[QUOTE=MistyLoo;13778669]I mean Bernice has come to visit and I think she's moved in. She makes her presence know about every half hour.
And my stomach feel like . I don't eat breakfast, I never have. Yesterday I had (L.)a HB patty with sliced tomatoes and onion (D.) 2 scrambled eggs with sausage and the rest of my tomato I was still so full I had a hard time getting comfortable when I went to bed 4 hours later. I don't really care for fruit or most veggies. Now if we want to talk about chili-cheese fritos or cheese crackers, or cheese enchiladas you can see where I put this weight on in the first place. [QUOTE] I remember feeling queasy when I first started P3. It was like I didn't want to eat. Don't worry, you get over that pretty fast If I were you, I would eat the same as P2 but double your protein, get rid of the melba toast, and add butter to your veggies until your tummy adapts to P3. I recommend doing a full P3 and P4 just to give your body a break. But, interruptions can be good too. Sometimes a week interruption while staying in your 2 pound window can jump start your losses. HTH

Gosh Gracie, you have been so helpful to me today!
I've been looking forward to getting back to the gym in P3, but that's only because I've been on a gym kick lately. Prior to my gym kick I was on a "never have enough time to get to the gym" kick. So I guess I'm going to save exercise for P4 that way if I don't get around to the gym for a couple of weeks it won't hurt me. Thanks for the great info! |

Also, I should mention, I have the greatest exboyfriend ever! Really, you should all consider getting an ex like mine.
We're doing this diet together (despite the fact that he doesn't need to lose any weight) and he's been buying all the stuff that I needed just as long as make up all his meals for him. He just came by my work and brought me a Route 44 Ice Tea from Sonic. Then he's headed over to my house to fix my closet doors. If that sounds weird, he's also my landlord. You wouldn't think having a ex for a landlord wouldn't work out, but it's great for us. And despite the fact that our relationship is over he still gives me a HUGE discount on my rent. ![]() |

Thanks Gracie, you're a doll. I only have 8 more lbs to get to goal which is why I'm considering going on with P2. Right now I just feel like if I can't have what I want to eat, I would just as soon not eat.
You've given me something to think about. ![]() |

Awesome news!

Oh thank you! That brings a major smile to my face! I am hopeful since everyone is different and I plan to follow protocol perfectly that I will stabilize! Hopefully the hydrocortisone won't be an issue either! Awesome news for your husband!! Have a good night! |

Well, if you are following Dr. Simeon's protocol he says that you need a *minimum* of 6 weeks in between the HCG rounds. Your body needs to really stabilize. From everything I have read, I will be increasing the time in between rounds with each subsequent round.

Gracie, thanks so much for all of your wisdom. It is very much appreciated.
Having a not hungry day, which is nice. I'm just now having my first meal I just sort of forgot to eat Btw, when I plan on having chili I make it the night before so all the flavors can come together and I use the whole can of tomatoes It is a big lunch with a side of sliced apples and filling! I think dinner is going to be something other than the fajitas I had planned. I just don't think I could eat that much. Maybe I'll just have some shrimp later and call it good. Nice to not be food obsessed today. Yesterday I was swirling all kinds of crazy food ideas in my head. Irritating. |

The only thing I can offer as far as a tip, is that I followed protocol exactly as written. (no splenda or Walden Farms products, only stevia drops) I went to the beach in Maine for the day (packed a cooler for me), out to eat when in Salem, MA for the day (brought my chicken and celery in my purse) and even to a big family gathering (ate before I went)... Normally those would have been a "good reason" to bend the rules a bit, but I made sure I didn't have any excuse to cheat!!! I did have a little plateau for four days last week, and then things slowed down a bit, but I'm thrilled with my results. I haven't been this weight for 6 years! |

![]() Seriously though, go ahead and exercise. I don't know where people keep getting the idea that you are not allowed to exercise on the hcg protocol. P&I specifically says or alludes to the fact that you can in several instances. The only caution is for people who are sedentary. They shouldn't jump into an extreme exercise routine while in hcg. Here are some quotes though, supporting exercise while on hcg. Quote:

Exercising will help keep your metabolism revved, which should help your body burn more fat while on hcg. Just don't overdo it.

Here's what the protocol says to flavor your tea or coffee: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoon of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or other sweeteners may be used. Keep in mind that there were no diet sodas available 60 years ago when the protocol was first published...and that was probably the reason they were not included, since they didn't exist!
