SO GLAD I decided to go on and start before I leave for vacation. Who knows what the scale would read when I got back!

I noticed on here that some people who have done low carb for a long time stop losing weight on it after awhile. I wonder if those that have mainly eaten low carb for a long time before trying hcg lose slower than someone who never eats low carb. Just curious....
It is hard to load but keep at it!! You will not be sorry.

shrimp - asparagus - tomato or orange

I lost .4 pounds since yesterday. I haven't lost much in the last couple days, but the inches are moving. I am wearing a shirt today to work that I haven't worn in a year due to it being to tight. Gotta love shopping in your closet!

I certainly will. I need to finish this round on the hHcG and then do Phase 3 and 4, so it will likely not be until at least the middle of Sept. that I start R2 on the Rx stuff. But I will certainly report back

Today I am back down to Saturday's good loss number after the "bounce" of yesterday. I always seem to have something of a bounce before the new low number sticks. But onward and downward.....

Congrats to all the releasers and the stabilizers (because that is also soooo important)!

I wish there was something to "snack" on, but in my reading I get that there clearly is no free snacking - even with low cal/no cal options. Am I wrong?

You're right. Unless you save your fruit or grissini as a snack.

That's how I am doing it. I got really sick of the veggies and this was a good solution. I only eat half of one at a time, so it isn't much but it satisfies me.

Now, you didn't hear this from me, but...... I have heard of others on yahoo groups talking about the snacking in between. If you are desperate, the one lady said her clinic told her to do this: celery and lettuce are so low in calories and they are also on the food list!!!, that if you NEED to eat something then you can have those in between your meals. If you have run out of all your 8 choices, then that is "not so bad of a choice"!! She may have said something about sugar free jello, but that is DEFINITELY OFF PLAN and I do not suggest that in the least. But, considering the alternative....

But I am putting this out there: I never did that!! I did not find a need for any extra food. Some days I had trouble getting them all in! When I felt I needed something extra I drank a cup of tea or more water.

Mine has sweeteners, yes indeed. But I felt it was necessary. And yes, I take 1 with each meal. So if I saved my fruit for eating alone I would have 3 pills a day. Otherwise I was sure to get in at least 2 a day.

I use my apple slices as my snack, leaving the protein and veggies for my entres. Considering I get 16 slices and only eat a couple at a time it works for me. Salt cravings call for pickles but those count toward the veggie of one meal. So far it's worked for me. Whenever I'm hungry I drink ~16oz of water/tea then re-evaluate in 10 minutes. YMMV.

I keep my apple from lunch and eat it around 3 o'clock for an afternoon snack. I know this may sound crazy, but I cut it into really small bite size pieces, and I sprinkle salt on it. It totally satisfies my sweet, salty, AND crunchy cravings. And because I cut it into small bite size pieces, it lasts longer.

**GLOMS** Missed you around here madam!! So, what was the final tally? Did you make it the whole round or quit when you lost the maximum amount?

Good luck in P3! When do you think you'll start R2P2?

I use my apples to snack on - one late morning and one before bed. If I eat them with my meals, I'm too full.

They're crunchy, sweet and satisfying. I put salt on mine as well, or dip in WF caramel or chocolate dip. Sometimes both.

Gracie, I had taken several of them before I figured out dextrose was sugar. Yeah, I did.not.know.that. I wonder if that slowed me down any.

Dawn, I am finding I don't need the b12 'as much' since my potassium has lined out. I would like to have it though. Interesting that yours has sugar too.

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new here, haven't really figured out all the forum board stuff just yet. But, after spending all last week reading the July thread I have decided to give HCG a try. I can't wait! I'll be ordering my HCG today and then get started once I receive it. Is the cheaper HCG (I saw some for $15.50/2 oz) just as good as the $60/oz HCG? I've got lots more questions, but I'm going to try to google the answers to them. Ya'll are all such an inspiration! I can not believe how much ya'll are losing! And can wait to become one of you!

No P4 this month, I will do one next time around, I'm too excited about losing, I did really well, that's all I really want to say. I was still losing on day 23 but decided I did not want to push the loss any further and not be able to stabilize in P3. I did not expect the loss this AM but I’m ok with it because it is well within the 2lb rule. I will continue eating as I did on P2 just more of it…oh and I’m adding in those things I would not eat before like red meat, cabbage, tomatoes, and strawberries. I had cabbage yesterday…my stomach does not like that decision much…

I'm hoping some of the experienced members can provide you with some info. Since Netrition is selling it, I'm not sure how much we can say about it here I've seen it on the river for 8 bucks and change this weekend. Really makes a person wonder about one brand vs another that claim to have the same ingredients, etc.

LOL!! That's why I'm keeping cabbage out of my diet now - I *know* what it does to me! Of course, for those times Bernice doesn't show up it's a Godsend!

Congrats on the loss, I hope that next time is just as great! Sounds like you're going to have a hard time maintaining - your body just wants to keep releasing those pounds!!! (lol bet it's the first time that's been a problem )

Look forward to seeing you back on these boards in 3 weeks (unless you're not leaving? )!

I have decided I will not be doing the long round anymore. I have eaten off protocol 3 times already and I know it's because I can't put my mind around doing P2 45-50 days. I'm on day 25 now and I'm going to keep going until my spray runs out but trust me Round 2 will be only 3 weeks for me! I know I can stick with it 100% for 3 weeks.

That would be thanks to my pre-loading loading:laugh: I think that's what's bothering me. I can't wait to start seeing it come off!!! Has anyone else felt like this?? SO GLAD I decided to go on and start before I leave for vacation. Who knows what the scale would read when I got back!

I noticed on here that some people who have done low carb for a long time stop losing weight on it after awhile. I wonder if those that have mainly eaten low carb for a long time before trying hcg lose slower than someone who never eats low carb. Just curious....

I did the same thing! Today is my first loading day, but ever since I knew I was starting this plan I've been eating whatever I felt like, and my weight was 163.4 this morning I can't wait for the weight to come off!

So far today for my first load day:

salted cashews
sesame bagel with cream cheese
everything bagel with taylor ham & cheese
coffee with heavy cream

I have a list of things I'll choose from for the rest of the day, just not sure what that will be yet.

So excited to be joining you all, I just keep telling myself not to freak out about the load weight and am looking ahead to the losses I will hopefully see by this time next week.
