MBB! Congrats on hitting Onederland today!!! go! go! Go!
![]() Morning everyone ![]() I'm down another .5 for a total of 15 pounds in 15 days!! 5 pounds to my goal weight!!! I can't even believe it! I'm so excited. My bf is back in town next week and I'm rather looking forward to our reunion ![]() Here's todays menu on R1P2VLCD16: Grilled steak in marinade (this is my staple lunch these days) with grilled spinach, sliced apple Sauteed spinah with chopped chicken, garlic, Braggs Amino with sliced strawberries. Hopefully today dinner will sound good. I have zero hunger. I actually woke up this morning sort of dreading food Not sure why actaully since I love to eat I'm doing more house work today so that will keep me busy. Today is senioir discount day and my grocery card was my dh's so it qualifies so I may have to hit my Fry's and get a thing or two or twenty with the ten percent discount on the card. Perfect time to get the rest of my round's groceries that can be frozen. |

Thanks. I love Low Carb...Atkins specifically! I just hit a wall last fall and then gained eating the way I had all along the way. It feels so good to be losing again! After so long....I thought that this was it for me. I am sure hoping that HCG is what gets me to a normal weight!

Funny thing. Last night, just for the heck of it used one of my ketostix to see if I was in ketosis. I sure *AM*!! I am drinking tons of water and still the stick is darker than it has been while I was following Atkins. Weird, huh? Also, I enter my food every day into ******...force of habit...and I am getting a lot more carbs than I ever did on Atkins and I am losing! I never upped my carbs very much over 20 for fear of gaining. Just a couple things I noticed.
Did I mention how much I love HCG!?!?!?! I never would have thought I would be able to do the injections (big needle phobe), but they are essentially painless...subq in the belly.Have a great day everyone! ![]() |

This is a hard thing to wrap your head around. I know as I had been low carb for 11 years prior to starting this Hhcg!!!! When you start this, you have to absolutely re-orient your mind. This is a low calorie/low fat plan. Definitely not low carb!!! And to be losing---how awesome!!!! It is like magic!!! |

Congrats on onederland MBB!!!!
I am on VLCD10 and down 13.8 lbs and am experiencing some major fatigue. Tired and muscle weakness. What have you ladies found helpful on those days? I took a potassium tablet this morning but maybe I need something else because it hasn't made a difference. |

Potaty, I take a multi, potassium and just added biotin yesterday and I seem to have my ups and down days with being tired and then energetic. I may add the B-12 too
on my grocery store walk each day Blue, you don't eat the fruit? I never really cared for apples until I started doing this plan. Now I can't get enough of them. I'm weird in that I'd actually like to do an apple day but haven't hit a plateau so it isn't necessary so I'm not going to until (or if) I do. I'm an idiot by the way. I'm actually down a full pound. I should log into my ****** acct before I post here. Duh. I swear I'm losing so quickly that I can't even remember what I weighed the day before! this is nutso. and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! So, down 15.5 in 15 days! 4.5 to my goal weight! ![]() |

I'm curious: when you guys tally your lost pounds do you subtract from your highest load day or from pre-load? (not counting those of you who lost while loading
) |

Just had my first meal:
3.5 oz. chicken, tomato, 1 Garlic & Herb Grissini (when I took it out of the package I thought "what's the point?? But it was tasty & I enjoyed it).I'll have an apple a little later, I don't need it right now. For dinner I was planning on having tilapia, but I don't have any in my freezer! Will need to go buy some. So, for tonight it is: 3.5 oz chicken, spinach sauteed with garlic, 1 Grissini, 1/2 grapefruit Green tea & water throughout the day. So far, so good! |

Well, I just took my "Before" pictures just for myself to have something to reference by. Let's just say that was an experience I would never like to have again.
![]() Hopefully, those will be a thing of the past and I won't look like that in a few weeks! Today is going better, I was starving all morning but waited until 11:30 to eat my chicken, romaine lettuce, melba toast, & 1/2 an orange. I think the orange may be helping with the fatigue I was having earlier. So things are pretty good so far! I would love to try to nap this afternoon but I will (again) have three boys with me and I'm taking them to Jumpzone (its a bunch of jump houses inside a big building) so I will have to deal with screaming kids all day geez. A least maybe it will keep my mind off eating!

Interesting. I also checked the Ketostix just to see and have observed exactly the opposite -- no color. And I always had good color on Atkins, no matter how much water I drank. And I do not eat the grisini or the fruit on this protocol, so I am consuming well under 20 grams of carbs. However, I am taking the hHCG and it sounds like you have the Rx injections. Given that my losses are becoming more and more disappointing, I am certainly going to switch the next round. I'm not trying to say that hHCG doesn't work for everyone, but in my case I am wondering if it has much of an effect and what losses I have had are possibly due to the drastic lowering of calories much more than the HCG depositing fat stores into my bloodstream for availability. Still, I am going to complete this round, finishing a short P2 and then doing P3 and P4, and then do R2 with the Rx stuff. |

Ya'll are probably going to get tired of me and my questions here soon, but here I go with more anyway.
I'm still waiting on my drops and doing what I guess ya'll refer to as "pre-loading". Basically, I've been doing low carb for long that I only know how to either eat low carb, or pig out! But I'm soooo ready to just get my drops and get my loading done with so that I can move on to watching those numbers fall! Also is there anybody on here that goes on dates regularly? Strangely enough, considering how fat I currently feel, I've been asked on a couple of dates this week. I would like to go, but don't know how to handle the actual date. Any advise? |

I use Alberto V05 shampoos and conditioners. You can say I'm lucky because I don't use make-up or lotion, but my favorite hair conditioner had coconut oil in it so can't use it.
My hair is a frizzy mess (a few months ago I combed out dreadlocks, my hair hasn't been the same since) but it'll work for three weeks. I hope. ![]() As for dating, check out this thread: Dating Updates Gang Whole bunch of help available, right here on LCF! Last edited by sassy_red; 08-04-2010 at 11:27 AM.. |
