I'm getting into cooking for my SO. Usually when I'm dieting I hate cooking for him...now I happily cook bacon and eggs, grilled cheese, grilled ribeyes, etc...just so I can smell his delicious food.

Just checking in to subscribe! Started loading today I'm looking forward to VLCD1 because this loading thing is messin' with my head! I think Dr. S threw the loading days in to the protocol more for psychological reasons than physical You're so sick of food by then, you can't wait to eat VLC

I'm doing 10 drops 3x a day, and my bottle says to hold under tongue for 5 MINUTES! Does anyone else do this!? I can't hold it there that long!

Congrats to everyone on the losses! Can't wait til I'm doing the same!!

I only do it for 15 seconds at the least to a minute or so at the most. I do think that the good Dr. S knew a little sumthin' sumthin'!

Gosh, I never thought about Communion messing me up! (I don't drink the wine, though - the community cup kind of grosses me out!). I wonder how many calories/carbs are in one of those little wafers?

Hii everyone

Today was loading day #2 for me and I really didn't eat that much but I'm soooo full. I hope it doesn't come back to bite me this week. I had planned to eat way more than I did and better things but I ended up eating a lot of my "favorite" foods so that I would get them out of my system.

Loading Day #1 (Sat):
Breakfast: Bacon, Mayo on a Butter Croissant + Water
Snack: 1/2 spoon of peanut butter (I wanted to gag)
Late lunch/Early Dinner: Tri Tip, Mashed Potatoes, Mac-n-Cheese, Biscuits with honey butter + Water
Snack: Small pieces of divinity and walnut fudge + punch icy
Late Snack: Buttered Popcorn + Coke Zero

Loading Day #2
Breakfast: 2 Donuts + Large Milk
Snack: Homemade guacamole and chips
Lunch/Dinner: Carne Asada, guacamole, sour cream, a few spoons of beans, mexican cheese and 3 corn tortillas + Water
Snack: Pineapple cheesecake with HWC + Water

I was up .6 this morning so we'll see what tomorrow brings.
I've had a headache so taking something for that but I was having a mild headache all week so not sure it has anything to do with the HCG. Yesterday I was dizzy for a moment before lunch/dinner but I think I did my doses too close together and that might be why.

Well, today is VLCD2 for me and I am down 5.2 lbs!!! I did gain 2.4 lbs loading, so it is a 2.8 lb loss from LD1 weigh in. I can't believe I am losing!!!!!!!!!

Way to go! It's just the beginning.

I'm up .5 today. I think it's just all the walking I did on Sat plus the sleep disruption and late weigh in on Sun.

Well it's Monday and I feel like an utter failure. I can do this plan during the work week with no problem what-so-ever. Saturday I did fine. Sunday I just couldn't get through it. It was ALL MENTAL - I know that. I don't even want to think about the things I ate yesterday. I was up 2 pounds this morning because of it and I feel like I just need to start my 21 day count all over again.

My food for today is:
coffee
water
tea
chile - melba toast - apple
shrimp - asparagus - tomato or orange

Well, I've made it through 2 weeks of VLCD and have dropped 17 pounds!!! I'm down a pants size and lost a chin. Yesterday was the first day I was actually hungry but I didn't give in, just took a nap.

Today will be Day 2 of loading and I'm kinda freaking out. I was up 1.5lbs from yesterdays weigh-in but I'm up 6lbs from where I was about 2 weeks ago when I first decided to do this. That would be thanks to my pre-loading loading I think that's what's bothering me. I can't wait to start seeing it come off!!! Has anyone else felt like this?? SO GLAD I decided to go on and start before I leave for vacation. Who knows what the scale would read when I got back!

I noticed on here that some people who have done low carb for a long time stop losing weight on it after awhile. I wonder if those that have mainly eaten low carb for a long time before trying hcg lose slower than someone who never eats low carb. Just curious....

I did'nt post yesterday...but I did weigh in.
The scale was UP...but I knew it would be. Always is after a big event at the bar. And then when I get some good rest...it comes right off.
Yesterday...up 1.7
Today...down 1.9
Todays weight is 181.4
I think today my drops will be finally finished. It's been a long round.

Don't beat yourself up! Weekends are hard for me too. I like the structure of the weekday much better, but I have to say that I am more active on the weekend and that I forgot about food. I don't know how else to explain it.

I would just get back on plan today and go forward.

Well this is vlcd 15 or 16and the scale is bouncing around on me.I have lost and gained the same 2lbs for the last 3 days.Very discouraging.
The thing that keeps me going is reading this is very normal for the point of P2 I am in.I still have an avg of over 1lb a day.I am going to try upping my water today.I have only been getting in about 50-60 oz.I'm going to try for 80+ today.I can tell I'm holding water..AGAIN*sigh*Hopefully tomorrow will give me a nice release.

A drop of .2lbs for a grand total now of 5.4 net lbs lost in a week (over 10 from my highest load weight). I'm just thrilled the scale continues to fall!!

I just looked at my stats and I have REALLY bounced around alot this week.Losing,gaining,losing...Still,I have lost 16lbs in about 16 daysWhat do you all think?
Is my body just having to play catch up or do I need to try something like an Apple Day?No real losses this week

Wow!! gone 3 days, Ya'll finish up July and have 2 days for August!!!
Knew I wouldn't be able to stay OP durring my trip so I switched to Low Carb but kept taking my drops only gained 1.4 lbs back OP today!!
