Love Tropical Traditions! I have two buckets of the coconut flakes in my freezer! Yummy mixed into heavy whipped cream with stevia and cocoa powder!

Virgin or extra virgin is the same w/ coconut oil... it's just a marketing toll to go extra virgin. (it ain't olive oil). If it doesn't say virgin then it's over processed and will no longer smell like coconut and is more like a hydrgenated crisco type thing. As long as it's virgin you are fine. :-) It's also great for the skin and as a massage oil.

I can get mine at Vitamin Shoppe or a bunch of other local places for less than online but ymmv. Netrition carries it for a reasonable price as well if you need to order some other things along with it. I've never done the coconut thing but I'm interested in it and it seems like a good way to get a goodie in that is P3 friendly too.

It feels so weird not to be dosing - they say it takes 21 days to form a habit and, well...

Final LDW is 204.0 for a loss of 14.2 lbs. Folks I'd complained about not "rockstarring" it, but wow: 14 lbs in 3 weeks. That's INCREDIBLE no matter what diet you're on!!

I think this will be maintainable. If I'd broken into Onederland I'd probably be stressed about staying there; this is close enough for me to be happy and not have to worry I won't maintain (well, worry too much; I'll still be stressing about staying there ).

I've got a fridge with the beginnings of P3 foods but next week I head up to Canada to see my sis and I've no idea if she has a scale. Crossing my fingers I can maintain while I'm away!!!

Way to Go, Sarah!

Great point about not having to stress over staying in wonderland too.

There's a new weekly thread started, since this one is getting so long. Come share the news there too!

Hello all, I was reading about the hcg diet and all I can find is you must over eat for at least a week before you can even start it. Something like 2500 calories. Gezzzzzzzz! I have just spent 2 months losing 20 lbs. Don't know if I can. If it don't work I will have to get back on my low carb diet all over again. I have to stay pretty low in carbs to loose any weight.
How did you get started on the low carb HCG diet?

it isn't low carb at all first google POUNDS AND INCHES by Dr. Simeons the pdf and read it throughly

IDK what you read about over eating by 2500 calories but it wasn't anything we do
the first 2 days of the diet WHILE DOSING are gorge days but otherwise i think you had some mis information

I echo Deb's comments. It is NOT low carb. I know all about low carb. I have lost ALOT of weight following Atkins and it stopped working for me as far as loss, but I have kept off what I lost. The HCG diet is working for me when nothing else would.

Google Pounds and Inches and read and learn about Dr. Simeon and his protocol. As far as eating 2500 calories goes...I have no idea where you are reading this, but the only time you are eating alot (to past fullness) is on the first two days of injections when the HCG has not been in the system long enough to release abnormal fat.

I don't suggest starting this plan without educating yourself on it. Good luck!

Yes I agree read P&I several times to understand it fully
Soonies "Crib notes to Dr S"
buy whatever HCG product you are going to use
injections, hHcg drops or spray
take recomended doses and do your 2 loading days
eat to overfull anything you will miss on the first 23 days of
phase 2 (the losing phase)
PH2 menu
each day eat
2 fruits (apple, orange, strawberries 12 large grapefruit or 1 whole med grapefruit)
2 servings of 3.5 oz of lean meats (chicken breast, lean beef, lean white fish)
2 servings of allowed veggies (see P&I)
2 servings of Grissini/melba toast/wasa crackers (I never bought any)
liquids alowed unsweet tea, black coffee, LOTS OF WATER
(1 TBSP milk allowed if needed for morning coffee/tea daily)
Sweet and Low is allowed if needed
you and either skip brekkie and eat 2 meals or space your servings out durring the day what works for me is to space my menu looks like this
brekkie
apple
lunch
1 meat and 1 veggie serving
snack
fruit
supper
1 meat and 1 veggie serving
if I havent had my fruit mid-day I will eat it as a bedtime snack

Hi
Just wanted to stop in and tell everyone my happy news! I am on VLCD3 today and from preload weight of 231.8 I am down to 225.4. The first day I lost 4 lb's exactly and this morning I was down another 2.4. I am amazed and so grateful to have found this wonderful HCG. One of my aunts lost over 100lb's another has lost a little over 40lb's so far and my mom has lost 12lb's.
Wanted to let everyone know what an inspiration you all have been to me. I've just been soaking all this info in the last couple days. It's great to know that I have a support system; especially on the days I'll probably need it!
God bless everyone!

good morning all!!
got off work and DH hadn't thawed anything out for me to cook for supper so he wanted to go out to eat "where do you want to go??" "Anywhere I can get a salad" (thinking not perfect but as close as I'm going to get) He wanted Mexican (of course) so I got a Polo ensalada (chicken salad) yes it was mixed vegges and yes it had black olives, cheese, and Jalepenos on it. and I ate exactely 10 chips w/ salsa figured I wasn't going to lose any weight but maybe (crossing fingers) I wouldn't gain
got up this morning to a .8 lb loss!!!
200.0!!!

Hi, I am investigating HCg. What is the purpose of loading? After all the discipline I have had during Stillmans, and not wanting to gain afterwards, but needing to continue to lose weight, I figure this is the way to go. But why the calorie load prior to the dosing?

Hello all, just wanted to pop in and let you know tomorrow is the last day of P3 for me...it went well, did not do great in the beginning but have maintained all of the loss since getting help from Dawn (I wasn't eating enough calories which is why I kept losing) What would we do without her. Sunday I start P4, I'm not as anxious to get back to P2 as I was in the beginning, and I'm loving the way I look! I'm in 16s for the most part (some 18 pants) but no W sizes at all... I hope everybody is doing well!

Way to go! I'm glad you did a successful P3. It seems like you just started.

Good luck with P4 and don't be a stranger! Congrats on the 16's!
