did not weigh during load days as the batteries had died on the scale* ![]() VLCD day 1: 245 VLCD day 2: 242.4 VLCD day 3: 239.8 VLCD day 4: 238.6 - Mom admitted to hospital. ate off plan. VLCD day 5: 238.8 - ate off plan VLCD day 6: 238.8 - 20 potato chips (emotional eating. but at least I stpped myself at 20) VLCD day 7: 238.4 Total for week 1: 6.6 lbs. I have been following protocol today. |

Yeah, I'm not at ALL hungry today. I put down my plate of lunch midway through and didn't pick it up again for a half hour. Then, I only ate half my apple.

good morning everyone and happy August!
I slept til noon today. Went to NYC yesterday and had a great time. I was worried a little that I'd not have good energy for lots of walking, but I felt great. I stayed on plan and didn't even finish all the food I brought. I'm even down today, since I slept so late. We'll see what tomorrow brings. |

Today's the first day that I'm actually craving a lot of food.
I'm not hungry, I miss the big spread of food. Right now I have some fish defrosting and I'm trying to decide on a veggie - I'll probably be cooking them together but I can't seem to decide what I want! Very frustrating lol - I'm fixated on the *idea* of food but not being necessarily hungry for it. I've no doubts when I get to that point tonight I'll be hungry so doubtful that's an issue. ![]() No I'm quite hydrated thank you - just had my dinner apple and Melba so I'm going to be good until dinner. I just find it amusing how I want a smorgasbord laid out in front of me while not being hungry. ![]()

Ran into someone in the market today who hasn't seen me in a few days. She said "Wow! You look so good!" She said she can really see a difference. Nice to hear!
I envy those of you who don't have cravings. I still get them. Mostly when I see something I want, rather than just thinking about it you know? Should I up my dose to get rid of the cravings? I am hungry in the morning and around the time I eat, otherwise not really. |

Good day everyone.
I finally got TOM!!!! Haven't had one since March............dang PCOS!!! The HCG I think is doing what my Doctor said it would. Hopefully it will reset the Pituitary, Thyroid, Adrenals along with the Hypothalamus. The Dr said it would and I trust her. Didn't stick to protocol yesterday and I ate everything in sight. ![]() Made myself sick and today I am not hungry in the slightest. I have made some soup and sticking with that. I have no gain, maintaining. |

even though I'm not hungry it is tempting sometimes BTW, I wonder if the eating of the fruit before your meal is contributing to your hunger? I eat all my foods together at lunch and dinner. I wonder if it would make a difference to you if you did that? Just a thought. Hang in there! Oh, and the other thing that helps me is to go to bed early if you can and watch some mindless tv or read or hang out online. Quote:
So rewarding! No idea about the cravings dosage. Hopefully one of our resident experts can make a suggestion to you. |

Oh, well about 2 a.m. this morning I woke up with a raging appetite and I grab a bag of almonds (the little 100 calories packs by Emerald) and ate them; not on the Dr. Simeon protocol. I guess I will have to wait and see how much trouble I'm in for that 100 calories I wasn't suppose to have. Almonds at that!!!! Dang I screwed up couldn't help it. I'll grab a bottle of water next time . Don't know what I was thinking. Also, today at church was communion and I really needed to take my communion; because I need Jesus to help me with the battles of my life including this weightloss fight. So, I will probably see a gain, then again maybe not. But through GOD all things all possible. I feel great, church service was nice; pastor delivered a great above the top sermon. I did weigh myself before church and my weight is 233; I have always lingered at the 235 mark and I think my body is going to fight against me hard on letting me entire into the 220's. For years, and years, my stable weight has been 235, I didn't go up from it and I didn't go down from it. Just a few months ago I saw 240 and almost lost it. I need I had to start a different way of eating. I know I can do this, but I'm going to need GOD, my children, my spouse, family, and friends to encourage me and to continue to pray for me.
I hope each of you have great releases this week. Exotic

Wow, haven't been able to be online until now and we've already got another thread going.
Yesterday was a good loss (finally!), so I was expecting a bounce today -- because that just seems to be how my body works. And, indeed, I was up .8 this morning. As long as I don't bounce more tomorrow and completely erase my 1.6 from yesterday, I can live with that. Still no TOM and spotting has stopped -- I have no idea what is up with that! I've decided to make this a short round, because I don't think I can get all the way to goal in one and I don't think it would be good to have less than 10 to lose when starting the second. Plus I am very focused on stabilizing with this. I also think that I am going to switch to the Rx HCG for the second round because I think those last lbs will be very stubborn and I want the maximum effectiveness. |
