[QUOTE=MistyLoo;13778669]I mean Bernice has come to visit and I think she's moved in. She makes her presence know about every half hour. And my stomach feel like .

I don't eat breakfast, I never have.
Yesterday I had
(L.)a HB patty with sliced tomatoes and onion
(D.) 2 scrambled eggs with sausage and the rest of my tomato

I was still so full I had a hard time getting comfortable when I went to bed 4 hours later.

I don't really care for fruit or most veggies. Now if we want to talk about chili-cheese fritos or cheese crackers, or cheese enchiladas you can see where I put this weight on in the first place.
[QUOTE]

I remember feeling queasy when I first started P3. It was like I didn't want to eat. Don't worry, you get over that pretty fast If I were you, I would eat the same as P2 but double your protein, get rid of the melba toast, and add butter to your veggies until your tummy adapts to P3. I recommend doing a full P3 and P4 just to give your body a break. But, interruptions can be good too. Sometimes a week interruption while staying in your 2 pound window can jump start your losses. Gosh Gracie, you have been so helpful to me today! I've been looking forward to getting back to the gym in P3, but that's only because I've been on a gym kick lately. Prior to my gym kick I was on a "never have enough time to get to the gym" kick. So I guess I'm going to save exercise for P4 that way if I don't get around to the gym for a couple of weeks it won't hurt me. Thanks for the great info!

I agree regarding the chicken and the meds. I am still taking my levothyroxine for my hypothyroid with no issues. I am also doing the subq HCG.

Also, I should mention, I have the greatest exboyfriend ever! Really, you should all consider getting an ex like mine. We're doing this diet together (despite the fact that he doesn't need to lose any weight) and he's been buying all the stuff that I needed just as long as make up all his meals for him. He just came by my work and brought me a Route 44 Ice Tea from Sonic. Then he's headed over to my house to fix my closet doors. If that sounds weird, he's also my landlord. You wouldn't think having a ex for a landlord wouldn't work out, but it's great for us. And despite the fact that our relationship is over he still gives me a HUGE discount on my rent.

Thanks Gracie, you're a doll. I only have 8 more lbs to get to goal which is why I'm considering going on with P2. Right now I just feel like if I can't have what I want to eat, I would just as soon not eat. You've given me something to think about.

Debkeversole,

Oh thank you! That brings a major smile to my face! I am hopeful since everyone is different and I plan to follow protocol perfectly that I will stabilize! Hopefully the hydrocortisone won't be an issue either! Awesome news for your husband!! Have a good night!

Well, if you are following Dr. Simeon's protocol he says that you need a *minimum* of 6 weeks in between the HCG rounds. Your body needs to really stabilize. From everything I have read, I will be increasing the time in between rounds with each subsequent round.

Gracie, thanks so much for all of your wisdom. It is very much appreciated.

Having a not hungry day, which is nice. I'm just now having my first meal I just sort of forgot to eat Btw, when I plan on having chili I make it the night before so all the flavors can come together and I use the whole can of tomatoes It is a big lunch with a side of sliced apples and filling! I think dinner is going to be something other than the fajitas I had planned. I just don't think I could eat that much. Maybe I'll just have some shrimp later and call it good. Nice to not be food obsessed today. Yesterday I was swirling all kinds of crazy food ideas in my head. Irritating.

A 6pk of mini powdered donuts
2Tbl cashew butter
1/2 a cheeseburger
2 bacon & cheese sandwiches
a handful of pork rinds w/ cream cheese
a low carb ice cream bar

Can't wait for day 2 LOL

Thanks! The only thing I can offer as far as a tip, is that I followed protocol exactly as written. (no splenda or Walden Farms products, only stevia drops)

I went to the beach in Maine for the day (packed a cooler for me), out to eat when in Salem, MA for the day (brought my chicken and celery in my purse) and even to a big family gathering (ate before I went)... Normally those would have been a "good reason" to bend the rules a bit, but I made sure I didn't have any excuse to cheat!!!

I did have a little plateau for four days last week, and then things slowed down a bit, but I'm thrilled with my results. I haven't been this weight for 6 years!

Seriously though, go ahead and exercise. I don't know where people keep getting the idea that you are not allowed to exercise on the hcg protocol. P&I specifically says or alludes to the fact that you can in several instances. The only caution is for people who are sedentary. They shouldn't jump into an extreme exercise routine while in hcg. Here are some quotes though, supporting exercise while on hcg.

Quote:
"[Muscular fatigue] does not occur in patients who regularly take vigorous exercise and continue to do so during treatment."
This statement seems to support taking "vigorous exercise" while on hcg.

Quote:
"These patients have their meals, sleep, and attend the clinic in the hospital, but are otherwise free to spend their time as they please in the city and its surroundings sightseeing, sun-bathing or theater-going."
"Sightseeing" implies a lot of walking.

Quote:
"Just as the daily dose of HCG is the same in all cases, so the same diet proves to be satisfactory for a small elderly lady of leisure or a hard working muscular giant."
A "hardworking muscular giant" is probably someone who does a lot of phyiscal labor for a living. There is nothing to suggest that they would need to stop working while on protocol.

Exercising will help keep your metabolism revved, which should help your body burn more fat while on hcg. Just don't overdo it.

If you are experiencing stomach problems your first day of P3, what you need to do is take probiotics. They will help immediately!! I had loose BMs my first P3 day after completing my first round and it was horrible. I took 1 pill before each meal and was able to keep my food in my tummy! Thank the good Lord above. I just wanted it to stop!!! Anyhow, until your organs re-learn how to process those fats it will rebel. Enjoy your P3!!!!!!!!!!!

I am here!! Surprise!! We got a big shock when the wi-fi worked in our place. But it is spotty and slow. So I will be in and out this week. I have adrenal fatigue, yes, but don't take cortizone for it. I was actually introduced to the Hhcg by someone else who has bad adrenal fatigue. And I never thought I would lose the weight I did because of my hormonal issues. You will do well!!

Usually I'm so excited to weigh in the morning. I am not looking forward to it tomorrow. I'm sooo bloated for the second day in a row.

Must be TOM. I'm drinking lots of water.

I hope the scale is nice to me.

I just have to tease you a little bit and let you know that Stevia drops are not anymore on protocol than splenda...they are a south american herb that wasn't around in Italy when the protocol was written - if you are referring to the Pounds and Inches protocol maybe you mean KTs protocol? And Splenda wasn't around either.

Here's what the protocol says to flavor your tea or coffee:
Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoon of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or other sweeteners may be used.

Keep in mind that there were no diet sodas available 60 years ago when the protocol was first published...and that was probably the reason they were not included, since they didn't exist!
