Kathleen...GREAT loss! I am still in P2, but I have already read *alot* about P3 and how to transition into it. Go *slowly* and in your case even more so. Add things in one at a time like dressing one day and see how your body reacts to it, etc. I wish you luck!

I'm a little confused about ending rounds. I thought with drops you started eating P3 48 hours after your last day. With RX the protocol says 72 hours - and we do injections in the AM, so if my last injection is Thursday morning, then I would start P3 Sunday.

Is that right?

Good job Paula! Perhaps it is time for you to transition into P3. I love low carb as well, but I hadn't even been able to lose a single pound in 8 months. I feel your frustration!! I am doing a short round myself and am looking forward to P3. I have been "maintaining" for months now!

That's right for the RX where you only take the HCG once a day (AM). Sunday AM will be 72 hours for you. I will finish my hHCG tonight right before dinner so technically Friday dinner would be my 48 hour point but I'll extend 'til breakfast Saturday morning so I can start fresh on a whole new day.

Good morning, all:

I am down another 1.6 lbs. this morning, for a total of 3.2 following R1P2VLCD4.

I am finally not hungry, and my headachy, woozy feelings are subsiding. I am happy.

Have a great day!

Wow so many new faces.Welcome everyone. You all will be thrilled with your results.I have been losing about a lb a day since starting the protocol
So from 190.4 to somewhere in the 160s in 3 1/2 weeks.

My battery in my scale went bonkers so no weigh- in this AM. Going to go to town and get one this morning because for the 1st time in my life I REALLY love weigh-in time.
I feel like the incredible shrinking woman on this diet.Started almost a month ago in a tight bloated sz. 16 and my sz 12 skinny jeans dont need to be unbuttoned to take off.LIFE.IS.GOOD.

I have heard of people going either of these two ways:

1) 72 hours from last injection (last injection Thursday AM - start P3 Sunday AM)

2) 72 hours without hCG (last injection Thursday AM, Thursday is WITH hCG, Fri, Sat, Sun w/o hCG - P3 starts Monday AM)

I did the second option, doctors orders.

D7 of P3 for me and I'm stabilizing very well. It is really taking very little effort to stay within 2 lbs of my LDW. I was up 1.8 yesterday, but I didn't stress about it and I was down to within 0.8 today. I'm basically eating P2 foods, but mixing my veggies (woo!), having cream in my coffee, and eating salsa and sour cream on my (double portion) proteins. I am also eating 3-4 fruits a day, so I am probably going over on that - but since they're allowed, I'm on it. Fruit is one of the main things I miss on Atkins, so I feel like I'm living it up.
Good for you!
Wow! What a dream come true to be able to stabilize so well! Can't wait! That's awesome you didn't let that little fluctuation freak you out.

Focus on that! I think we get spoiled on this diet. Really 14 pounds in one month is amazing!

Me too! I've only been on it 6 days. But I have NEVER been able to lose more than 2 lbs a month, much less 5 in a week! Woo hoo!!

Love all the new "faces" and everyone is doing so well.

Everyone seems to be doing great! I only lost .2 last night. Hard not to feel disappointed but I will just keep my eye on the bigger picture. I am above the average loss of .5 so that is good. Hope everyone has a great day!

Ugh I feel like CRAP this morning. My back hurts, my midsection hurts (no localized pain just a general feeling of "blah"), my head is all foggy and I'm tired despite having over 7hrs of sleep. I want a nap that lasts the rest of the day but I have too much to do after work so that's not going to happen. I couldn't even get the scale to work this morning: it was fluctuating between nearly 2 lbs and everywhere in between. It's a cheapo Wallyworld contraption and I needed a new one anyway.

It also feels like Bernice wants to leave the building but won't go without a fight. I took an antacid (it tasted minty ) this morning but so far little noticeable relief. Just more of the same.

Sounds like could also be PMS?
Have you tried 1000mg of magnesium and smooth move tea? Works awesome!
Take before going to bed and she should be there in the morning.

Get a digital scale. It's so worth it. I think I got mine at Walmart for $20. Love it!

Does hhcg make your skin super absorbant to items other than fat? Yesterday me and the Dude were cleaning my carpet and using a detergent in the cleaner made for pet stains that had enzymes (to help break up pet mess). I wasn't thinking too much and handled my fair share pouring out the used mix. Could some of that had been absorbed? I've never had kidney problems but my back hurts right in that area. The only other thing I can think of is food (3 whites/1 whole egg hardboiled, 1/2 grapefruit and raw spinach this morning)...

I'm still hungry (I know it will go away...I hope it goes away) with the drops, I can't imagine as it leaves your system how hungry you can get.
I can tell almost immediately when the hhcg is out of my system. I am ravenous!!! It is really close to the 48 hours - if I am starving I will usually eat more protein.

Goodness Sarah, I hope you feel better soon! I take a probiotic every day no matter what phase I'm on, have been for several yrs.

Congrats to all the releasers!

I'm down for the second day in a row on P3, which I'm very happy about! Down .6 and under 195 which is where I want to stay until round 2 mid September!

Good Morning,

I ordered the Platinum drops last night. I am both excited and scared. Was going to do this with homeopathic doc but she is hard to get in to see. She seems to always have issues and cancels or forgets the appt so I decided to do it on my own. With your help, of course. I have been reading as much as I can. I do have the P and I book and earlier in July I did do a little posting on this site. I do take bio identical hormones and a few vitamins but it looks as if others on here do also. As soon as the drops get here I will be a regular poster as well as a regular reader.

Welcome Mary! Looking forward to watching your success!

Releasers! Down another .5 this morning for 18.5 pounds released in 22 VLCD's! Against my better judgement I'm going to dinner with my galpal (Ms. Islands fiasco pal) and I've decided to order the Caesar steak salad. I'll get just the greens and the steak and I'm bringing a little container of my own salad dressing. This should be fine but I know the steak is a larger portion so I think I'll have them put half on the salad and box the other half. I know I'll be a pain in the neck to the waitstaff but I'll tip well for the accomodations. TOM is still not here but I keep feeling like it should be arriving so whatevah! Just have to wait it out I suppose. It's not like I have a choice just hope it doesn't turn up at an awkward time

Thanks! I feel better about this dinner because I'm better prepared. Nothing is going to interfere with my plan needs. She wants to pick me up but I told her I'll meet her there since I want to do some shopping in the area beforehand. Not really, but she doesn't know that

Forgot to post my menu for VLCD23:
Grilled shrimp, grilled asparagus, sliced apple
1/2 grapefruit before I leave for dinner, Romaine greens, steak, homemade dressing at restaurant.

I'm having spinach with egg whites topped with 2 TBS of salsa, would you consider the salsa as a spice, or as a fruit since it's mostly a tomato and your not supposed to mixed veggies?

Am I being too OCD?

I don't use salsa but in this situation I'd count it as a fruit (tomatoes) but it does have onions and peppers in it right? Not on protocol but YMMV. Most of us have our exceptions I would use hot sauce instead (freebie) and then have my fruit left to eat.

Well, I did something dumb....

I forgot to bring my protein for lunch today. Went to the local market to get some prepared chicken. The only kind I found had oil in it. So, instead I opted for some buffalo chicken lunchmeat (which I KNEW wouldn't be a great choice either). Ate it. Got back to my desk and checked the ingredients online and it has sugar in it. Of course. Not sure if the chicken with oil would have been any better, but.. ARG! I am so mad at myself as I am usually well prepared for my lunches.
