What about a cup of tea , iced coffee with flavored sugerfree sweeter, kool-aid with stevia or sweeter. something to drink always helps me .

WOE: VSG 75 lbs. down and expecting baby 6/2013! :)
DJ, the hunger lasted about 3 days for me. Drinking seltzer water really helped me get through it. The bubbles filled up my tummy and took away the hunger pains. I bought lemon lime seltzer water and sweetened it myself with stevia extract.

also, ok, i've read P&I multiple times and i know you HAVE to do Simeon's for the weight loss...but if this turns out to not be a program i can do is there danger in taking HCG for the other effects? seriously other than being hungry i feel like a million bucks, and i even had mono recently. i saw an endocronologist recently and had extreme adrenal fatigue, insulin resistence and high high cortisol. my thyroid was fine.

For me the hunger lasted about 2 days. When the hcg gets in your system, the hunger just stops for the most part. Hang in there!!!

Yay losers!

Hi DJ! I don't have any advice on the hunger thing, but I can't imagine you'll do much harm by eating an extra cucumber over the course of the day. It is on plan after all and some people munch on pieces of apple throughout the day or as extra mini-meals. I hope you can stick with it--the results are worth it.

AWESOME releases ladies!!!

I've made a decision to move on to P3 and work on maintaining my P2 loss. Then in 6 wks I plan to start an intentional 21 day round 2 of P2 and hope to lose 20 lbs.

We're going to the Great Smokey mountains again this Christmas and I hope to be much smaller than last year! I also hope to be firmly in P4 by then!

Good luck on p3! I live a couple of hours from the GS Mountains and I love it there. I keep saying I'll go at Christmas but haven't made it yet. Are you there on Christmas Day or just during the Christmas season?

Down another 1/2 pound today, TOM arrived and I feel like I've been run over by a truck (that backed up to make sure it hit me then ran over me again).

I know with the prescription stuff, the book says to stop during tom but do I have to with the homeopathic stuff too? It normally stops the hunger but right now I could gnaw on my arm, I'm so hungry!

Great losses everyone.

Sorry you're feeling bad. I know that feeling well. I use hhcg and I didn't stop during TOM. I also had food visions and cravings w/tom. This too shall pass. Hang in there.

Congrats on your loss!

WOE: low carb my weigh
weighed in this morning at 179.8
That's 1.6 down from yesterday

I think today will be the last day of this round. As far as the drops go. The bottle should be empty today. So...2 more days of VLC and then eggs and cheese!!!

I gave my last bottle to my "right arm" at work. Young mother of 2 who just cannot get rid of the weight she gained. She was pretty slim when she came to work for us 4 years ago. So...gonna try to help her out. Told her I'd supply the drops. Now...I'd better order some more, cuz she'll need another bottle and I will have to do 1 more round at least myself.

MutantMom - I hope you do continue to post here. Your success definitely convinced me to try this. No pressure - I'd just love to know what you final loss was, and hope to read about your continued success.
Thanks, I hope you have as much success as I did...two more rounds for me and I will be at goal (that is providing the R2 is as successful as R1 was. Stay as clean as possible and you will do well!

In theory that would be great, I've learned the hard way that is not always the way it is...which is fine, as much as I love the support, not having it does not make hhcg less effective

I'll check out the July thread too. I'm just always curious about whats working for others.
Again, the way I did P2 is not for everybody, nor do I say my way or no way. My results are probably a combination of things.

I think I'm the slowest loser here (day 23, 10 pound net loss), and I will still celebrate our fast losers and it won't make me feel bad!

BTW, my tummy is feeling better again! I had to use a truckload of acidopholus (sp?)

Then DH and DD had the same thing, so it must have been a stomach bug without a fever.
I had stomach problems quite often during R1...I would wake up feeling like I'd drank all night long, the good thing about that was that it made not eating breakfast really easy Thanks for the support! It really does not matter how much one loses, what is important is that you have found something you enjoy and can stick with, your doing a great job!

I am not losing. I lose a pound one day, and it is back on the next. I am eating strictly on protocol - no cheats. I already did an apple day and I'd rather have a root canal than do another one. I am on vlcd25 and I weigh exactly the same as I did 7 days ago. It is like I'm stabilizing, but I'm still only eating ~500 calories.

I'm down 15 lbs this round overall, but I feel like I'm spinning my wheels. I'd like to go 40 days (and I spent an hour the other day portioning chicken and lean round steak into 3.5 oz portions getting ready for it) but maybe my body is trying to tell me something?

I haven't run for 2 weeks, but as soon as my running clothes get out of the dryer I'm going to do C25k W5D1. If I'm not down tomorrow I'm calling this round done and moving on to P3.

Ugh, how frustrating. I hope some of the vets will give you some good advice. Could you post your menus and what kinds of exercises you've been doing? Any new products or supplements? I gave up beef and seem to be doing better for now.

Ladidah, that's kind of what I was feeling too..... except for I had 3 off plan days thrown in there that was contibuting to the spinning of wheels. So I'm cutting this round off at VLCD 25 and I'm down exactly 14 lbs. not including load weight. I'm happy with that, but hope to lose 20 with my next P2. Only 21 day rounds from here on out!

I think that is why some do ONLY the short rounds. No use torturing yourself!! I lost 15 pounds on my short 21/23 days and that was enough for me. I would say cut your losses and look forward to P3 a bit earlier than scheduled. The P2 foods will stay good in the freezer til your next round. And at this point--maybe your body is saying "enough already". Good idea to listen than force it into something it doesn't want to do.

Don't get discouraged, just move on to P3. My goal was to stop when my body stopped losing...sounds like you are there. 15lbs is a great amount of loss in one month! I think, as with any plan, our bodies get used to the way we are eating and learns how to hold on to the weight, the great thing about this plan is that it gives your body a break from losing, thus allowing you to sort of shock your body into losing again once you are done with P3 and P4 (which I've decided to actually do). I think this is what makes this such a successful way of losing. Enjoy P3!

I'm having the same problem. Today is vlcd24 for me. It's related to TOM and the stomach bug as well. Also church potluck - I had 250 calories, but they weren't on protocol. Down a pound today, so at least my weight isn't rising anymore.

Here's my last few weigh ins, starting with today:
180.6
181.6
180.4
179.4
179.8
179.0
180.8
182

TOM started yesterday, so hopefully the water weight will come off and things will move. It is frustrating to watch things stay the same!

I'm definitely sticking it out, as I have the RX and would hate to throw it out!

I'm not going to do an apple day, as I think I would FAIL at that.

Just wanted you to know you aren't alone! I also sort of feel the same...stabilized at 500 calories a day. No hunger any more. But hopefully we've both just got water filling up our fat cells, and we are both due some big WHOOSHES soon!

BTW, I finally made the P2 chili and LOVED IT! Anyone who hasn't tried it go for it! YUM!

This is what I was going to suggest. It seems your body wants to stabilize here, why not let it? After a few weeks of P3 (and P4 if you're so inclined) do another P2 round and blow right past this stall.

Question
I have zero appetite-non,nada,zip.Do I have to eat?I could literally just drink water and be ok with that.I'm only taking 10 drops 3x a day...just not hungry and honestly I am tired of the same foods.I can tell I will only do the short round because I can't just quit eating altogether .loland nothing sounds good.
Yesterday-I ate a cucumber...........I know this probably isn't good........who would think I'd have trouble eating 500 calories.
I'm going to try the chili today since I really like it...unless you all say it is ok not to eatlolthen I probably won't.

Just checking in.

Glad to see some great releases going on. Those that aren't, but haven't finished their short round...hang in there. Those who are not losing, but were planning on a long round...I think the advice to listen to your body is a good one. Call P2 done and move on...there can always be another round! I know I am doing short rounds in spite of the amount of weight I need to lose. I think it will benefit me in the long run. This is all new to me, but I am liking it so far!!

Yesterday-I ate a cucumber...........I know this probably isn't good........who would think I'd have trouble eating 500 calories.
I'm going to try the chili today since I really like it...unless you all say it is ok not to eatlolthen I probably won't.
Well...I would focus on getting the protein in before the veggies. I think that is more important.

Kim I'd suggest at least forcing your protein down as you don't want to be deficient there. However if you're really having no hunger than don't eat otherwise; definitely drink your water and have the protein though. Hopefully your appetite will eventually come back!

I didn't have a loss today. I was starving yesterday and have had a headache for 2 days. TOM is coming in a couple of days, so I assume that's why I am having hunger now. I plan to dose through it.

Hey everyone! Well, loading is over! Praise the Lord!! Now I'm starting VLCD1. I hope this weight comes off fast because I haven't seen these numbers in 4 months. I'm pretty much a chicken-kinda girl so that's what's on the menu for the day.

BTW, for those that eat ground beef, the booklet that came with my hhcg says after cooking to rinse it in hot water This will get rid of more fat from the beef. Just be sure you wring it out well

Have a good day everyone!!
